Designated as a launch model for the new Porsche 997 Turbo, this 2007 Coupe comes finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over a black full leather interior and features a 6-speed manual transmission paired with its Mezger flat-six engine. It was purchased new by the current owner in 2006 and always maintained by the same technician from the original selling Porsche dealership. Recently treated to over $3k worth of service, this 997 Turbo launch model is now being offered for auction by its original owner out of New York showing approximately 50k miles on the odometer.
Finished in Arctic Silver Metallic, this Coupe features Turbo-specific bumpers and wide fenders with integrated side air intakes as well as a rear spoiler with a speed-activated wing. It rides on factory 19” 911 Turbo wheels dressed in Michelin Pilot Sport tires from 2016. The rear bumper was refinished by Autobahn Body Work over 10 years ago to address a scuff, and the seller notes a few minor scrapes present on the front bumper above the license plate frame. Some other minor imperfections are depicted in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report and paint meter readout from Bullfrog Auto.
The cabin is trimmed in black full leather upholstery including a matching Alcantara headliner and optional heated front seats. Driver amenities include Porsche Communication Management (PCM) with navigation, automatic climate control, an electric sunroof, and Bose sound system. Some wear is depicted on the climate control knobs and lower seat bolsters, and the seller reports CDs no longer fully eject from the head unit.
A twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter flat-six Mezger engine delivers up to 480 HP and 460 lb.-ft of torque to all four wheels by way of a 6-speed manual transmission. The car has been maintained by the same technician from the original selling Porsche dealership including a recent service totaling over $3k with a brake fluid flush, new spark plugs, a new starter motor, hood struts, door lock mechanism, hood release switch assembly, and an oil/filter change. The battery was also replaced in May of 2022. A corresponding service invoice and pre-purchase inspection are provided for reference in the gallery as well as a DME readout.
This sale will include a clean title and the original owner’s manuals.

Let’s see where this One goes. Lot of car here. I personally don’t like the flipper cars where the guy buys the car one year or less and it’s already selling it. Long term ownership means maintenance and care, short term only means making a quick buck.

@Corrado The car has never been driven in the winter. It has been driven in the spring and fall in Vermont and Upstate New York. I have a matching Cayenne S for the winters.
@luis.seneriz There is absolutely no cracking on the sidewalls whatsoever.
Has the car been winter driven?
Looks like a good amount of corrosion on the underside parts.

Seller the tires are from 2016 so that could still be ok, they are 6 years old. Do they show any cracking even if minimal on the sidewalls??

I wanted to mention that any serious bidder is welcomed to call the Technician who has cared for her since new. He can attest to the quality of use, care and service the vehicle has received since new. His name is Juan and he is with BullFrog Auto in Milton, Vermont. BullFrog is a Porsche 911 Boutique Garage who Juan recently joined after decades of service at The Automaster in Burlington, VT who was a Porsche Dealer when I bought her in 2006. BullFrog’s contact details are on the posted invoices.
@BlueDevils00 Great observation BlueDevils00! As mentioned in the description of her, “It rides on factory 19” 911 Turbo wheels dressed in Michelin Pilot Sport tires from 2016.” We tried to change the tires, unfortunately they were not available at the time of service so I listed it with the current rubber. The tires are brand new “wear wise” but older. I didn’t want to compromise and put on a subpar brand or model since it drives perfectly fine on the current tires.
Recommendation was for tires to be changed. Was that done prior to listing? Thanks.

@Mongoosedoc Great question, I absolutely love the car, tight as the day I bought it and has brought great pleasure to my life. Shifting is incredibly smooth and the acceleration is mind blowing. Her lines are so special, I think the 997 Turbo ranks right up there with some of Porsche’s finest models. A timeless design that in my opinion is more beautiful than models currently produced.
The only reason I’m selling her is that she does not get driven enough. Last year it barely left the garage, which might have something to do with the Ducati parked next to her. ??
How did you like the car?
@luis.seneriz Thank you for your question Luis. There have been Zero modifications to the car other than the application of a very high end window tint that is toward the lighter end of the scale.
Bid in the amount of $9,971
Any modifications to the car?? If it has them that’s fine for me. Thanks
Hi this is Stephen, I hope you all like my 997 Turbo and I look forward to a great auction and transaction with the new owner.
I just sold my other Porsche, a 1996 993 C4S a month ago and the buyer was extremely satisfied with the entire process and loves the car. I want you to know that I have made full disclosures about the vehicle and I am more concerned about the new owner being completely satisfied with her above all else.
A lot of research and detail went into this listing which should answer the vast majority of the questions.
Please let me know if you have any questions. I will only be able to check messages once a day, so please submit your questions as soon as possible.
Happy Bidding,
Stephen
