Inside, the driver is greeted by a Stone Grey interior with optional heated seats, automatic climate control, self-dimming mirrors, BOSE Surround Sound System, and a Sport Shifter.
The mid-mounted 3.2L flat-six produces 280 HP and 236 lb.-ft of torque, sending power to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transaxle. The Boxster S can accelerate from 0-60 in 5.2 seconds with a claimed top speed of 167 MPH. Recent service is said to include an oil change, coolant flush, fuel injector cleaning, a new clutch, and water pump replacement.

@WRENCH.56 thanks for asking. The last time I changed the oil, I cut open the filter and did not see any particles.
Yes, zRMS is the rear main seal and I noticed that it was replaced when you replaced the clutch. That’s the time to do itSorry for not noticing earlier.
Thanks for the response.
Have you been cutting open the oil filter with changes and inspecting closely for metal and/or small black plastic bits from the cam chain tensioners?
@GZOB mobile one full synthetic 0 40
@Dougs06Boxster What oil are you using?
@WRENCH.56 as far as I know the ims is ok. I have been changing the oil.myself and have not seen any problems. I do not know what RMS is? If it means rear main seal, its been replaced.
Status of IMS and RMS?

@GZOB I didn't get any service records from the dealer when I bought it. The records I have are just recent ones. I don't have a photo of the tire reads. I am not with the car at present and will have a photo Sunday PM. There may be a few very very very small paint chips. Anything larger then a tiny chip I take care of. I do drive the car on weekends weather permitting, it is not a trailer queen.
Looks like a nice car! Do you have any service records and pictures of the tire tread.
Also are there any rock chips in the paint not visible from the pictures?

@onlymanuals About 4 years old, there is about 11,000 miles on them Michelin Pilot Sport.
How old are the tires?
@NHPorscheguy Thank You for your interest! I believe the Carfax is correct, but In some states the dealers are required to take title to a vehicle when they place it on their lot for sale. So, for every dealer transaction in that state there will be 2 owners. Also, I was told by the local dealer that due to a divorce the car was transferred within the same family. I've owned the car since January 2018, and was told by the local Porsche dealer that the car was traded in on another Porsche.
Great looking 987. Carfax states there have been 7 previous owners. Can you confirm this is the case? Thanks.
Hello!
Welcome to the sale of my 2006 Porsche Boxster S 6 speed manual. Its been a great car for me and we have really enjoyed it with the top down driving on the hilly and twisty roads of the North Georgia mountains. The Boxster handles the roads like it has glue on the tires!
