Now available for auction is this 2007 Porsche 997 GT3 finished in Black over a matching leather and Alcantara. This GT3 was delivered new in Ohio with factory options including Sound Package Plus, a fire extinguisher, Chrono Package, the Bi-Xenon Headlamp Package, heated Adaptive Sport Seats with Porsche Crested Headrests, the Interior Carbon Package, and Carbon Package Switch Panel. The second generation of Porsche’s GT3, the 997 version debuted in 2006 with new Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), advanced “zero lift” aerodynamics, and a new 3.6-liter Mezger engine producing over 400 HP. This 2007 example is one of less than 1,000 sold in the United States and is now being offered for auction out of New Jersey showing under 31k miles on the odometer.
This GT3 is finished in nonmetallic Black and features a GT3-specific front and rear fascia as well as a fixed rear wing that contributes to the car's “zero lift” aerodynamics. Clear paint protection film has been applied over the hood and front fenders and the front bumper may have been previously replaced or refinished according to the seller. Detailed images are provided in the photo gallery along with a clean CARFAX report. The black 19” GT3 wheels feature matching center caps and Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires.
The interior is trimmed in black leather and Alcantara accented by optional carbon fiber inlays throughout. Equipment includes heated Adaptive Sport Seats with Porsche crested headrests, Sport Chrono Package, Sound Package Plus, and Carbon Door Sill Model Insignia. Modifications include a Parrot hands-free Bluetooth module and an integrated Beltronics Model RX75 Plus radar detection system. Some minor wear is noted on the seat bolsters.
The 997 GT3 derives as much as 415 HP and 300 lb.-ft of torque from a naturally aspirated 3.6-liter Mezger flat-six engine. The rear wheels are driven through a 6-speed manual gearbox allowing acceleration from 0-60 MPH in approximately 4 seconds with a top speed of over 190 MPH. Standard performance features include a locking rear differential, traction control, Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), and vented disc brakes paired with 6-piston front and 4-piston rear clippers. A recent invoice shows more than $1,100 in service including an oil and filter change, brake fluid flush, a new air filter, cabin filter, and windshield wiper replacement.
This sale will include a clean title.

@smoothoperator713 yeah you gotta remember it's a GT3 and not just a 911.
Both gens are still holding their value regardless of what the markets do.

@smoothoperator713 You gave it a good try. Lasted longer than Carlos at the USGP..
@tangerine997 if it truely sells at this price its a steal even with the fee, but i suspect it has a reserve.

Bid in the amount of $107,250
@siliev1991
even at this price will it even meet reserve? thats my problem.
unlike a new GT3 that will do way down before it goes up in value, this here is a nice solid future investment that someone can enjoy while it increases in value. Nice job to the seller for presentation and hosting an engaging auction.
@smoothoperator713 Don't give away your limits! Im rooting for you just because I like your username!

@007bc I took closer photos which will be up momentarily showing that this appears to be the original exhuast. I also took a photo of the rear from both the front of the car and rear to try to address your questions regarding "What's goin on on the rear left with the bottom plate protectors" .... I'm not 100% sure what you are referring to with that question.
@007bc checking on this now. Stand by.
Good morning everyone and thank you to all that have submitted bids. I will be readily available throughout the day to answer any last minute questions or request. Good luck everyone!

I know you had this listed for the longest time for under 130k. I hope you have a reasonable reserve here given the market. We are all serious buyers.

@jvit27 ok my friend, I get it but what's your point?
I don't believe anyone is holding a gun to your head and forcing you to bid.
Dealer fees, auction house commission's not a plus but it goes with the territory.
Tire's not so much as that's a given if they have not been replaced.
Bid in the amount of $55,000
@Tangerine997 it's expected that a dealer will sell a car that is safe/roadworthy. Especially when they tack on an extra $799 "dealer fee" on top of the +5% winner fee since clearly no other reconditioning has been completed... to then drop a $1500 bill for new tires in the next owners lap would be more than enough to make me walk.

@Tangerine997 Thanks for visiting today and adding some comments on the vehicle for potential bidders!! Good luck if you choose to bid!
Saw this car today and met the seller who seems like a great guy to deal with.
This is a nice car that's been driven, not babied or a garage queen.
A good paint correction would serve it well and a new owner that will look after it.
The dealership itself and the inventory they have of high-end cars was very impressive.
Buy with confidence, just not a concourse GT if that's what you're looking for.
@MNGT3 they have been uploaded to the gallery. Thanks for your patience.
Paint meter readings have been added to the gallery. Please note that there is PPF on the fenders and hood of the vehicle. PPF is generally around 8mm thick which adds to the metered reading. Also, to be fully transparent, I suspect the front bumper cover was either repaired or replaced at some point as there is no PPF on the front bumper cover. The paint meter will not read thickness on a bumper due to the material they are constructed with.

@MNGT3 will be taking those today. My apologies as I've been meaning to take them however I was unexpectedly out of the office for the past couple days. Stand by.
Paint meter readings?
Bid in the amount of $39,997
NVM just saw it thanks.
Good afternoon, do you have the car fax?
any other paperwork?
I'll never understand why people looking at a car like this are concerned about production dates of the tires.
The cost of the car isn't an issue but maybe having to replace the tires is.
That should be the first thing you do when purchasing a used car unless it was done ahead of the sale. Small price to pay since they are the only component on your car that actually makes contact with the road.

Welcome to the auction of this nicely equipped 997 GT3. This is my 1st run at selling on this platform but have been a subscriber for some time now. Please feel free to reach out with any questions, comments, or requests and i'd be more than happy to reply.
@URS6 the coolant lines do not appear to have been pinned/welded.
Have the coolant lines been pinned or welded on this car? Thanks.
