This 2007 Porsche 997 Turbo Coupe is finished in Black over a matching full leather interior featuring optional deviated stitching, carbon fiber trim, Adaptive Sport Seats with Porsche-crested headrests, and seatbelts in Speed Yellow. It came factory-equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission, Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB), Sport Chrono Package Turbo, and other options at an original cost of over $152k. Under prior ownership, the car was extensively modified including the installation of a Switzer R911 power kit at a cost of over $35k which claims to provide up to 1,000 HP. It has also been upgraded with a Sachs 2.5 clutch kit, welded coolant pipes, a GT2 slave cylinder conversion, and KW V3 coilovers. Previously sold on PCARMARKET, this upgraded 997 Turbo underwent a major recent service and is now being offered for auction by its seller out Tennessee while showing approximately 21k miles on the odometer.
This 997 Turbo comes finished in Black and was previously covered by a full vinyl wrap which was removed by the current owner. The optional ceramic brake system includes yellow-painted calipers which can be seen mounted behind custom aftermarket 19” wheels dressed in Nitto NT101 tires (2717). The car has also been customized with LED taillights and a GT2-style carbon fiber rear wing. The seller notes a deer ran into the side of the vehicle during their ownership and the subsequent cosmetic damage was repaired using paintless dent removal and refinishing of the driver's rear quarter panel. Some minor rock chips and pitting are also noted on the front end and windshield. The seller adds that the car recently underwent professional paint correction and ceramic coating. Additional images are provided in the gallery along with a CARFAX report showing the minor damage in 2021.
Inside, this Turbo is factory appointed with Black full leather upholstery and deviated white stitching as well as the optional Carbon Package, Speed Yellow seatbelts, Adaptive Sport Seats with leather backrests, Porsche-crest embossed headrests, a storage compartment with model logo, door finishers in carbon, carbon fiber multifunction steering wheel, a carbon fiber switch panel, and illuminated door entry guards in carbon fiber. Optional amenities include the Parking Assist System, heated front seats, and a rear window wiper. An aftermarket touchscreen head unit has also been installed and features Bluetooth and Apple CarPlay. The seller indicates some wear on the driver's seat bolster and discoloration on the passenger seat leather. The seller adds that the brake light warning icon is present on the dashboard due to the LED tailight conversion.
This 997 is equipped with a twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter Mezger flat-six engine sending power to all four wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission. The Switzer R911 kit offers a claimed output of up to 1000 HP with ECU software upgrade, BMC air filters, a stainless-steel exhaust, silicone hose kit, larger intercoolers, fuel system upgrades, billet blowoff valves, heavy-duty wastegate actuators, billet aluminum intake plumbing, and modified Alpha GT30 turbochargers. Other modifications include a Sachs 2.5 clutch kit and flywheel, upgraded camshafts and adjusters, welded coolant pipes, a GT2 slave conversion, and KW V3 coilovers. The seller notes a recent service was completed which included new spark plugs, fuel injectors, a new battery, alternator, and rebuilt turbochargers with new insulation blankets.
This will include a car cover, a battery charger, extensive documentation, and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: "Thank you for visiting my auction. I am helping sell this car for a close friend of mine. He has owned it for almost 3 years now and is selling it due to interest in a 992 Turbo S. To our knowledge and understanding this vehicle has never been tracked and has always been garage kept. This vehicle will come with extensive paperwork showing all maintenance and modifications done to the vehicle. All maintenance is up to date and the car is ready for its next owner. Please feel free to ask any questions you have and I will do my best to answer them."

Can you attach the invoices for the PDR work and quarter panel refinishing from the deer damage? Do the rear wheels have spacers? They appear to be sticking out 1" or more past the fenders.

@dutch865 they had shaft play when the current owner had the car inspected. He decided to do a full overhaul on them.
@FJhokie a results search will allow you to view it. Here is the link: https://www.pcarmarket.com/auction/2007-porsche-997-turbo-coupe-1/
Dear PCA, it would be nice if you included the link to the previous auction. This thing looks like mean, pretty awesome.

@jchmedia any idea why the turbos needed to be rebuilt already?

I’ve read and watched DME discussions on YouTube but what RPM is used please ? 7,000 or 7,500? I read your comment where the upgrades might have increased the red line to 7,500. 65,500 over Revs in first sounds like a lot but I read where the engines in your model go to 9,000 revs in racing Porsches. Also 5th and 6th gear over revs would take the car to very fast speeds. Great car and upgrades in any case!!!!!

Being from Fl . And silly ask . Does it have A/C also ?
@Michaelscheid25 unfortunately I do not. Previous owner did not provide us with them
Wow wow wow. Amazing car. If I might make a suggestion, make a driving video that is longer to show off what this car can do. To get people excited and to prove that everything works as it should.
Do you have photos of the engine while it’s out of the car that does not have the red draping on it? I would appreciate some shots around the engine while it was on the ground.
Thanks, in advance
@hsq the car should have 0 problems passing emissions due to the race cats. From my understanding there’s a way to code out the warning light for the taillights so there’s no warning light. No the vehicle comes as is with no stock parts.
Any idea if this car will be able to pass emissions in Maryland? Also, to get rid of the brake light warning in the dash, is the only way to switch back to the original tail lights? Do the original tail lights come with the car?

Would like to go ahead and add that I did have a DME report tan on the car today. I will be adding the pictures of the results into the photo gallery here shortly. Side note to anyone interested in the DME report. This specific vehicle having a built motor and a tune has a raised rev limiter set at 7,500 so keep this in mind while looking at the report. Again feel free to ask any questions I’m happy to answer as many as I can. I also have a few more in car videos of pulls I will see if I can add on here as well showing the raised limiter in action.
@rennsport997 All interior carbon pieces were replaced with the exception of the passenger and driver air vent pieces as well as the steering wheel. I couldn’t agree anymore with you about the car looking much better without the wrap and orange accents.
@Userapatel my previous car was a 997 turbo w 750hp. It's alot for daily driving and honesty not enough road. This car can hit 200mph if you had a runway. Aftermarket suspension a must and makes the car much more road worthy. And thank goodness the blue wrap and orange vinyl was removed. And the carbon fiber package is the cherry on top. @jchmedia what parts are from DB Carbon?
@Miked2020 Working on getting that as soon as I can. Should be by end of day or tomorrow. I will add it to the photo gallery as soon as I receive it
Bid in the amount of $10,000
@Userapatel The car is currently setup on a low boost setting so it’s very usable. Obviously having bigger turbos on a car like this it does have lag but the car runs and drives perfect. The KW’s are setup very nicely, not too stiff and not too soft. It’s on absolute rails so if you’re into cruising backroads or tearing up the highway this car does both flawlessly.
Is there such a thing as too much hp? Anyone have thoughts on if this could be a daily driver assuming you don't drive too much? I'm sure it's a blast on the open roads but how would it fair in any sort of traffic?
A DME report would be helpful. Thank you.
