One of less than a thousand units reportedly sold in North America, this 2007 Porsche 997.1 GT3 features a 6-speed manual transmission connecting the driver to a naturally aspirated 3.6L flat-six Mezger engine. It was ordered in Carrara White with exclusive painted wheels over a black interior with heated leather seats, the Chrono Package, Sound Package Plus, painted door openers, and exclusive Guards Red accents. The car has also been fitted with an upgraded Fabspeed intake and exhaust, a roll bar, adjustable Rennline pedals, and a carbon fiber rear wing. Acquired by the current owner in 2016, this GT3 has been driven less than a thousand miles per year since and is now being offered for auction out of New York showing just over 25k miles on the odometer.
This GT3 comes finished in Carrara White with optional Bi-Xenon headlamps, red taillights, and black painted 19” wheels. A carbon-fiber rear wing has been fitted along with matching mirror caps. The front end is preserved under clear paint protection film and the seller reports the car has seen two outings on the track for noncompetitive driver education events. Some signs of road-going wear are reported on the nose and rear wheel arches as well as a small scrape on the lower driver's side sill. The Michelin Pilot Sport tires are dated from 2019 in the rear and 2011/2016 in the front, additional images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
Inside, you will find a black leather and Alcantara interior with optional heated leather seats, black-painted door openers, and exclusive seatbelts and instrument dials in Guards Red. A white-painted roll bar has been fitted along with a set of adjustable Rennline pedal covers. The original Porsche CDR24 stereo remains in place and the cabin is described to be in very good condition apart from some creasing on the seats and wear to the control knobs.
The naturally aspirated 3.6L flat-six Mezger engine features a two-stage resonance induction system, titanium connecting rods, and VarioCam variable valve timing. As much as 415 HP and 300 lb.-ft of torque are sent to the rear wheels by way of a 6-speed manual transmission with a locking differential. Acceleration from 0-60 MPH is achieved in approximately 4 seconds with a top speed north of 190 MPH. The factory optional Chrono Package is equipped as well as an upgraded Fabspeed air intake and exhaust system. Since 2016 within the last 5k miles, two oil changes have been completed under the owner's care along with a full service including new belts, spark plugs, oil, transmission fluid, and filters. The coil packs are recommended for replacement due to age at the next service.
This sale will include the original intake and exhaust, owner's manuals, and a clean title.

The 997.1/2 are of course the last of the Mezger engines. They’ve already achieved collector status and are iconic. Years down the road when we’re all driving electrics, they will be seen as era defining super cars.
No matter what this one sells for today, it will be worth more tomorrow. You never pay too much for these kinds of cars, you just buy them too soon. GLWA??

Getting close to end of the auction and I must say I have mixed feelings
about selling my Porsche.I believe the 997.1 gt3 is going to be one of the most collectible 911 variants . It is a pure sports car lean tight athletic.
The type of car Porsche does best. Somebody’s is going to be very happy!

@M3tro81 Hello thanks for your interest, the cage is attached to the frame of the car by the Porsche dealership when new. It is fully functional, not for show. Thanks Craig
Apologies if I missed in the write up or comments, but how is the roll bar attached to the vehicle? Pictures seem to show it just resting on the back “seats.”
@Dmart02 paint meter readings were taken by Pcar. Paint is original
I’ll see if they can post them anyway. Thanks Craig
Any chance we can get paint meter readings, please? Thank you for your time seller.
@Msweed the license plate is attached to that white stand off which is screwed to the bumper.Hope that helps. Thanks Craig
@914guitar I see them, thanks for sending. One additional question. Is the front license plate mounted to the front bumper with screws? Or is it mounted so when removed, there will be no holes in the bumper?
Additional content has been added to the listing gallery.
@kmotorcompany No haven’t pinned the coolant pipes and as far as I
know the LSD is functioning. Thanks for your interest Craig
@Msweed ok they just sent me a link let me try it thanks Mspeed
Have the water pipes been pinned or welded? Any idea if the LSD is still functional.
Beautiful car!!
@914guitar no sir, I am in Charlotte. Maybe a PCM moderators can help instruct how to add additional photos.
Bid in the amount of $50,000
@914guitar ATT. MSweed , I don’t see a provision for attaching photos to my comments . I took some pics yesterday as per your request and the spots are so faint they don’t show up . Are you anywhere near the Pcarmarket or Huntington LI.?
@glassman well good luck to you glassman!
@glassman Just saw where it said original intake and exhaust included.
very very interested.....thanx
@glassman Yes sir I have all the original exhaust and intake equipment.
Thanks so much for your interest in my beautiful car!
Looks like aftermarket headers with Cats, I may have missed that in the description.
But, will that Fabspeed intake and or the exhaust pass CA smog? or, do you have the original parts if a CA purchaser (me ?) gets it?
Mike
@Msweed Sure I’ll take pictures of those spots, not sure how to send them yet.
@914guitar can you send pics specific to the issues reported on the nose and rear wheel arches as well as a small scrape on the lower driver's side sill?
@targahawk you know Pcar took a video of me starting and throttling
the car it should be available. I’ll check thank you for your interest!
Do you have any video of the car? Cold start, walk around, etc...
@Tcockerham The clutch is original sir. Thanks for your interest.
Any service records regarding clutch replacement or service?
@Msweed it is very difficult to red line this gt3. Hence the clean DME. Beautiful car worth a lot.
@PierroW The description has been corrected, thank you.
@PierroW @PierroW. This gt3 has regular 5 lug wheels
Does the listing suggest otherwise. If so I’ll change it. Thanks for commenting it’s a great car
Beautiful, low mile example... but center lock wheels doesn't reflect in the photos.
@Msweed hello thanks for looking that car was very carefully driven and the dme report was done yesterday
Bid in the amount of $25,000
Sorry, I read it incorrectly, 855 hours. Has to be one of the cleanest reports I’ve seen.
Can we get an updated DME report? The one shown shows 47 hours.
