After a 16-year hiatus, the M6 returned to BMW’s lineup based on the E63/64 6-Series platform, sharing its drivetrain with the E60 M5. Powered by the Formula 1-inspired 5.0-liter S85 V10, the most powerful engine fitted to a BMW production car at the time, the M6 produces up to 500 HP with an 8,250 RPM redline. Performance systems include Electronic Damping Control and Dynamic Stability Control with M Dynamic Mode. Recent maintenance includes a brake fluid flush and replacement of the DSC unit at a cost of approximately $5,000 USD (~$7,400 CAD). The seller states the car has been routinely serviced at The BMW Store in Vancouver since 2008 and stored in a climate-controlled underground facility during the owner’s time abroad.
