Finished in Speed Yellow over a black interior, this 2006 Porsche Cayman S features an optional Tiptronic S transmission as well as an upgraded IPD intake plenum, 83mm throttle body, EVOMS performance tune, and Brombacher exhaust. The cabin has also been customized with an Alcantara headliner, a three-spoke Sport steering wheel, and an upgraded Pioneer head unit. It was acquired from the original owner in 2017 and is now being offered for auction by its second owner out of Arizona showing approximately 36k miles on the odometer.
This 987 comes finished in Speed Yellow and rides on 19” SportDesign wheels dressed in Continental ExtremeContact tires from 2021. Aftermarket LED daytime running lights have been fitted in the front fascia along with a removable tow hook. The headlamps and taillights have been darkened and the seller reports the front bumper was previously refinished and shows minor signs of discoloration. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
Inside, the black standard leather interior has been outfitted with a custom Alcantara headliner, yellow-painted accents, and a three-spoke Sport steering wheel with a 12 o’clock marking in yellow. The sound system has been upgraded with a touchscreen Pioneer head unit including Apple CarPlay. The original head unit is said to accompany the sale as well. Factory options include heated seats and the Bose Surround Sound System with a 6-disc CD changer.
The naturally aspirated 3.4-liter flat-six engine is rated at 295 HP and 251 lb.-ft of torque stock, driving the rear wheels by way of a Tiptronic S shiftable automatic transmission. An upgraded IPD intake planum and 83mm throttle body have been installed along with an AFE high-flow filter, EVOMS RS 350 ECU tune, and Brombacher cat-back exhaust. The car has also been lowered on H&R Sport springs and fitted with wheel spacers for a more aggressive stance. Oil changes have been completed by the seller every 5k miles and the brakes were changed at 25k miles along with a fluid flush, new drive belt, and spark plugs. Service at 33k miles included replacement of the water pump, tires, and transmission fluid/filter.
