Sporting Arctic Silver Metallic paint over a Stone Grey interior, this 2007 Porsche 997 Carrera S Cabriolet was configured at an original sticker price of over $101k with optional 19” Carrera Classic wheels, Sport Chrono Package Plus, the Bose High-End Sound Package, and a 6-speed manual transmission. Recently serviced and with just over 17k miles showing on the odometer, this Carrera S is being offered for auction by its seller out of Florida.
This 997 comes finished in Arctic Silver Metallic with a black cabriolet top, optional 19” Carrera Classic wheels with colored center crests, and red brake calipers as standard on the Carrera S. The Bridgestone Potenza tires are dated from 2015 and the seller notes a crack on the driver’s side front bumper as well as some paint chips around the car. The rear quarter panel and driver’s side front fender were previously refinished, and the CARFAX shows an accident reported in 2007. Additional images are provided in the gallery along with the full CARFAX report.
The Stone Grey standard leather interior features optional heated and power operated front seats, the Bose High-End Sound Package, self-dimming mirrors, and PCM with Navigation. The cabin is said to remain in very good condition with all gauges and accessories working properly.
The rear wheels are driven by way of a 6-speed manual transmission paired with a naturally aspirated 3.8-liter flat-six engine producing up to 355 HP and 295 lb.-ft of torque. The CARFAX report shows 20 maintenance history records including a recommended service, inspection, and oil change in January of 2022.
This sale will include a clean title.

We have a certified Porsche technician onsite vehicle is a good car and I am posting DME report now vehicle is from a customer who maintained the vehicle. This is a great opportunity to own a low mileage 911 Cabrio 6 Spd Manual
@155MPH A PPI by a certified Porsche mechanic might offer a lot of peace of mind (including a DME report). Probably too late for that though.
I get really nervous about cars with a history that isn't well documented. Engine removed but not sure why. Battery 1 year old but replaced. Accident with no explanation. This is either a good opportunity to get a low mileage car that will give you years of enjoyment OR a trip down the rabbit hole.
@SiA70 I could be wrong but I was under they impression it was 2009 and earlier
Is the IMS bearing able to be replaced on this model year? I might be wrong, but thought that the IMS issue ended on engines built in 2005?
@jflatow61 I could not confidently answer the question why they would remove engine maybe to do IMS bearing possibly and as far as accident seems to have been on drivers side according to paint meter readings. Rear quarter panel and drivers fender read higher readings.
Good Morning. Can you tell us more about the accident and also about why the “engine was removed to complete repair” in 2010 as shown in the carfax report?
