This 2007 Porsche 997 Carrera 4 Coupe comes finished in Meteor Grey Metallic over a Stone Grey standard leather interior and features a 6-speed manual transmission paired with its naturally aspirated flat-six engine. This 997 was also optioned with the Bi-Xenon Headlamp Package, Power Seat Package, heated front seats, the Bose High-End Sound Package, and more. Accompanied by a pre-purchase inspection report and detailed CARFAX report, it is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Indiana while showing approximately 69k miles on the odometer.
The Carrera 4 showcases wider rear bodywork in comparison to the standard Carrera. This example comes finished in Meteor Grey Metallic and rides on 5-spoke Carrera III wheels dressed in Continental tires from 2021. Additionally, the Bi-Xenon Headlamp Package was opted for along with a rear window wiper and a model designation deletion. Additional images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The driver is situated within a Stone Grey standard leather interior featuring a power-operated sunroof. Optional equipment includes heated front seats, the Power Seat Package, the Bose High-End Sound Package, and black floor mats with Porsche lettering. The seller notes slight wear on the top of the shifter.
Power is derived from a 3.6-liter flat-six engine, generating up to 345 HP and 288 lb.-ft of torque to all four wheels through a desirable 6-speed manual transmission. Acceleration from 0-60 MPH can be achieved in under 5 seconds, and standard performance features include VarioCam variable valve timing, a two-stage resonant induction system, an Active Braking Differential (ABD), and fixed 4-piston brake calipers paired with cross-drilled rotors. The seller adds that the clutch was replaced in 2023 by an authorized Porsche dealer, and a pre-purchase inspection report is provided in the gallery. The CARFAX report shows a total of 43 service history records dating back to March 2007.
This sale will include a clean title, owner’s manuals, a toolkit, a car cover, service documentation, and a pre-purchase inspection report.
The seller would like you to know: “Thank you for your interest. This vehicle has been well maintained with a complete service history from all three owners available. Work has been done at Porsche dealerships. The car is completely stock with a brand-new clutch installed this year. It has the rear wiper and Bose High-End Sound package.”

Wow. Personally I think that’s a pretty good price for low mileage and new clutch. Especially in that condition and color

@twickes40 my wife confirmed. No puddles or active drips.
@zigman surface rust on tank and exhaust. It is the normal mechanical areas. No penetrating rust on body or frame.
What is the extent of the rust issues reported in the PPI, photo #63?
Thanks @seller. Appreciate that.
@twickes40 I am waiting for my wife to get back to the house to verify. It has been sitting in my garage for two weeks and I do not believe there are any active leaks or puddling. I want her to verify for me. I believe the PPI was indicating moist areas but not an active drip. I will reply when she verifies for me.

Just finished reading he PPI. How bad is the oil and coolant leak?
Bid in the amount of $19,500
@Jwkjr1 I'd much rather the car have the original IMS bearing than the retrofit. The LN bearings fail more often than oem ones, and it is hidden by rennlist(since LN sponors the site).
Bid in the amount of $16,997
@211Broadway Thank you for the insight.
If the IMS has not failed at this many miles it's likely it never will. Also, chances are the car has the larger IMS installed which has a very, very low failure rate....less than 1%
IMS retrofit ??
@John.Wade thank you very much
@Steveduva There are no scratches on the back bumper by the right rear taillight or on the motor cover. I looked again this morning with a light at different angles to make sure I was not missing something.
Would appreciate comments from others with more experience, as I live in the dry west, about amount of undercarriage rust on this car. Thanks
Does the back bumper by the right rear taillight have scratches on it also motor cover hard to tell from pictures thanks !!
Thank you!
@E83425 Images of the PPI paperwork have been added to the listing gallery.
@E83425 it was uploaded but must not have posted. I will get that online for you.
Could you please share the PPI report you had done. Unless I’m missing it, I don’t see it posted. I only see the Carfax. Thanks.
@John.Wade no problem. My condolences on your friend’s passing. It’s a nice car.
@Gooner99 Those is the data that was supplied. I am not an expert either and am selling this for a friend who passed away for his mom. I have the giant folder of information he left with it and am just going off that data. Sorry I cannot be more help.
Good to see a well maintained car that has been enjoyed. I’m no expert, but is the stated 345 horsepower and 288 lb ft torque rating correct? I thought the official numbers are slightly lower for a stock 997.1 C4.
