The second generation of Porsche’s legendary GT3 homologation sports car, the 997 version featured a more powerful 3.6-liter Mezger engine than its predecessor along with "zero lift" aerodynamic bodywork and sport-tuned active suspension (PASM). This example is one of less than 1,000 sold in the United States and comes finished in Carrara White over a Black Special Leather interior with deviated Speed Yellow stitching and matching seatbelts. It was also optioned with the Bi-Xenon Headlamp Package, heated Adaptive Sport Seats, and Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB). Having remained a part of the original owner’s extensive Porsche collection where it received an upgraded intake and exhaust system, this nicely appointed GT3 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of New York while showing under 17k miles on the odometer.
In comparison to a contemporary Carrera model, the 997 GT3 receives a unique front fascia with additional air outlets in the nose as well as a fixed rear wing and a vented rear bumper with dual center-exit tailpipes. This GT3 is finished in Carrara White with Speed Yellow ceramic brake calipers and silver 18” GT3 wheels dressed in new Michelin Pilot Sport tires. The seller notes the car was recently detailed and is preserved by a layer of 3M paint protection film. One small stone chip is present on the lower front spoiler as well as imperfections on the plastic front lip, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin is trimmed in Black Special Leather and Alcantara upholstery with optional deviated stitching and seatbelts in Speed Yellow. Factory features include optional self-dimming mirrors and an integrated rain sensor, automatic climate control, a power tilt/slide sunroof, and a sound system with a Porsche CDR24 radio.
Rated at 415 HP, and 300 lb.-ft of torque when new, the naturally aspirated 3.6-liter Mezger flat-six engine drives the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. An upgraded GMG exhaust system and K&N air intake have been installed, and the original intake is said to accompany the sale as well. A full service was recently completed by Speedsport Tuning of Danbury, Connecticut, and the seller notes the oil was changed annually while in the original owner’s collection.
This sale will include the original window sticker, owner’s manuals, the factory intake, and a clean title.

I’d like to thank everyone for the kind comments and bids.
I hope this amazing car finds a new home today.
Finding a one owner no story 997.1 GT3 in great colors with the right options is not easy and getting harder every day.
Don’t let this car be the one you say “ I should have bought it “.
You will not be disappointed. It has just been fully detailed, serviced and it’s ready to go.
Spring is here and it’s time to get out and drive.
Good luck to all.

@carolinaguy99 I have just uploaded a copy of the original window sticker which I have. It lists all the options. The 997 GT3 cars did not come with an options sticker on the underside of the front deck lid.
I will shoot photos of the trunk area later today.
Additional content has been added to the gallery for this listing.
@carolinaguy99 I will shoot those photos tomorrow. The car comes with two keys and books.
The original owner did the maintenance himself and I do not believe the coils or plugs were changed.
I brought the car to Speedsport for the recent service and all needs have been addressed. New TPMS sensors were installed and all fluids were changed. New tires installed and they were high speed balanced.
@DriverM yes was specifically talking about the frunk area and option sticker on the underside, etc.
Also I may have missed it but how many keys, is the window sticker and owners manuals included and any history of replacement spark plugs or coils?
@carolinaguy99 There are already photos of the underside and interior posted if you scroll down. I did forget to post frunk photos and will do that tomorrow.
Let me know if you need anything else.
Can the seller please post pictures of the frunk open, under side and showing the interior of it please?
The 2 ea 997 GT3 and 1 GT3 RS - were, by far, the best cars I've ever owned. Now, I never driven a 996, or 991 or 992 GT cars (but I do have a 991 C2S currently) but I think the 997 is the sweet spot (with the 4L being the pinnacle)
Buy with confidence, if you don't like it I'll buy it from you (and figure out the garage space later.
The steering is incredible, the sound is amazing, the reliability - well, it's a Porsche. Enjoy!

@TheFrizWiz I purchased @TheFrizWiz GT3 and it has been incredible! I hope whoever picks this up drives it and enjoys it. The sounds at 7-8k plus are incredible and the pops/engine noise of the Mezger are truly of a racecar. Small, nimble, insane road feel and plenty of space for road trips.
A Complete & total GEM !
My best guest price guess having sold one quite similar ?
$150K LOW - $160K HIGH
Paint meter photos have been added. Please remember, the nose is covered with PPF so it will read higher It's ALL ORIGINAL PAINT........
Looks like the car was posted on hunting ridge motors at one point for 175k - I assume their reserve price is somewhere around there.

Stunning! A true future classic. Will be interesting to see where the auction closes.
Bid in the amount of $86,000
Bid in the amount of $85,250
@ratso70 Yes. I actually sent results to Pcar. Perhaps they can post the. The nose reads higher due to the POF but I guarantee it’s all original paint.
Bid in the amount of $85,000
Hi...have you checked the car over with a paint meter or representing it as never having had any paintwork? Thanks!
@Gottwins94 Just the nose.
Just an update. So the whole car has PPF or just the front?
Bid in the amount of $75,250
@s1ck911 Please email directly and I'd be glad to answer any question to the best of my ability. Pcar can provide my direct e mail. It's also pretty easy to look up my company and get my contact info.
@DriverM can you please contact me directly here or on insta (same login on both platforms). It turns out that I own the car that you've sold here on pcarmarket and got some questions. Would much appreciate DM. Thank you!
@Cozad1955 My pleasure.
@DriverM Thanks. I see the DME report now.
@Cozad1955 Zero track use. The DME is posted along with the service records.
The car has ZERO OVER REVS in any range.
The car has no needs at all and was just serviced. All it needs is a new owner and the correct bid.
How did you use the car? Track, DME? Have you done any service on the PCCB?
My absolute dream car. Perfect spec right down to the PCCB’s and yellow stitching. And a one-owner car. Mezger’s forever….
Love the yellow accents and ceramic brakes!
