Available for auction is this 2006 Porsche 997 Carrera Coupe finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over a black leather interior, equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission connected to its naturally aspirated 3.6-liter flat-six engine. Modified with an OEM GT3 front bumper, aftermarket coilovers, and staggered-width 19” BBS RSGT wheels, this Carrera is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Connecticut showing under 26k miles on the odometer.
This Coupe comes finished in Arctic Silver Metallic and features an OEM GT3 front bumper. It rides on a set of staggered-width 9.5/11 19” BBS RSGT wheels dressed in Bridgestone Potenza tires. The exterior is said to be in very good condition apart from slight surface scratches around the driver door handle and passenger rear wheel arch as well as some scuffs at the bottom of the front spoiler. Detailed images are provided in the photo gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The black leather interior includes optional heated front seats, the Power Seat Package, and the Bose High-End Sound Package. Some signs of wear are noted including scuffs on the driver’s inner door sill. The seller confirms all accessories and instrumentation are working properly.
Producing up to 325 HP and 273 lb.-ft of torque, the naturally aspirated 3.6-liter flat-six engine drives the rear wheels by way of a 6-speed manual transmission. Modifications include Feal coilovers and deletion of the intake resonator for increased sound. The seller reports the coilovers make some noise over bumps, although the suspension is performing properly. Recent service includes an oil and filter change along with the installation of new spark plugs. Additional maintenance history is shown on the CARFAX report.
This sale will include a clean title (lien).

@Nadelson no the car has clear ppf. Front of fender and hood, both mirrors and in front of both rear wheels. Was going to have front bumper re done as well after the swap but didn’t get to it. And yes those are scratches. The material is odd and scratches very easily but not into the actual plastic
Am I looking at scratches in pictures 17,26,28,29,and 30. Are those scratches in the tray on the bottom of 36? Thanks.
@EQM Hi, car is a mid year 2006 so the car has the larger unserviceable bearing. the fail rate from what i have learned is less than 1%
Hi, has the IMS upgrade been performed on this? Thank you in advance.
Well, it's a lovely car.
Asked about track events because the car is lowered, which is a common mod to augment handling under pushed driving.
I'll watch carefully.
Thank you again,
David
@Havenhearth not a problem. I bought the car bone stock in June. Never auto crossed or tracked. Didn’t plan on selling but trying to build a house so something had to go to raise funds.
@Rmaradei Hi R, Thanks: that's helpful to learn about the bore inspection done when you acquired the car.
How long have you had this 911?
Have you used it for autocross, DME or track events?
Cheers,
David
@Havenhearth hi! Seller here, no dme report or ppi but we did scope the cylinders when I got the plugs done and saw no scoring
Do you have a DME report?
And has there been either a PPI or an inspection made for bore scoring?
Thank you in advance for your time and for your assistance,
David
