    @Cedwards not a problem at all. The previous owner told me he drove it over 2,700 miles home from NV to NJ when he purchased it, and that was before he made it the even better more enjoyable car that it is today! Just over 30 minutes left, good luck bidders!!

  • Cedwards (registered bidder) 3 years, 2 monthsago

  • Kaimax 3 years, 2 monthsago

    @Jolin You can do a google search based on the car's VIN to find the mentioned ad.

  • Jolin (registered bidder) 3 years, 2 monthsago

    @Nolasport thx!!

  • Nolasport (seller) 3 years, 2 monthsago

    @Jolin it is an old automated for sale listing of the car from over 5 years ago in 2016.

  • Jolin (registered bidder) 3 years, 2 monthsago

    @Kaimax: where was the advertised before?? Thx.

  • Nolasport (seller) 3 years, 2 monthsago

    @MorePower I braved the rain for you all today in attempt to get some video footage of the cayman which has now been uploaded to the listing. This car was highly spec'd from the factory and now shows in an ever more stunning fashion. Someone is going to get a fantastic, properly maintained Porsche cayman with all of the presence of a super car! Less than 24 hours left in this auction, bid away!

  • Nolasport (seller) 3 years, 2 monthsago

    @Kaimax The seller in that article mentioned that the car had a slight leak at the rear main when he bought it and that he had it repaired. Yes, the rear main seal was performed and there are no leaks of any kind!

  • MorePower (registered bidder) 3 years, 2 monthsago

    Are there any oil leaks? pictures of the undercarriage

  • Ahuaji77 3 years, 2 monthsago

  • Kaimax 3 years, 2 monthsago

    @Nolasport thank you.

    The ad of the car from the previous sale (at 45k miles) mentioned that there was a slight leak at the engine/trans ( I didn't want to include an external link to this ad).

    Do you know if this problem has been remedied?

  • Nolasport (seller) 3 years, 2 monthsago

    @MorePower Straight from LN Engineering's site... "The incidence of failure with a 2006-2008 M96 or M97 Engine as found in the Boxster, Cayman, and 911 that have the larger (but non-serviceable) IMS is highly unlikely. Best estimate is about a 1% failure rate." That being said... the car does have an LN Engineering oil filter adapter and an X51 baffled oil pan to improve lubrication, especially if the car were on track.

  • MorePower (registered bidder) 3 years, 2 monthsago

    Was the ims bearing upgraded? Haven't seen any mention of that.

  • Nolasport (seller) 3 years, 2 monthsago

    @Kaimax the gentleman did everything he could to build a GT4 until he decided it was time to buy one!

  • Kaimax 3 years, 2 monthsago

    @Nolasport thank you. What is the reason for sale after all the modifications to customize the car?

  • Nolasport (seller) 3 years, 2 monthsago

    @Kaimax car was owned by a PCA instructor, so yes it has seen the track a few times.

  • Nolasport (seller) 3 years, 2 monthsago

    @Kaimax See comment about videos below, although a startup video has been sent to the auction manager and should be added soon. Will try to get some more videos coming!

    @scuderia The wing, front bumper, and GT4 style side scoops all come from Composite Concepts Distribution, a popular brand across the 987 platform especially within the track variants. The side skirts come from NR Auto and all of the aftermarket body components are of a very high quality and the paint matches perfectly! Hope this helps. In my years of buying/selling it's usually almost easier/smarter to convert a car back to stock, but I couldn't touch this masterpiece... just look at it!

  • Nolasport (seller) 3 years, 2 monthsago

    @broadwayjoe even with the massive book showing oil sample's and all I wasn't able to find any records indicating any sort of clutch replacement (or issues). The car as it sits shows absolutely no signs of needing a clutch, no chatter in the pedal and absolutely no slipping.

  • Nolasport (seller) 3 years, 2 monthsago

    @Kaimax Will try to get a video or two taken and uploaded before the auction ends as all my guys are out of town racing. The car makes a fantastic sound across all RPM's, records show $6,000 in exhaust components alone as the owner was chasing that perfect noise. Not your typical plug and play system with drones etc...
