This 2006 Porsche Cayenne S is finished in Dark Olive Metallic over a Havana and Sand Beige embossed leather interior and features a naturally aspirated 4.5-liter V8 engine paired with a 6-speed Tiptronic transmission. It was also factory optioned with variable assist power steering, heated front seats, a moonroof, 18” Cayenne Turbo wheels, bi-xenon headlights, aluminum-look roof rails, and the Light Comfort Package. This first-generation Cayenne S is now being offered for auction at no reserve out of California with approximately 89k miles showing on the odometer.
This Cayenne S is finished in Dark Olive Metallic, a rarely seen modern Porsche color currently offered as an exclusive Paint to Sample option. Equipment includes bright silver exterior trim, optional bi-xenon headlights, fog lights, aluminum-look roof rails, silver Porsche-branded brake calipers, dual exhaust outlets, a rear window wiper, a hitch reliever, and 18” Cayenne Turbo wheels with color Porsche crest center caps. Original clear paint protection film remains applied over the front end and new Pirelli tires have been installed. The seller notes some swirls in the paint, a scratch on the hood, sun fade on the roof rails, and previous paintwork on the right rear end. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a CARFAX report showing minor damage to the right rear end in 2014.
The cabin is appointed with Havana and Sand Beige embossed leather upholstery including optional heated and power-adjustable front seats, a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel, and matching carpet floor mats. Accessories include brushed aluminum-look trim, black rubber floor mats, automatic climate control, cruise control, a moonroof, auto-dimming mirrors, a Bose sound system, and an upgraded Porsche Classic Communication Management (PCCM) head unit. The seller indicates the sunroof and headliner were replaced under their ownership and some wear is present on the driver’s seat bolster.
A naturally aspirated 4.5-liter DOHC V8 engine delivers up to 335 HP and 310 lb.-ft of torque to all four wheels through a 6-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission with a dual-range transfer case and a locking center differential. The seller states there are no outstanding service items at this time.
This sale will include owner’s manuals and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “This Cayenne S was well taken care of under my ownership. I spared no expense getting the vehicle to factory spec. This example gets the attention for the Dark Olive Metallic paint and Havana/Sand Beige interior.”

@Sharkboy YES.
Hello,
Is the truck realible to drive all the way to Arizona?
Bid in the amount of $6,805
@VertexAuto That was never done under my ownership. I do not have any service records from previous owners.
@rye_991 Not sure if I missed it. Has the driveshaft center support been replaced, or any record of driveshaft work?
@VertexAuto Nothing leaks.
Bid in the amount of $6,555
@rye_991 Does this mean that the roof no longer leaks? Are there are any leaks elsewhere.
@motofabio After cleaning out the drain plugs, the roof would still leak through the sunroof when I would wash the car. I decided on a new headliner as well since they had to remove the original anyway. It was never bad, water would stay in the headliner, specifically around the grab handles. Never the floorboards. No mold/mildew odor or any other unusual smell.
Can I ask what was the reason for the sunroof & headliner work? Did you have a leak that caused water damage? If so, was water on the interior? Floorboards? Is there any remaining moisture or odor on humid days?
@motofabio If you win the auction, that should not be a problem. The car is being stored in a garage.
Would you mind hanging on to it for a few days after the auction while I arrange a flight to SF for pick up/drive home?

Thank you @rye_991 The PCCM is a wonderful upgrade. Any chance we can get some underbody pics? Just want to get a sense for any rust. No need to put on a lift. Just some suspension shots will do the trick.
@VertexAuto The key opens the hatch. Everything functions like it is supposed to.
Also, the steering wheel buttons still operate with the PCCM+/Apple CarPlay unit.
@VertexAuto Pretty much everything works. The CD changer was disabled when I had the PCCM radio installed. The sunroof and headliner are brand new. I have never got the homelink to connect with my garage door. I have never used the key/remote to open the hatch since the day I purchased it. I will confirm that by tomorrow. Thanks for your interest.
@gregthegr8 Noticed that... not sure why my services do not appear on the Carfax. I uploaded the service records. Let me know if you have any additional questions. Thanks for your interest.

Do all the door locks work? Do they work with the remote key? I've had a few that the remote key doesn't work perfectly (only opens driver's door and/or wont lock) and that some doors don't open perfectly due to a faulty door lock actuator. How about the rear hatch? Any issues opening and closing with the remote? Any issues with the sunroof? Sorry for all the questions. Very interested. GLWTA

Beautiful car. Regarding servicing, can you either upload those service records during your ownership and/or let us know what's been done and when so we have a better sense of the service history, when the last oil change was, brake fluid flush, etc., and other work? Unfortunately, the carfax doesn't list anything since 2021. Thanks.
@Snowflee17 The coolant pipes were never replaced under my ownership. Thanks for your interest.

@AtLast This Cayenne S was always serviced at a local dealer and these known issues were never recommended services to me. Copies of the service records will be included in the sale.
For what it's worth, I never had an issue with it. I used it as my daily(6 days a week) and It has done out of state road trips with no problems. Thanks for your interest.
@Sbani123 Great SUV! Very underrated for the price. The performance was a nice surprise on the first drive. If I had room in the garage, I would keep it. Hope you enjoy yours for many miles. Thanks!
Have any of the normal weak points been addressed, such as the plastic coolant pipes and cardan shaft?
Our 2006 Cayenne S, with ~50% more miles, became my wife’s “daily” and she won’t let go of it!
They’re a great SUV and you can’t match the value for their price.
GLWTA!
Hi all and welcome! Send me any messages or questions and I will try to respond back within the day. Happy bidding!
