@lennon997 The good thing about Pcarmarket you don't have to be registered to ask questions. Why would I want to have my credit card exposed with so many hackers these days. I asked questions and if I like the car I would have bid on it. Doesn't make me a tire kicker!! Why don't you tell it to everyone who isn't register. So are we all whom is not registered not allowed to ask proper questions and you are discriminating the registered vs non registered here. And you don't make this any better by commenting and not making a bid yourself makes no different than I am here.
@Autotrend Julian is not going to be pleased...Ricky & Bubbles are bringing him a bottle of Rum to cheer him up.
@AMG63S Implying that your not even a registered bidder on this site, so your just a tire kicker....so your asking questions left and right and have no ability at the moment to even place a bid...so yes.
well, i did my part.
Thank you all for bidding and your comments.
Will catch you on the next one.
Bid in the amount of $75,500
Under an 1 hour left.
Good Luck Bidding!
@lennon997 Isn't the purpose of leaving a comment to ask questions? Are you implying that anyone who inquires about the cars that haven't sold yet is just a "tire kicker"? I'm sure you’ve been in the same position at some point during a bid.
The first pictures in the gallery look like they were taken in front of the building “boiling room” was filmed in. Anyone else see what I’m seeing?
@Doorman Has to be a tune on the car, from the dyno shots (and owning multiple modded VTG and OG turbos) would appear to have modified stock VTG turbos, a common and easy upgrade. No added lag, lots of added TQ and HP..
@AMG63S equivalent of a tire kicker, awesome. im not registered im just here asking questions for no reason.
@siliev1991 Not a threat at all just a fact, everyone has their logic and they do as they see it fit.
I've never understood threats from sellers where they say.. "if it doesn't sell at this price, the price is going up!" To me it would make more sense that the price should go down if you can't sell it at your original asking price (or reserve in this case).
⏰ 22 HOURS LEFT! Don’t let this one of a kind 997 Turbo Coupe slip through your fingers! 🚗💨

@ZoomAuto I am not at the moment but thanks for pointing that out. If I like something I will be registered. I am just doing my enhance due diligence. Thanks.
@AMG63S Just fyi, you are not registered as "registered bidder" based on PCarMarket.
@AMG63S It's a thin wire, original 997.1 comes with 2 parking lmlights with a small 5W bulb, 1 on right side and another on the left. Since this body kit doesn't have parking lights, it's simply a wire with a bulb that is not being used and needs to be tucked away a little better since it came out.
Picture#14 driver side front air intake just below the signal there is a large wire hanging?
Can you let us know what that wire is for and why it is just hanging like that? Thanks
@AMG63S Minor scratches
As per your Inspection Report noted that all 4 wheels have damage? Can you extend what type of damages on all 4 wheels? Wheel cracks, bend etc? Do all 4 wheels need to be replaced? If so, how much does it cost to replace all 4 wheels? Assuming it won't be cheap as these wheels are custom specs for wide body.
@Suncoastmotors Just uploaded from dyno machine that was in the car.

@Doorman Let me respond to your questions based on information given to us by well known Porsche race shop:
1. Given the upgraded turbos, is there a tune on the car and with what?
Yes, but no way to tell
2. How long has you/your dealership owned the vehicle? Given that it was purchased from auction in April of this year and the overrevs in ranges 5 and 6 occurred a relatively short period ago hoping you can shed some light.
It was done prior to our purchase. It appears that it was done by either trucker while loading or at auction for a very short duration
3. Given the sporadic service history and a jiffy lube service, can we please have a cold start and driving video?
This vehicle has been serviced by Porsche dealer in QC a few times and yes 1 oil change was done at Jiffy Lube in NS. We do not see an issue with it since oil changes on Porsches do not require much knowledge and skill and Juffy Lube definately knows how to do that since this is the only thing they do.
Both videos have been uploaded
4. Do you know the brand of the aftermarket exhaust?
Definately has high flow cats and 1 sport muffler, possibly fabspeed but no tags on it.
5. Pictures on a lift would be great given it’s time up north.
Pictures have been uploaded.
Hope we have covered it all.
ZoomAuto
@AMG63S Yes, we are a dealership, however we do not have service department and have provided what was replaced. It has been raining yesterday and should be raining today all day as well as not all lifts can lift up this car because of clearance, but I'll see what can be done. As far as engine oil leaks, we were told there are no engine oil leaks and 997 tt's not known to leak.
If you don't have an inspection report done for the car, I would like to see a start up video and hear the engine and exhaust notes. Also pictures of the under the car would help as well.
@seller
Definitely interested. Couple of questions:
1. Given the upgraded turbos, is there a tune on the car and with what?
2. How long has you/your dealership owned the vehicle? Given that it was purchased from auction in April of this year and the overrevs in ranges 5 and 6 occurred a relatively short period ago hoping you can shed some light.

@AMG63S John Paul Tremblay plays Julian on the cult classic show, Trailer Park Boys...It is one of the funniest things to ever come out of Canada.
@lennon997 Sorry but I don't even know who Julian Tremblay is. If it was Paul Walker I would no doubt say yeah this car is worth more because he owned it. Nothing against Julian Tremblay but just saying.
@lennon997 It has been owned by Julian, you can see pictures posted on his Instagram etc.
@renuauto If Julian owned this car then the value just went up 20%.
That seems like quite a large amount of money for an opening bid for this Porsche.
Like the Porsche itself kind of interesting and certainly not your typical Porsche on
Pcarmarket
@ZoomAuto Being that you are a dealer would you have an inspection report to share with us? Would love to see the report and I think that would make the bidder more confident. Just one thing that worries me if there are any potential leaks from the engine being an almost 18yr old Porsche. Thanks
@renuauto Thank you
My understanding is this vehicle was celebrity owned as well (John Paul Tremblay). Cool car. Best of luck with the sale Zoom!
@AMG63S It's a very very low miles car so there's nothing needed as well as it has great history on Carfax. We have done oil change, replaced one of steering links, detailing. What we know, is listed.
Bid in the amount of $75,000
Thanks sorry I missed the DME and see it now. Any documented history records passed down to you and was there any reconditioning done to the car? Also, since you are a dealership do you have an inspection report? Thanks!!!
@AMG63S Hello. We are a dealership, we buy cars to sell. No coolant pipes done and for 18k miles, there is not need to do it based on advise we were given. Dme report has been posted yesterday. FYI Carfax has bought Canadian Carfax and to the best of our knowledge it's the same data.
Any particular reason selling the Turbo so soon after taking ownership in April 2024? Also was the coolant pipes ever pinned? A DME report will be nice to see. Looks like the car made its round in Southern USA all the way to Canada and now back to USA. Would you also have a Canadian Carfax? I know some of the Canadian details may not show in the USA Carfax and vice versa.
@Suncoastmotors Definitely possible, hard to tell just by seat of the pants, but it’s a lot faster than stock.
@ZoomAuto, thank you and I'll look forward to those pictures.
@Tangerine997 Total Performance. I will try getting pictures on Monday since they are closed for the weekend.
Very unique and interesting Porsche. build for sure
Should be interesting to see how this develops on the website
Probably not in a Porsche purest idea or interest given the bowl time fenders etc.
However, given the performance mods in the still plea, look certainly should attract an interesting portion of the Porsche. market
Wondering if the exhaust modifications will allow it to pass California smog requirements, probably not
Finally, As I believe, was mentioned in the comment section, and is always a positive for any Porsche or other car auction on Pcarmarket, driving videos, cold engine start, and underside pictures of the car are extremely important to the success of the sale
Good luck all
Is that 510hp at the wheels?
@ZoomAuto, what Porsche shop did you use to go through the car.
Also, full pictures of the undercarriage would be a plus.
Thanks.
@ZoomAuto thank you

@dukeyr This is what we know and it was checked by performance Porsche shop in the area.
In 2015 upgraded with Liberty Walk Body kit etc by SR Auto Group in Vancouver, however they replaced their system and no stored receipts but they confirmed that work was done by them.
Liberty Walk Body kit, BorgWarner Turbos, 510HP on Dyno, PUR LG07 19" Wheels, Bilstein Damptroronic Coil Over's, HIgh-Flow Air Filters, High Flow Cats and Mufflers, All Stainless Braided Brake houses, Red front seatbelts, TechArt Pedals, 997.2 LED Fail Lights
are there receipts for the body kit, engine work, exhaust etc?
if not do you know the mfr of the turbos and other performance parts?
@bunk Targa’s especially 4S are definitely hard to come by, sounds like you have a great toy, enjoy!
Regards,

Hello Everyone! We are extremely excited to offer one of a kind Mezger 997.1 Turbo with Manual transmission, very low mileage, accident free Carfax and Autocheck history and a lot of extras that makes this vehicle very unique and most definately 1 out of 1 available.
We will be glad to answer on any questions you have during this auction.
Good Luck Bidding!
ZoomAuto
@dukeyr Hello. Tires are: 235/35/ZR19 and 305/30/ZR19. Turbo emblem has been installed along with rear spoiler since is not original, it came with a body kit. Turbo emblem is black plastic and not painted, it needs to be cleaned better around it.
No other parts come with a car.
do original parts come with car? wheels?
in the pic of the turbo emblem it looks like the paint is messed up, the emblem was moved, or both?
what size and year are the tires?
beautiful turbo btw. menacing looking for sure!
My 10 years w an '07 targa 4s were great, only held back by the automatic transmission. This turbo must be a stallion, built on the great Mezger engine. Must be a blast to drive: an energetic driving video would help the sale a lot.
The wheel well extensions are a step too far for me. Do fellow readers have any suggestions for this part of the build? Otherwise, this one looks to be pure fun and truly exhilarating. GLWTA!
Can we get some full interior pictures please from entire dash and steering wheel, driver side showing both seats at the same time.
A DME report would be appreciated and helpful please
