Please note that this car has Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) as part of the Sport Chrono Package Plus, which provides the desirable "sport mode" functionality for suspension and throttle response. And for all the hardtop fans, note that the hardtop has the preferred threaded mounts, not the bayonet type. Don't be scared off by the mileage - I recently spent $11k+ on this car ensuring that it is in top shape and ready for the next 100,000 miles. These cars are made to be driven, and as is often noted, more than 2/3 of all the 911s ever built are still on the road. Nobody blinks at buying well-cared for high-mileage air-cooled 911s, and if you believe, as I do, that the 997s are destined to be classics, then the same will be true, and this car will certainly be on the road for many years to come.

@awilsdon Hello, it is the original clutch. It feels strong and perfect with no slippage. I'm very gentle on clutches in general and find the Porsche clutches to be very long lasting.
Hi, can you share any information about the condition of the clutch? Thanks!

@Leewillm Thank you for your interest. PCARMarket just added a video showing showing a cold start and the top in operation, so you should see that now. I do not have a DME report. I bought the car as certified from Porsche and they should not have certified it if they had any concerns about overrevs. In the 5+ years that I have owned it, it has only been driven by me (or the dealership when it was in for service) and I have certainly never gotten anywhere close to the rev limit - to be honest I'd be surprised if I've ever crossed 5,000 rpm. This car has never had any engine problems nor has the dealer ever expressed any concerns about the engine or anything appearing in the DME. The dealer recently did a bore score inspection while the spark plugs were being replaced and all was perfect.

Can you post a start up video and a video of the top going up/down?
Also, do you have a DME report (over revs)?
Hello, I'm the owner for the past 5+ years, Chris. Thank you for viewing and please let me know if you have any questions. Also included but not shown in the pictures is the matching hardtop, cover for the hardtop, a brand new set of correct floormats for the car from Porsche (still in the package), Porsche wind deflector and original wind deflector cover. Oil change, new spark plugs, all new shocks and struts, all new brakes all done at the Porsche dealer less than 500 miles ago. It's been a great car for me and I hope it finds a great new home and brings you as much enjoyment as it has brought me. Good luck bidding and thanks for your interest.
