Equipped with a naturally aspirated flat-six engine, a 6-speed manual transmission, and mechanical power steering, this 2007 Carrera offers a visceral driving feel characteristic of the 997 generation. It comes finished in Meteor Grey Metallic over a black interior and features optional heated seats, 19” Carrera S wheels, Sport Chrono Package Plus, and the Bose High-End Sound Package. The car had been with its second owner since 2013 and is now being offered for auction by its seller out of New Jersey showing approximately 29k miles on the odometer.
This Coupe is finished in Meteor Grey Metallic and rides on optional 19” Carrera S wheels with colored Porsche crest center caps and Michelin Pilot Sport tires (4716). Equipment includes a speed-activated rear spoiler, an electric sunroof, bi-xenon headlamps, integrated fog lights, and dual exhaust outlets. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with paint meter readings and a clean CARFAX report.
The black standard leather interior includes the optional Power Seat Package, heated front seats, Bose High-End Sound Package, automatic climate control, and Porsche Communication Management (PCM) with navigation. The optional Sport Chrono Package also adds a stopwatch dial to the center dashboard. Some wear is noted on the outer driver’s seat and inner passenger seat bolster.
As much as 325 HP and 273 lb.-ft of torque are sent to the rear wheels from a 3.6-liter flat-six engine paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. The Carrera accelerates from 0-60 MPH in less than 5 seconds while stopping power comes from fixed 4-piston brakes paired with cross-drilled rotors at each corner. Some maintenance history is provided on the CARFAX report and the seller states an oil change and full inspection were recently completed in preparation for sale.
This sale will include a clean title.

@Michaelmotorcar Except that without a DME there is no way to know whether or not it was molested. One money shift is all it takes.
But it looks like you've found a buyer, so good luck meeting your reserve. It sure is a pretty car, with or without a DME.
I disagree with quakbury comment. I would rather a non molested perfect car then a track car.
This is a babied car , not a track car , this I have personally driven , I own many Porsches , I promise the next owner to be beyond pleased.

@Michaelmotorcar Too bad about the missing DME. But this and the other auction sites are very quiet this week and my guess is this will wind up in the Deal Tank. If so, you'll have time to get one for the serious buyers.
My sentiment is the polar opposite of yours. If a car has seen track duty, I'm going to assume the owner is competent with a 6MT.
The cars I worry about were owned by someone with more suspect heel-and-toe skills: the orthodontist who bought one as his midlife crisis toy; the new retiree who always wanted to have a Poorsh. The silly rich foreign student whose daddy bought him one to attend uni in the USA. Those are the drivers most likely to have a money shift, and I think a DME should be expected on any manual Porsche, BMW or the like.
Stunning example from a great seller. Ive seen the car in the flesh, its nicer than the photos can capture. GLWA
@Dnland again I never really figured anybody would care on a base c2. I guess it’s my bad. But again this is just one of those amazing perfect cars. Again my apologies for not getting one. Never planned on putting on pcarmarket as this came out of the blue with the rep calling me last week. Car is a stud. I will all good luck bidding!
"@scott740 sorry don’t have a dme and only a few hours to go will be impossible to get one , please keep in mind this car was owned by a much older gentleman and we have driven the car. This is a babied car. Again sorry we never even thought to get one on a non race or turbo"
@MichaelMotorCar
A DME report was requested in the last auction when this car was listed in over on BAT. Maybe next time you'd consider getting one. Very common request on any P car auction.
Bid in the amount of $35,000
Great car and a great seller! Can't miss!
Absolutely stunning!
Low miles, great options and wonderful presentation. GLWS
Such a classic color on the Uber reliable 997! And manual.
This is a life time car!
I want to thank all the wonderful commenters. Sorry for the typo.
Welcome to the final day of this wonderful auction of our beautiful 911 six speed coupe . I want to wish everyone good luck bidding. I don’t want to thank all the wonderful commenters. It has been a pleasure. I hope to congratulate a new owner later on today.
The meteoric rise of many of these mid ranged sports cars is about to come to an abrupt end.
Beautiful car!

@michaelmotorcar Would you be able to post a DME report?
Bid in the amount of $30,250
@JakeH sharing an article written by the guys who have put their kids and then some through college on fear mongering is hardly authoritative. To do this without doing or needing a clutch is not "proactive" it is "reactive". For peace of mind or resale value, go for it when the clutch is due, otherwise you're just drinking the koolaid.
Great article on IMS and years and probability.

@dwagner275 sorry no ppf, but man its perfect with no stone chips

997's getting a lot of deserved attention as of late in magazines and videos. Looks great with the Lobster claws. Timing is everything on this site. GLWA.
