@ERH please explain how you want someone to do an ims inspection ? It’s up to the owner to make a decision to get ims replaced 2006-2008 it’s not a situation that happens in high numbers. I’ve owned many 997s and a cayman with a 997 motor in it tracked and u tracked low miles high miles etc and not one has ims replaced not one an issue. This isn’t a m3 e46 with the almost guaranteed vanos issue Dme is something that’s also in my opinion blown out of proportion it was just meant to provide a dealer with information to decide if in the last 50 hours of the car was overly abused to decide to warrant coverage of a claim. If seller wants to provide it provide it if not there is a chance of a few bidders not being interested. Car looks good good luck seller
I think it should almost be mandatory on all auction sites that 997.1 listings automatically come with a DME report, IMS inspection and/or a thorough PPI from a reputable indie shop. That being said, this looks like a great well cared for but still driven 911. You get most of the aesthetics of the gt3 without the gt3 price. And no you're not getting gt3 performance either but with the few choice upgrades, I'm sure this car is no slouch.
@rmartin031 Hello! I do not have the original parts or wheels.
I haven't done a DME report.
Do you have any of original parts ie exhaust or wheels? Also do you have a DME report or have you ever done one? Thanks

@HMOrlando The car was serviced a few months ago. There are zero issues. I am meticulous with the car and maintained it with an open checkbook.
It has never been on a track. It's been mostly a garage queen.
Apologies...just noticed that info is in the listing! Any tracking since ownership?
Hello...any service issues and when was it last serviced? Thank you

Hi all! I just wanted to note that this is a 2 owner car. You'll notice in the more detailed carfax pictures in the gallery that "owner 2" was the original dealer buying the car back from the customer they initially sold it to and then selling it to me a month later.
I'm here to answer any questions you might have. I can assure anyone interested in looking at my car that it has been overly babied and meticulously maintained.
