Now being offered for auction is this 2006 Porsche 997 Carrera S Cabriolet finished in GT Silver Metallic over a Cocoa natural leather interior with carbon fiber trim. Accompanied by an original window sticker totaling over $107k, this 2006 example comes factory equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission, 19” Carrera Classic wheels, the Sport Chrono Package Plus and Bose High End Sound Package. Noted to be in outstanding overall condition and up to date on all maintenance including a comprehensive 50k mile service, this 997 is now being offered by its seller in New Jersey with approximately 55k miles showing on the odometer.
The finish on this garage-kept Carrera S is said to be in excellent condition and the seller notes that the front-end paint protection film was recently removed this year, exposing beautifully preserved paint underneath. Some minor imperfections have been indicated including a small ding where the soft top ends near the rear decklid (a collection of images is provided in the photo gallery). Factory exclusive features include a Brown cabriolet top, stainless steel exhaust pipes and 19” Carrera Classic wheels which are currently dressed in Michelin Pilot Sport tires from 2017. The seller notes that one of the rear wheels exhibits some very minor curb rash.
Inside, this Carrera S has been appointed with a luxurious Cocoa natural leather interior featuring carbon fiber trim and supple leather seats. The cabin is said to remain in great condition with all accessories working properly. The original window sticker for this example also showcases the following exclusive features:
Power comes from a naturally aspirated 3.8 L flat-six engine which is mated to a desirable 6-speed manual transmission. 355 HP stock is delivered to the rear wheels making for a 0-60 time of approximately 4.5 seconds. This 997 has been upgraded with an aftermarket EvoMS air intake which provides for a moderate increase in power as well as more engine sound. The clutch is said to have been replaced within the last year and this Carrera S also underwent a comprehensive 50k mile service in 2019. A new battery has been installed and the seller reports that the IMS bearing was inspected and found to be in good shape. This 997 remains up to date on all due service, just waiting to be enjoyed.
The sale of this 2006 example will include a set of 2 keys, a clean title, owner’s books, most service records from new, a spare tire, wind deflector and the original window sticker.

thank you for the responses.
@leeber never had it scoped and the underside is bone dry as I do all of the fluid changes myself.
Oil change every 5k with mobile 1.
@leeber top works great and has never been serviced as far as I know it's always been stored in the garage so the condition is like new.
I knew the last owner so I had good history on it
have you ever had it tested or scoped for bore scoring? are there any oil leaks?
