@CBRacerX Ah! Thank you for the clarification. Yes, that is what was done.
@VertexAuto I'm familiar with the "boring in place" method for the later M97 engines where the engine case is enlarged to pull (and put) the larger bearing. The part number on the repair receipt didn't reflect that version, but if that was what was done then there you go :)

@luis.seneriz I just submitted pics of the front & rear tires. They both have very good thread left. DME report is next.
@jeffsnavely I just submitted pics of the pads and rotors. They both look great. I would say about 70% left of pads.

@GT3-guy @CBRacerX The car still has it's original engine. The IMS was replaced using the EPS Eternal IMS Solution. This IMS bearing can be installed with the engine open OR closed. You can read about it more here - https://www.europeanpartssolution.com/porsche-ims-bearing-upgrade-kit-m97-closed-engine

@CBRacerX ohhhh I see…. Chit have some more coffee lmao… I follow, sorry
@GT3-guy since we don’t have the full maint history it’s entirely possible that this engine was replaced with an earlier M97. The engine number could be researched with a certificate of authenticity to find out if that occurred.
@CBRacerX never heard of that on anything after 2005.5 nor do I agree with it
@VertexAuto I know it is the last day, but didn't see an overrev report from the DME in the gallery.
@GT3-guy This is the part from the invoice. It isn't for the later M97 engine with the encapsulated bearing - only the early type which is seen on the 2005, some 2006 and apparently on some 2007 models if it was fitted here!

What is the brake pad thickness for F & R?
@Quackbury Not sure if I’m missing something about the motor work done, but you cannot replace an IMS bearing on the M97 motors.. these can only be replaced by a full motor tear down…

@luis.seneriz Let me look into both of these. Thank you!
@Koolbilly123 Thank you! It looks like Carfax is listing two separate "minor" incidents. They both happened prior to my customer's ownership so I'm not aware of the details. Just what Carfax is listing which looks to be just minor dents or scratches. Examples of minor damages as interpreted by Carfax includes scuffs, small bumps, dents, or broken side mirrors and headlights. I got this directly from the Carfax website about "minor" damage.
"When considering a damage report, it’s important to remember that minor damage may be only cosmetic; it may be noted that way in the Carfax report."
I hope this info helps. Wish I had more details. Thanks again!

Any idea how much thread is left on the tires?? Are you going to post a Dme report with over revs?

@Quackbury The only evidence of any brake service was a brake system check at a Porsche dealer at 121,061 miles. I've driven the car and the brakes, steering and suspension feel and function as should.
No signs of road rash nor too many chips. I uploaded a video. Hopefully, you can see just how nice the paint is on the video. I also uploaded paint meter readings all the way around the car. Hood is a little bit higher than the rest of the car but still at about 6 mil.
Detailed seat bolster pics have been submitted and should be up any minute now.
Seat belt detractors are holding up very well. The passenger side looks to be a bit more faded. We uploaded a pic of both.
A/C is blows very cold. I uploaded a pic showing the outside temperature at 97 degrees and the A/C bowing at 56 degrees.
Thank you.
@PAEuros We just submitted some close up pictures of the driver's side bolster area. Not sure what are you are referring to when you say "the side skirts behind the rear wheels". Would something like pic 50 in the gallery but closer work? Thanks!
Can we get the options list?
Bid in the amount of $997
@Quackbury #repainted. Not "repeated". Sorry. Fat fingers, tiny keyboard and overzealous spell checker at work.
Kudos for all the motor work. Though waiting till 100k miles on the IMS and A/O was rolling the dice a bit.
What about brakes and suspension? Last replacement of rotors, pads, struts, bushings, steering bits, etc.
How much road rash after 120,000 miles? (I'm viewing on my phone and its hard to tell). PPF? Have hood and front bumper been repeated? And I second the request for pics of the seat bolsters.
How are the seat belt detractors holding up? Does the A/C blow cold?
Thank you.
Could I please see close up pictures of the driver’s side seat bolster area? Also, close up pictures of the side skirts behind the rear wheels? Thanks.
