Finished in Atlas Grey Metallic over a black interior, this 6-Speed 2007 Porsche 997 Turbo Coupe has been extensively modified, including an engine displacement increase to 3.8-liters by Evospec Performance along with high-performance fuel injectors, VGT turbos, catalytic converters, intercoolers, and other race-focused enhancements. The build incorporates a GT3 front bumper, GT3 Cup fender flares, GT2 side skirts, a GT2-style rear bumper and spoiler wing, various carbon fiber exterior and interior components, Tillett B5 carbon fiber bucket seats, a Protomotive ECU tune, a short shifter, a Sachs Stage 2.5 clutch, a limited-slip differential, a cat-back exhaust, and much more. With just under 56k miles showing on the odometer, this meticulously upgraded Turbo is now being offered for auction out of California.

This example was ordered in Atlas Grey Metallic and has been modified with an OEM GT3 front bumper, an OEM GT3 RS front lip, a Rennline GT3 Smile Vent Kit, OEM GT3 Cup fender flares, OEM GT2 side skirts, an Agency Power carbon fiber GT2-style rear wing, a GT2-style rear bumper, and an Agency Power carbon fiber rear diffuser. Other aftermarket equipment includes Spyder LED headlights, Motimoto LED taillights, OEM GT3 Cup side markers, Moshammer side air intake covers, EB Werks fixed wing mounts, and window tints. Accessories by Dent Solution FX include custom graphics, light wraps, a rear bumperette delete, shaved emblems, and custom logos. Additionally, MCS coilovers were fitted along with bronze-painted 19” HRE P40 center-lock wheels wrapped in Firestone Indy 500 tires. The seller states this vehicle has not been driven on a track, and detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a CARFAX report noting very minor damage in 2017.

The black interior has been customized with Tillett B5 carbon fiber bucket seats, Tillett red Alcantara seat inserts with white stitching, Tillett TR1 seat sliders, Plated Technology solid-mount seat bases, and an S•CAR•GO Racing rear seat delete. Modifications also include burnt bronze Cerakote-blasted panels, Rennline aluminum pedals, Rennline aluminum front track mats, a custom-mounted Valentine One radar detector, and a Function-First billet aluminum shift knob. Some clutch noise is noted.

The twin-turbocharged Mezger flat-six engine was modified with a 3.8-liter displacement by EvoSpec utilizing a CP forged piston & cylinder kit, Carillo H-beam connecting rods, a 10mm head stud kit, and an EvoSpec Cometic Hellfire head gasket kit. All four wheels are driven through a 6-speed manual transmission paired with a Numeric Racing adjustable short-throw shifter and a Guard Transmission 40:60 limited-slip differential. The Sport Chrono Package was factory optioned. The seller notes that the combination of the iLift chassis rigidity and MCS suspension produces strong transmission of road imperfections (jolting and noise) when the lift mode is engaged, which is intended only for low-speed surface transitions. With lift mode off, the car exhibits a “sporty” ride, tunable to balance performance and comfort. The ECU mapping, managed by Protomotive, is dynamically adjustable and currently configured conservatively for 91-octane pump gas, while offering more responsive tuning when running on E85, selectable via the fuel switch. A list of modifications is provided below:

Accelerates and handles like a fighter jet. Sale only due to need for consolidation and vehicle with mountain-focused capabilities - hoping to find next life with a passionate PCAR enthusiast. How may miles with the tunes and built motor?
@Sylverlee I can certainly compile all the invoices I have and share what my shop has on file
Bid in the amount of $65,997
@ChadGee SCARGO did not end up locating these results unfortunately, thanks for following up
@raceya1990 I hear you - could not dig up the old action videos my friend took, and didn't have an opportunity to shoot something more cinematic. Have to leave it to the imagination now, but good feedback for future.
Is there modification paperwork that comes with the car?
Assuming no compression / leak down test results will be forthcoming? GLWTA!

that isnt exactly a driving video ...... would like to see this go through all the gears and on these canyon roads

Bid in the amount of $58,500
A driving video has been added to the listing.
@Sylverlee I think given the engine upgrades, it would need a tune to run smoothly - but assume a "near stock" map could be added by Protomotive
@9secsupra - you still have time to fire sale your supra to get into this car! :-) Love me a good Supra! This Porsche is fantastic though!
Bid in the amount of $57,997
With the engine upgrades, does this car need the tune to run? Or can it run with stock tune
@loltesla Thanks!
Not sure about the weight, but believe I'd calculated weight reductions close to 300lb. The car carves canyons like a dream, and actually handles light snow quite well. Looking for utility to load up with bikes, skis, dogs, gear, etc. and clearance for deep snow / moderate off-road - was considering an RSQ8 to somewhat relieve the inevitable 911 withdrawal symptoms...
Great build! Any idea on the weight of the car with fuel?
When you say you’re looking for a mountain car does that mean a better canyon carving car or an off road/snow vehicle?
Bid in the amount of $57,000
Bid in the amount of $56,500
@Sylverlee Good spot on omission from list - I'm assuming the tail lights and 5-lug hub hardware must have never made it back from the shop years ago as I'm pretty confident I would have come across them during inventory. If they turn up in storage, I'll post an update.
@ErikLS2 That's a reasonable ask - not turning anything up in my media but I'll aim to get something up by tomorrow, stay tuned
Bid in the amount of $55,997
I know it's not listed.. but any possibility you still have the hardware to convert back to 5 lug? Also the rear taillights
Any videos coming? Preferably driving?
@Sylverlee Yes - car began idling / throttling abnormally midway through a tank of recently-filled E85, and failed to start after returning home. I had my shop investigate, and drain + clean resolved the issue. They determined it must have been an unusual "bad batch" of ethanol. No damage and has always run smoothly on pump and E85 (sourced from Propel or Pearson) in the years prior to and since that service.
Do you have any background in why the 'Fuel system was cleaned/serviced' several times and fuel tank drained in June of this year?
@Carguy19 Yes, rear seats included and will bolt-in back to original
@jaynar Yes - all OEM parts are included, wiring harnesses unmodified, so will revert back to original seat setup
Do you have the back seats to go with the cat?
I cant consider a rear seat delete car because my kids want to ride in whatever cat i buy next. Thanks and GLWTA
Bid in the amount of $55,000
If one were to put OEM seats back in would that just be a direct bolt on? Is anything missing? Original wiring harnesses still intact?
@Sylverlee I have not - but I am open to doing so if timing permits
Have you paint gauged the body to see if its all original paint? (excluding the bumpers of course)
Bid in the amount of $44,977
Bid in the amount of $40,000
@Caraddictal Yes - graphics are PPF, and clear PPF is applied alongside it on the full front (bumper, hood, fenders, lights) - all removable.
@Sylverlee Yes - the flares use factory adhesive and are removable
Can the custom graphics be removed? any PPF on the car? If there is any PPF, I assume it is over the graphics?
Are the RS front wheel archs reversible?
@Purple.helos Thanks!
Yes - the upgraded clutch / flywheel setup emits some moderate, audible chatter when clutch is depressed in gear at idle and disappears when released. It did bother me at first, but have gotten accustomed to it and am assured it's normal for the setup.
I have been contemplating selling my 1000 whp 6 speed Supra to get into a 997 turbo 6 speed. This would be a perfect fit but unfortunately, I haven't even listed the Supra yet. I guess timing is everything!
Great looking TT, great build. Can you add a bit more detail to "Some clutch noise is noted."
@Caraddictal Sure - I'm open to live meeting.
Yes, never had an issue passing smog.
@Sylverlee It has a 91 / E85 switch located in place of original cigarette lighter, but no local user interface to modify tune. I take it directly to my shop whenever it needs to be smogged and it has always passed.
Bid in the amount of $19,971
Can I come by and see the car in person?
Has the car been smogged since the all the mods have been done?
Does it come with a hand held unit to add/remove the tune setting? It prob does not pass smog with the tune or HJS cats?
@rms_9 thx saw it. For a second thought it was the after market list haha.
Indeed - should be an OEM part list at the bottom of listing (let me know if not showing on your side).
I'm based in San Francisco and car has passed California smog since 2017.
Bid in the amount of $10,000
wow this thing has alot of work done. Does it come with any stock parts?
Would you be able to smog it for a CA buyer?
Bid in the amount of $911
Many thanks! Credit to my good man Dave on the photos, he has a great portfolio (https://www.davidzahrobsky.com/Automotive)
Looks like a very nice car. Amazing pictures. Kudos to the photographer...
Thanks for your interest.
- rear bumper is OEM, with a painted EU-style license plate panel (EB Werks) mounted behind, side vents swapped for GT2-style (Moshammer), and carbon diffuser mounted on bottom
- no leak down/compression/oil analysis on hand, will reach out to my shop and post any results if available
- ~8K miles since engine-out build completed by EvoSpec / SCARGO
Any idea where the oem rear bumper ended up? Do you have any leak down/compression/oil analysis testing results? How many miles are on the engine build?
