Based on the 997 platform, the second-generation Porsche 911 GT3 debuted for the 2007 model year featuring a new 3.6-liter Mezger flat-six engine, Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), and high-downforce “zero lift” aerodynamics. This launch-year 997 GT3 is one of less than 1,000 examples sold in the United States and comes finished in Black over a Black Special Leather interior. It was optioned with heated seats, Sound Package Plus, the Bi-Xenon Headlamp Package, a thicker leather steering wheel, self-dimming mirrors, and a fire extinguisher. Said to have been cared for by only two prior owners, this GT3 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of New York with just over 4,600 miles showing on the odometer.
Compared to a contemporary Carrera model, the 997 GT3 features a revised front fascia with large radiator grilles and a chin spoiler as well as air scoops on the rear decklid, a fixed rear wing, and dual center-mounted tailpipes. This example is finished in Black and features an aftermarket carbon fiber nose vent, carbon fiber mirror caps, tinted taillights, red brake calipers, black exhaust tips, and gloss black-painted 19” GT3 wheels with red “GT3” logo center caps. It also comes equipped with the optional Bi-Xenon Headlamp Package. The seller describes the car to be in excellent overall condition, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
Inside, this GT3 features a Black Special Leather interior with Alcantara upholstery on the door panels, seat centers, shifter, and parking brake handle. Accessories include heated and power-adjustable Sport Seats, power windows and mirrors, an optional thicker three-spoke leather steering wheel, “GT3” logo door sills, automatic climate control, Sound Package Plus, a Porsche CD stereo, and a fire extinguisher mounted below the driver’s seat.
A naturally aspirated 3.6-liter Mezger flat-six engine delivers up to 415 HP and 300 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels by way of a 6-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Acceleration from 0-60 MPH takes place in approximately 4 seconds with a top speed of over 190 MPH. Stopping power comes from 350mm cross-drilled brake rotors paired with 6-piston calipers in front and 4-piston calipers in the rear. The seller states that the car has been kept up to date on maintenance through a Porsche dealership and the CARFAX report shows a service completed at Porsche Gold Coast in November 2021 including four new tires, a brake fluid flush, new spark plugs, replacement of the front spoiler, and an oil and filter change.
This sale will include owner’s manuals and a clean title.

@Chi_PT PPF removed by us . in doing so the front bumper required painting .
@Chi_PT Yes it has been posted
@Farmhouse27 The pertinent thing would have been to detail it before the car went up on the auction block?

Thats a nice clean DME and based on the operating hours, this car has averaged 23.5 MPH which certainly does not suggest any regular track use.

Clean DME report being uploaded as we speak
2 hours to auction end and no replies from seller. I don't get. This is how actions end RNM.
@Farmhouse27
Will DME be posted before end of auction?
Has any part of the car been repainted?
Does the car have any PPF on it?
Any story behind the quick sale from last 2 owners?
Are original parts included which were replaced with Carbon Fiber look (a stock black vent, mirrors, rear wing)?

Bid in the amount of $110,000
As far as we know there has been no track time recorded. I will try to get a DME done and post it .
How much track time has this car seen? DME please.
There are even scuffs on the side-view mirror in picture 25. The front bumper looks like it was repainted. Look at all the rock chips on the hood and elsewhere.
I suggest anyone bidding get a DME and make sure the hours on the engine match up with the mileage.
You're running a DME?
previous owner could have shown a little more care to the interior I guess . I am sure it will look better once we detail it for the new owner .
No offense but look at picture 31. Those are obvious scratches. And the seats have a lot of wear for that many miles. I've owned a few 997's including two GT3's and the wear on this car does shows little care by the previous owners.
@hsq I actually thought that I posted the driving video. we will add it later today
i will post a cold start video later today . Unfortunately it will be taken in our showroom . I will also post a couple of new pictures of the seats and console .
@TubeGuy Console and seats are perfect . As you probably know the fabric used is similar to suede . It looks different in every photo. I can assure you it is as it should be to a 15 year old 4500 mile car .

Bid in the amount of $101,000
Look at the center console in picture #31, then the seats in 39, 49, and especially 28. Maybe a really good detailing could have helped. Even the under hood #44 looks bad.
Hard to believe this could be achieved in 4600 miles.
@hsq - I always wonder what people are looking to see when they request a cold start video on a modern, fuel-injected car?
Can you post a cold start and driving video?
The new photos added show a GT3 logo now on the back, are these photos recent? If so, how old are the other photos taken on the grass and the lift photos?

Thank you for the early bidding . Yes we can run DME report. I will have to get to it Monday . We will post it . The lines have not
been pinned as far as I know .
