Porsche’s original Cayman model, the 987 Cayman S, was introduced for the 2006 model year based on the contemporary Boxster with a stiffer fixed-roof chassis and a more powerful 3.4-liter flat-six engine. This launch-year example is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over Terracotta Special Leather upholstery. It was sold new from Porsche Beverly Hills equipped with an optional 5-speed Tiptronic S automatic transmission, Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), Adaptive Sport Seats, automatic climate control, Bose Surround Sound System, and the Bi-Xenon Headlamp Package. Finished in Arctic Silver Metallic, the exterior features optional bi-xenon headlamps, fog lights, side air intakes, a speed-activated rear spoiler, dual center-mounted tailpipes, red brake calipers, and 18” Cayman S wheels. Some minor cosmetic imperfections are noted, including scratches on the wheels and bumpers. The tires need to be replaced, and the seller offered to facilitate the installation of new tires upon the winning bidder’s request.
Appointed with premium Terracotta Special Leather upholstery, the cabin features optional 18-way Adaptive Sport Seats and a three-spoke leather steering wheel with Tiptronic shift buttons.
