@Dupla IMS after 2005 is a non issue.
The fact that it had so many mods. and its not an S, that's a decent price. With all the work that was done to it I'm surprised that they didn't do the IMS bearing. That's a M96 like the 996s, so the IMS should've been done when they replaced the clutch.
I didn't mind the mods. the only thing that I didn't like was that the IMS wasn't replaced.
@YGOSLO It was listed in Rennlist for 60k OBO a few weeks ago. Surprised the reserve was so low.
Wow!! $43K!?! Headed back towards 2019 pricing!
I feel like that went pretty for realistic money. Has the descent begun?

@Selo Hello again! You are absolutely correct, I have never had it on a dyno. As for acceleration, there is a notable difference and you can feel the power in the torque. Just by talking to local shops and other enthusiasts, their humble guess in horsepower with the mods is about 375 to possible just under 400. I really wished you could test drive this car and feel the power for yourself;)
@EQM Thank you for your response. Since I don't see mention of a dyno, I'm assuming it hasn't been done. What does the acceleration feel like when you get on it, and what is the new redline?
@Selo I am an enthusiast, specially with Porsches. I had no intentions of bringing my car to the track. I just wanted to add a bit more power with bolt on parts and programming the ECU, all for good fun. I did the same thing with my last Porsche Cayman (added the plenum, throttle body, intake system, bolt on exhaust and programmed the ECU). I don't think I will ever grow up when it comes to adding a little power to my cars.
Was the car modded with track use in mind? If so, how much track time did the car see?
Hello bidders! Here's an opportunity to own a well tuned/modded 997.1! I would like to see this beautiful machine go to a well deserved home and to someone who will enjoy and appreciate it for years! Please do not miss out on this! Happy bidding and good luck!
@ronS12 Hi Ron, I forgot to mention that I do have the original deck lid.
This is an extremely well sorted example, by a true enthusiast. No question marks on this build, the buyer (I wish it could be me) will be getting a dream of a car.
@Bahnburner Yes, this vehicle passes with flying colors with the IPD Competition plenum ,82mm throttle body and the programmed ECU. I have the stock file and the programmer. And yes, the exhaust system is a bolt on to the cat.
@EQM will the car pass smog as-is with the plenum, throttle body and ECU mods? I assume the exhaust is cat-back?
@ronS12 Hi Ron, as soon as I get home after 7 p.m tonight, I will take some videos and have the moderator post them for your review. Thank you.

Bid in the amount of $9,900
@eqm She is presented very nicely. Do you have the original deck lid? Please post a video of the sunroof operating. Also some underbody photos will be nice to have.
@Mongoosedoc Yes, I a sunroof on this vehicle. As for the IMS/RMS, Porshce upgraded and revised the IMS and fixed this issue with the 997.1. RMS issues only happen when your vehicle is not drives and the RMS dries up if the vehicle is not driven or started. Other than that, this vehicle is mechanically sound and does not have any issues.
Looks like it has a sunroof?
@EQM awesome just saw that has the clutch RMS and IMS benn done?
@paulstokle For clarification, that was a misprint on their part when the posted the ad. Thank you for letting me know. I will have this corrected as well.
@paulstokle I can have the moderator post the pictures of the hood and the driver side door edge (my apologies, I thought I included them with the submission). I made no mention of wear on any of the seats. The seats are in very great condition and no tears. If you can provide me with your email, I can send the pictures to you directly. Kindly let me know, thanks.
@Mongoosedoc Yes, the seats are heated.
Heated seats?
Can you please provide pictures of the wear and tear in the listing regarding the hood, driver's door edge and seat. A few questions: The vehicle listing indicates you bought it from the original owner so why are there 3 owners on the carfax? Do the original components that have been modified come with the car? How old are the tires? Thanks
This is a very beautiful car! It is truly a performance vehicle and nicely modded! The seller was very patient with me and answered all my questions. I may consider purchasing this for myself!
@stephenolitsky Not the original window sticker but the build sheet. I added the front lip and the rear deck lid spoiler. The rear deck lid was installed and painted by a local body shop. As for engine performance, I installed myself the IPD Competition plenum, GT3 Bosch 82 mm throttle body which is the same as the factory installed throttle body on stock GT3's, a Schnell bolt on exhaust system and programmed ECU which I also performed myself. I will include the programmer with the sale of the vehicle. Oh, also in the description is the upgraded stereo system I had installed by my local professional audio shop. Please feel free to contact me with any other questions.
Do you have an original window sticker? What are aftermarket parts or dealer installed parts? For example, is this a factory Aerokit on the car?
I have seen and been on a test drive in this vehicle.
It runs super clean and you can definitely feel the performance.
If I had the money I would definitely purchase.
Whoever purchases this vehicle will not be disappointed.
