This 2006 Porsche 987 Cayman S comes finished in Guards Red over a Black interior with optional Sport Seats. Paring a 6-speed manual transmission with its 3.4-liter flat-six engine, this example was also optioned with 19” Sport Design wheels, Porsche Active Stability Management (PASM), the Sport Chrono Package Plus, and more. With less than 17k miles showing on the odometer, this Cayman S is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Florida.
This 987 is finished in Guards Red and, as an "S" model, features red-painted brake calipers and a dual-tipped central exhaust outlet. It rides on optional 19” Sport Design wheels with colored Porsche crests and Continental ExtremeContact tires from 2022. Standard equipment includes front fog lights, side air inlets, and a speed-activated rear spoiler. Additional images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin presents black upholstery with optional leather Sport Seats. Other optional features include automatic climate control, black floor mats with Porsche lettering, and the Sport Chrono Package Plus which adds a stopwatch dial atop the dashboard. All gauges, electronics, and accessories are confirmed to be working properly.
Powered by a mid-mounted 3.4-liter flat-six engine, the Cayman S sends up to 295 HP and 251 lb.-ft. of torque to the rear wheels by way of a 6-speed manual transmission. Acceleration from 0 to 60 MPH is achieved in approximately 5 seconds and stopping power comes from fixed 4-piston brakes paired with ventilated and cross-drilled discs at each corner. The CARFAX report shows a total of 7 service history entries.
This sale will include a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “This stunning low-mileage car speaks for itself. This Porsche Cayman S is basically brand new, garage-kept, and in great condition!”

@Spokayman I thought I’d answer your question. Must’ve missed a message. yes like I said, and the last message to all maintenances have been up-to-date.
Last maintenance was a couple months ago.
All Manuals, 2 keys .
Can’t tell you why the screen is a little bit foggy. That’s how I got the car.
Everything in this car is basically like new as it should be that I only have 16,500 miles.
@Spokayman @Naplesautobroker1,
Any response to my questions from 3-ish days ago?
Thanks
@llexdona any update on seeing this in person?
@keeks88 only thing that has been replaced is water pump. Everything else is working great with no issues.
@llexdona make sure to report back here if/when you see it in person

@llexdona ok , send me number and we can set it up
Hey 2nd request to see your car, today tomorrow?
@Naplesautobroker1 Could we get a cold start video and a video of the vehicle driving? Also has the AOS/water pump/shifter cables ever been replaced? Only asking as those are common areas of issue on this generation car.
@ADunk670 no gummy buttons
Are any of the buttons "gummy" from the heat?
@RBJ1965 Thanks! Totally missed those photos.

Hello! Wondering what the date code on the tires is? And do you know if the spark plugs have ever been replaced?
@Naplesautobroker1 @Naplesautobroker1,
So to be clear, you have all of the factory manuals, factory accessories in the frunk, two keys, and all maintenance is up to date (mileage or time based)?
Photos of these items would definitely help.
What is wrong with the glass screen? Is it scratched?
@Spokayman yes it’s slightly faded. That’s how I received it. Besides that everything else is in great condition.
@Spokayman yes all maintenance and services done . Last maintenance was 3 weeks ago.
Hi I’m in Naples like to see your car That’s Alex
Could you post pics of the engine bay and trunk please? Thank you in advance.
Bid in the amount of $10,000
@por356c is correct! I am more interested in a bore scope diagnostic.
Very nice low mile and apparently original Cayman here! Classic colors.
Do you have the manuals, maintenance receipts, two keys, etc? It would be nice to see the factory option codes (located in the maintenance manual).
Is there something wrong with the stereo display or glass face? Several photos show fading, marks, ghosts, etc.
@por356c Thank you. Appreciate your feedback and insight.
No need for IMSB replacement in this generation of Boxster engines. Failure rate is less than 1%. To do so would require that the entire engine be dismantled and there is no good reason to do that.
Replacing the IMS in a 987.1 would be a pretty neat trick.
Beautiful car. Has the IMS bearing been replaced? Thanks you in advance.
