We are pleased to present this 2007 Porsche 997 Carrera 4S Coupe finished in GT Silver Metallic over a black interior with leather Sport Seats. As the last 911 generation offered with hydraulic power steering, the 997 is favored by many Porsche enthusiasts for its tactile driving characteristics and mechanical feel. Showcasing a desirable 6-speed manual transmission, factory Aerokit, Sport Chrono Package Plus, the Bose High End Sound Package, and Sport Exhaust System, this Carrera 4S was configured at an original cost of over $111k. Showing approximately 70k miles on the odometer, this 997 is now being offered by its second owner out of California accompanied by a clean title and Carfax report.
Reported to have always been garage-kept, the GT Silver Metallic finish is stated to be in excellent condition with only minor road going wear (detailed images are provided in the photo gallery). The factory optioned Aerokit (XAA) adds upgraded styling features including a GT3-derived front fascia and a fixed rear wing. The windows have been tinted and protective grilles have been installed over the front air intakes. This 4S rides on optional 19” Turbo wheels that come dressed in Michelin tires installed within the last year.
Inside, you will find a nicely kept black interior with factory leather Sport Seats. Some signs of wear are depicted on the handbrake lever and the seller confirms all gauges and accessories to be fully functional. A truly comprehensive build, this Carrera 4S highlights the following options:
Power comes from a naturally aspirated 3.8 L flat-six engine paired with a desirable 6-speed manual transmission. 355 HP is sent to all four wheels allowing this 997 to accelerate from 0-60 MPH in as little as 4.6 seconds while reaching a top speed of nearly 180 MPH. In addition to boasting a 30 HP increase over the standard Carrera, the 997 4S features larger brakes which are distinguished by red painted calipers. This example is also factory equipped with the optional Sport Chrono Package Plus and Sport Exhaust system. Stated to be in excellent running order and up to date on all routine maintenance, this 997 4S is just waiting to be enjoyed.
Included in the sale of this Carrera 4S is a set of two keys, a clean title, owner’s books, the original window sticker, service records, a clean Carfax report, and an OEM sunshade. If you are in search of a tastefully equipped 6-speed 997, this well maintained 2007 example may just be the one.

@NicoleFlower It looks like those still haven't popped up yet - hopefully you can figure out what's going on with PCarMarket staff prior to auction close! Good luck everyone bidding
@NicoleFlower so sorry it was my mistake. It looks like pcarmarket never received the info. I just sent it again. If not posted within a few hours - let’s talk again.
@Mercyhealth good morning. There should be some cold start and running videos on the site. Taking pictures under the car - it is just too low for me to do. I will try today. The car is truly a beautiful car and it runs like a charm.
@Spa good morning. I did submit them on Friday. Not sure why it was not posted. I will send another request to do so.

@Mercyhealth on second thought I like this car so much at this level I’m going to bid against myself.
Bid in the amount of $10,500
@NicoleFlower you have a beautiful example of a 997. The factory Aerokit always stands out. The car looks like it is in excellent physical shape bravo. Obviously with this 13 year old car the engine and maintenance are key. I’m quite surprised that the bidding has not been more robust. This car is a bit of a beast when in nominal running condition. And the Aerokit usually makes it much more desirable. If you cant get under carriage pictures maybe an interior video review, cold start or driving videos would spark more interest. This is such a nice 911 hopefully real interest will come near auction end tomorrow. Good luck!
@NicoleFlower Any updates on service records? Looks like there's no new available images on the listing yet.
@NicoleFlower You're right about the video, not sure how I missed it earlier. Don't worry about another.
@Spa I do have service records from day 1. My brother owned the car first. I can take pictures when I get home tonight. I will do this through PCMARKET.
@Spa good morning.
1. Sorry I don’t know what a DME I’d.
2. The clutch has never been replaced - the car runs great.
3. I can not take pictures of the under car. This car has been babied from day one and never even been driven in the rain.
4. I believe they are two videos on this site. Let me know and I can take another video this afternoon.
If you want peace of mind for IMS you have look for 2009 or later cars.

A few more questions...
1) Can you provide a DME report?
2) Has the clutch ever been replaced?
3) Can you provide photos of the underside of the car?
4) Lastly, any chance you could post a video of the car starting up from cold?
Thanks in advance.
Re: service records, would you be able to post images of them, or are the carfax records all you have?
@NicoleFlower - Everything I have read indicates only the 997.2 with the DFI engine eliminates the IMS issue. Granted, it is rare, but a risk nonetheless.
@Cristma "Hello, the 997.1 was not plagued with IMS issues like the 996. Some people choose to do an IMS direct oil feed for complete peace of mind. I however never felt the need to do it as the car was driven regularly and the bearing received sufficient lubrication."
Hello - I presume the IMS has not been addressed on this vehicle?
I would but I have no clue where to find the engine number. I can call my mechanic tomorrow and find where to locate this.
Could you post the engine number for this vehicle? Thank you
