This 2007 Porsche 997 Carrera 4S Cabriolet is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over a black leather interior and features a 6-speed manual transmission sending power to all four wheels from a 3.8-liter flat-six engine. It commanded an original sticker price of over $112k including optional Sport Chrono Package Plus, supple leather seat upholstery, the Power Seat Package, Bose High-End Sound Package, metal door sills with model insignias, aluminum shifter and handbrake trim, stainless-steel exhaust pipes, and auto-dimming mirrors. The car also features a matching removable hardtop, bi-xenon headlamps, updated LED taillights, and aftermarket 19” wheels. Showing approximately 102k miles on the odometer, this C4S Cabriolet is now being offered for auction out of California
The Carrera 4S model is distinguished from a standard 997 Carrera by its wider rear fenders and red brake calipers. This example is finished in Arctic Silver metallic with a black power-operated convertible top and a removable painted hardtop. Equipment includes bi-xenon headlights, fog lights, clear side marker lenses, heated power mirrors, 997.2-style LED taillights, a speed-activated rear spoiler, and optional stainless-steel quad exhaust tips. The car rides on aftermarket 19” wheels paired with 5mm spacers in front, 15mm spacers at the rear, and General G-Max tires dated from 2021. The seller describes the car to be in very good overall condition, although some minor scrapes and paint chips around the exterior. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report
The black interior features optional heated power-adjustable seats in supple leather upholstery, a leather-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel, an optional aluminum-trimmed shifter and handbrake lever, metal door sills with model insignias, and a Sport Chrono dashboard stopwatch. Other equipment includes auto-dimming mirrors, automatic climate control, cruise control, the Bose High-End Sound Package, and Porsche Communication Management (PCM) with navigation. The seller notes the tire pressure monitoring sensor is not working on the rear driver’s side wheel.
Rated at 355 HP and 295 lb.-ft of torque, the naturally aspirated 3.8-liter flat-six engine drives all four wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission. The car is equipped with the optional Sport Chrono Package Plus which includes a sport mode button and adjustable stiffness for the Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) dampers. The seller indicates an oil change was recently completed along with the replacement of the coolant expansion tank. Minor seepage is noted from the rear shock boots.
This sale will include owner’s manuals, a toolkit, a tire inflator, and a clean title.

Good morning. Is the spot on the roof a scuff or a tear? Does it leak at that spot? I know you recently acquired the car, but does it have any smell that it has been smoked in. Are any of the knobs "sticky". Thank you in advance, beautiful car!
Does anyone out there know what a 100K service typically costs from a certified Porsche repair shop?

@TILLMAN67 I have a private delership license. I purchased the car from a dentist in Montana and drove it to california. I have had it since then.

Carfax says “no records since 4/12/2021 - in Montana” - then goes on to suggest asking current owner for updated service receipts. Do you have any, please? How did we get from Montana to “Norco, CA?”

@Cayenne71 No IMS issues with this engine code. It's the larger bearing according to Porsche techs and the interweb research I've done. I have not scoped the engine. It does not burn oil, does not smoke, and runs strong.
IMS Bearing? Have the cylinders been checked for bore scoring?
@TILLMAN67 I have maintained oil changes. I have not done a 100k service. I did change the coolant tank.
@TILLMAN67 The top does not grind when opening or closing. It is smooth. The hardtop "creaks" when going over angles like driveways due to body flex but the hardtop does not squeek or rattle during normal driving.
Does the top rattle at all when driving? Grind when lowering or raising? If I missed it I’m sorry - but what about the 100k service? Any red flags?
