Finished in Carrara White over a Sand Beige interior, this 2007 Porsche 997 Carrera S Coupe is equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission paired with its 3.8-liter flat-six engine. It came factory-equipped with optional heated Adaptive Sport Seats, Sport Chrono Package Plus, stainless-steel exhaust pipes, 5mm wheel spacers, and self-dimming mirrors. This 997 was originally sold in California and had been carefully maintained by its previous owner in Florida before the seller’s recent acquisition. Showing approximately 50k miles on the odometer, this Carrera S is now being offered for auction out of Pennsylvania.
This 997 is finished in Carrara White. Features include model designation decals on the doors, black rear stone guard decals, bi-xenon headlights, painted headlamp cleaner covers, fog lights, an electric sunroof, self-dimming power mirrors, a speed-activated rear spoiler, a red “S” badge, stainless-steel exhaust pipes, and red Porsche-branded brake calipers. The factory 19” Carrera S “lobster claw” wheels are fitted with colored Porsche crest center caps and optional 5mm rear spacers. The Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires were manufactured in 2024 and have approximately 6/32” and 8/32” of tread depth at the front and rear, respectively. The seller states the car was garage-kept by the previous owner, and the exterior remains very well presented. Noted imperfections include a small chip on the front bumper beneath the lower edge and a minor rub mark on one of the wheels. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The Sand Beige interior features optional heated Adaptive Sport Seats, a three-spoke leather steering wheel, and an Alcantara headliner. Accessories include black carpet floor mats, a remote central locking system, a driver information display, a Sport Chrono dashboard stopwatch, automatic climate control, cruise control, Porsche Communication Management (PCM), and an aftermarket magnetic phone mount. The seller notes typical signs of wear, including a small imperfection near the headlight switch. All gauges and accessories are said to be working properly.
Rated at 355 HP and 295 lb-ft of torque, the naturally aspirated 3.8-liter flat-six engine features integrated dry sump lubrication, VarioCam Plus variable valve timing, and a two-stage resonance induction system. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transaxle. Standard equipment includes Porsche Stability Management (PSM), Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), and 13” cross-drilled rotors with fixed 4-piston calipers at each corner. This example is also equipped with the optional Sport Chrono Package Plus, which enables a sport drive mode. The seller notes that an oil change was recently performed.
This sale will include a clean title.

@GT3forme Yes mentioned and discussed below:
The IMS is non-servicable on the 2007 without an entire engine tear down. With it being that level of service it is not common to find late 997.1 3.8l M97 engines with this work already done. If it was an early 05 it’s possible, but not his particular car. The oil service was performed but an oil sample was not gathered. The oil was not of any sorts of condition that alarmed or prompted an oil analysis. As for Bore scoring we did not perform that on this car. It has no smoke on start up, no tick at idle cold or warm.

Yes, just went ahead and verified everything myself. All buttons and functions are operational!
@bjj_munkey
No there is no reserve met alert. Unless the seller specifically says it in a post. Sometimes sellers do, but the vast majority don’t.
Thank you, seller. But do you know of anything that is not operational? i.e. lights, gauges, electrical components?
etc. Thanks again.

@Porsche12
Thank you for the kind words on our 997 — we’re proud to offer it!
While we can’t speak to the exact decision-making of the previous owner, it’s our understanding that services like these are often recommended based on mileage or time intervals. In this case, we believe they were likely advised based on time rather than mileage. Either way, it's a positive sign!
Regarding the shop rate: the $65/hour you saw listed is our internal labor rate. Our retail rate for customer work is different! We have a full-service shop attached to the dealership, and we’re always happy to provide estimates or handle work on your Porsche — including this one, if you end up winning it!
Let us know if you have any other questions — happy to help!

Really nice 997. I see a 60,000 mi service at 36,000 mi. Not that it's a bad thing but any reason why?

Thank you all for checking out our listing! I wanted to take a moment to respond to the comments so far:
@spring2010
“Back in the day” is all about perspective—maybe for you that’s the ’50s or ’60s lol!
What we meant is that stereo installs have come a long way since using pieces of wood to mount components. While we wouldn’t build something this way ourselves, we chose to leave it as-is so the next owner can decide whether to return it to stock or refine what the previous owner was going for.
3dog12265 (can only mention 3 members at once)
Totally agree—that’s exactly why we left it untouched. It’s a clean slate for the next owner to take in either direction.
@Roohark
Yes! We’ll be uploading a cold start video later today. Keep an eye on the gallery.
@inperioncars
We’ve done our best to show everything clearly in the photos. If preferred, the frunk and stereo setup can be reverted to stock to regain space.
The seatbelts are fully functional and will pass inspection—we would never list a vehicle with unresolved safety issues!
Thank you for all your comments and questions! There is about 5 hours left, don't miss out on a great driver's 911!
Happy bidding!

“It was common practice to use wood for things like amps and subs to be installed back in the day.”
Back in what day? This car was built in 2007, not the fifties or sixties. Nothing to distract from the car, it’s easy to tidy up the amp installation. Just a disappointing comment by the seller.
@Inperioncars Agreed. That installation is hideous. Nothing that someone handy with a few tools couldn't fix.
@PAEuros will a cold start video be uploaded soon? I see three videos were added recently (thank you, that’s helpful) but I don’t see one done in the traditional manner with the camera focused on the exhaust after the engine is shown to be cold with IR gun/hand on intake manifold/etc. thanks.
Bid in the amount of $14,150
How much damage is done to the frunk with the amplifiers. ? Any wholes, or cuts in the carpet or plastic?
I’m asking to determine how easy is to turn it back to stock.
Besides de poor installation, the amplifiers take some usable space
Another question is about seatbelts can you confirm all of them work correctly?

@Regrets My apologies. I actually misspoke. When we got the car originally the speakers didn't work. I took it to Modern Elix in West Chester, PA. They have a stereo guy that does their in house work. They say the install of the amp was not correct and got the system working with the current amps. When I picked up the car they mentioned the sub wasn't working. But I just went to the car to verify and realized this is not a BOSE car and it doesn't have an external subwoofer. I verified all speakers are working. Nothing is blown and they all have sound output.
It is wood supporting the one amp. I can't speak on the install as we didn't do it here. However it is working and it is something we thought we would leave for the next owner if they wished to change up. I am also not sure of the age of the stereo or install. It was common practice to use work for things like amps and subs to be installed back in the day. I am not saying I like it or would have done this but it is there.
We didn’t get a lot of records from the previous owners. We went ahead and ran the car through our shop and performed an oil service, fixed a door handle, had a third party fix the speakers, replaced the serp belt, a trunk/frunk switch panel and a couple other items. I will post that service invoice in the gallery.

Don’t hesitate to bid! This is a great opportunity to get into a driver condition 997 C2S with good options and decent mileage.
Bid in the amount of $12,000
@PAEuros Good looking car. I have a couple questions...
1. In your last reply, you stated that the stereo setup is "mostly working" and that was the reason not to alter the amplifier setup. Are there components that aren't fully operational? If so, which ones?
2. It was a bit hard to tell from the pictures, but is that a piece of lumber holding up what appears to be a secondary amplifier?
3. I looked at the CarFax and there doesn't appear to be any maintenance records in the past 3 years / 10k miles. Do you have any paper work from the previous owner?
4. Any record of IMS retrofit, bore scope, Blackstone (or other) oil analysis?
@PAEuros. thx, was hoping it was in lower NY to get a look.
@Hammertime Good Monday morning Pcar! Welcome to the auction of our 997 C2S. This car was purchased out of a private garage in FL who has owned it since 2021 and now looking for a new home!
Great drivers car with sport seats, our favorite part about the car!
Please reach out using the contact seller button or comment and we will do our best to answer any questions you may have.
@Guyc2 This was an error in the listing description and has been corrected. The car is offered for sale in Exton, PA. This car has only ever been a CA and FL car. No signs of NY use or ownership.
@Hammertime This radio has been modified with some upgrade amps and speaker. We don't have documentation on this install but it could have been from a faulty OEM amp and the owner opted to upgrade. It could be cleaned up a bit and since it is mostly working we elected to not alter it.
