We are pleased to present this 2007 Porsche 997 Turbo Coupe finished in Black over a black full leather interior. Carrying a twin-turbocharged 3.6L Mezger engine paired with a desirable 6-speed manual transmission, this 2007 example represents one of the most sought-after versions of the modern 911 Turbo. Factory features include 19” wheels, Exclusive stainless steel door entry guards, and the Sport Chrono Package Turbo. This 997 has also been upgraded with an aftermarket exhaust system along with a Fabspeed carbon fiber air intake system. It was purchased by the current owner about two years ago and has only traveled a few hundred miles since. With just over 15k miles currently showing on the odometer, this first-generation 997 Turbo is being offered for auction by its owner out of Connecticut accompanied by a set of two keys and the original owner's manuals.
This Coupe is finished in Black and features wide fenders with integrated rear air intakes, a speed-activated rear spoiler, and factory 19" Turbo wheels. These wheels come dressed in Bridgestone Potenza tires showing date codes from 2018 and are reported to have seen approximately 150 miles of use. The front end has been preserved under clear paint protection film and additional images are provided in the photo gallery along with paint meter readings and a clean CARFAX report.
Inside, you will find a premium black full leather interior with heated front seats, Exclusive door entry guards in stainless steel, a 6-disc CD changer, and the Sport Chrono Package which adds a stopwatch to the dashboard. Aftermarket pedal covers have been installed and all gauges and accessories are said to be fully functional at this time.
One of the most celebrated engine designs in Porsche’s history, this first-generation 997 Turbo is equipped with a twin-turbocharged 3.6L flat-six Mezger engine paired with a desirable 6-speed manual transmission. Up to 480 HP stock is disturbed among all four wheels allowing this Turbo to accelerate from 0-60 MPH in as little as 3.7 seconds while reaching a top speed of nearly 200 MPH. The optional Sport Chrono Package allows the driver to optimize performance characteristics with the press of a button. An upgraded exhaust system and Fabspeed carbon fiber air intake have also been installed for enhanced sound and power output. This 997 highlights a consistent history of dealer service on CARFAX and the seller reports routine fluid and filter changes to have been carried out under their ownership. A DME report is provided for reference in the photo gallery.
This sale will include a set of two keys, the original owner's manuals, and a clean title. If you are one of the many enthusiasts in search of a 6-speed Mezger Turbo, you do not want to miss out on your chance to own this low-mileage 2007 example.

@CarDragon Thought so too, thank you.
@FLCarNut Thank you, appreciate the great feedback.
@groach: Congrats on the purchase of one fantastic automobile!
@Tok50 You are right. I think it's worth more too. Hope you did OK having bought it a few years back.
Sold for $93,789
@groach Very, very well bought based on other sales of similar cars over the past 3 months. Enjoy in good health!
@Tok50 I thought it had a LOT more left in it. Perhaps it was not the best forum or just not the right bidders looking today.
@CarDragon is absolutely correct! We speak from market knowledge. Besides, this is an open forum @CarBidder. And trust me, I do not look like a mechanical device that extracts liquid and pulp from an orange!

Hey! I don't know the seller. What I do know is that a black '08 six speed with 12K miles was sold for $138K the other day. Not much difference between an '07 and '08.
Bid in the amount of $89,275
Having owned two turbos. These are bullet proof history proven racing lineage motors. The 997 body will go down as the last of the best designs. This is a manual low mileage unicorn.
Bid in the amount of $88,500
@Pahad210 Juicer!
@FLCarNut you should be a promoter! Lol
@FLCarNut 1000% agree!! Also, I found it somewhat interesting with all the questions about the DME, that nobody brought up the fact that the 5 & 6 are likely errors because it's virtually impossible to get a single overev in range 5, and it is truly impossible to have a single overev in 6 with a single in 5, since it has to pass 5 to get to 6, so it would have to go "back through" 5. Nonetheless, it appears the pace is picking up, so it will be interesting to see where this one lands.
This is a 6 FIGURE car!

@Tok50 awesome thanks for the info!
@Pahad210 These were previously responded to, No original airbox. Full service
in 2019 when purchased from dealer, new tires, new battery that stays on charger. Recent oil/filter change since. The car did not come with service records. Fuel stabilizer is used. Use the car lightly and have put on approx. 400 miles.
@Pahad210 This information
You either have AIRBOX or not. You either have service records or NOT. It is NOT very difficult question.
How long did you own the car and how many miles did you put on. Is battery still alive? If you are not driving much how do you maintain fuel? Do you add some sort of fuel stabilizer? Do you mind posting a video (from COLD START) of this car?
@CarBidder @Tok50 - can you post the information asked here??

@woodardsa Have not, but have had the car looked at and while up on a lift saw no fluid or
oil leaks, etc. The car is extremely clean inside and out.
@Tok50 thanks for your response. Have you done a compression and leak down test during your ownership?
@woodardsa That was prior to my ownership, but likely just a miss while shifting.
Never tracked or abused, thanks.
can you explain the over rev about 25 operating hours ago?
Hi, complete service records were not available when I purchased the car. It did receive all
the proper service from the Porsche dealer at that time. Since then I have put on very little
miles and have changed the oil/filter, fluids checked. Thanks
What service records do you have? Sorry if you have already answered this but I don’t see it. Thanks

Hi, would you mind sending a contact number via private message so we can discuss the car. I had to travel unexpectedly so timing to reply has not been
great. I’d like to help provide the confidence you require to bid and a discussion would expedite.
Thank you.
@Tok50 I am seriously considering to bid on car. Most people buy even KIA only after test ride. In this case I will be bidding on a very expensive car blindly. I am still waiting for information. You either have AIRBOX or not. You either have service records or NOT. It is NOT very difficult question. Most sellers here are quite engaging. It seems like you are taking days to answer very basic questions. I am thinking about doing PPI (at my expense) before bidding (I don't live any where near your location). Time seems to be running out very fast. How long did you own the car and how many miles did you put on. Is battery still alive? If you are not driving much how do you maintain fuel? Do you add some sort of fuel stabilizer? Do you mind posting a video (from COLD START) of this car?

@CarBidder I will get back to you on some of this after I connect with the seller I purchased from. There has been absolutely no damage to the car ever. After seeing it in person, the
condition spoke for itself and I had to have the car.
@sinciardi Hi and thanks for checking out the listing. I do not believe there have been any
other modifications by previous owners and def. nothing by me. I have put hardly any miles
on the car and have done basic fluid/filter change. The paint protection is on the front lid as you mention and the paint meter does indicate factory paint elsewhere.
@Tok50 Do you happened to do any service on this car and if yes do you have any records? CarFax report does not say much. Last brake fluid flush was like 6 years ago (according to car fax report) and no mention of sparks plug or air filters if ever been replaced. For most services there are mileages and time component to it as well.
@Tok50 Who installed aftermarket exhaust system along with a Fabspeed carbon fiber air intake system? Your or some other previous owner. Do you happen to still have original air box?
Who (you or previous owner) added front end clear paint protection film? Was there any damage kind fender bender etc or something else?
@Tok50 Besides the pedal covers and the airbox, are there any other modifications done to the car? Also, where exactly on the front end has the Xpel protective covering been applied---the paint meter reads at the front of the car except for the trunk lid appear to be factory readings. Lastly, are there any other service records with the car besides what is noted by the CarFax? Thanks.
Bid in the amount of $39,997
@CarBidder I did provide the DME as part of PCARMARKET's suggestion. You are welcome to carry out a PPI within a reasonable time prior to the auction ending. The range 6 was not under my ownership, however, one minor event was nothing of concern to me or my mechanic. It will be a tough order to find another one this clean. Please consider looking at the car in person before bidding if possible. You won't be disappointed and you will see that the car presents itself as a car that was loved and well cared for.
@CarBidder Hello and thank you for your interest. I have done my best here to describe the car accurately and will try to continue doing so. I am just a hobbyist who bought it as an occasional weekend driver and so I may not be able to give exact answers you are looking for. I can tell you it is in pristine condition and it has had no track use or abuse. The brakes are excellent with plenty left, the tires are new, only a couple hundred miles on them. You are more than welcome to come or send someone on your behalf to conduct an inspection. Truly nothing to hide here, it is a fantastic Turbo that took me a long time to source. Bid with confidence.
@sinciardi Sorry meant comment for the Owner of the car....@Tok50
@MezgerTT @Tok50 Besides the pedal covers and the airbox, are there any other modifications done to the car? Also, where exactly on the front end has the Xpel protective covering been applied---the paint meter reads at the front of the car except for the trunk lid appear to be factory readings. Lastly, are there any other service records with the car besides what is noted by the CarFax? Thanks.
@CarBidder Current owner is not going to know about the overrev- it was 25 engine hours ago. Current owner has only driven it a couple of hundred miles. 25 hours is likely somewhere around 1300 miles. My guess (and that is likely all that we will have) is that it got the single rev when it was for sale at the Ferrari dealership with 13,xxx miles on it. I also agree that it is likely nothing to worry about at this point. Probably one of the runners at the dealership or maybe happened in neutral revving the engine.
Also agree with the intake. Bring it back to stock and let it breathe nice cool pressurized air at speed.
@CarBidder I have no vested interest in this car, however, I’ve owned and still own a few manual 997 Turbos and GT2’s. That said, a single overrev in Range 5 and 6 is likely implausible and meaningless. I would base my decision on what I see in Range 1-4 on this car.
I just hope the seller kept the stock airbox as the Fabspeed system draws hot air from the engine compartment in direct contravention to the sealed factory airbox which gets high pressure, cool dense air forced into it from outside the vehicle.
Do you have PPI report? If yes, do mind sharing it? What happened in range 6 in Rev report?
What is condition of Brakes (how much life is left in millimeters) and what is thread count on Tires and when they were PUT on. When was Sparks Plug were last replaced (time and miles) and brake fluid was changed? Any leaks esp. Rear Main Seal Leak? When was Clutch replaced (time and miles)?
Im in northern NJ. I'd like to come see the car.
