Finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over Black leather upholstery, this 2006 Porsche 997 Carrera Cabriolet pairs a 6-speed manual transmission with its 3.6-liter flat-six engine. It was also configured with the Bi-Xenon Headlamp Package, the Bose High-End Sound Package, heated front seats, and more. Showing approximately 41k miles on the odometer, this 997 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of California.
This Carrera comes finished in Arctic Silver Metallic with a black convertible soft top and the optional Bi-Xenon Headlamp Package. It rides on black-finished 18” five-spoke wheels wrapped in Pirelli P Zero Rosso tires. The seller notes a paint chip on the front bumper and a scratch on the driver's side fender. Paint meter readings show between 4 and 7 microns thickness throughout the exterior apart from the hood, which was covered with paint protection film by a previous owner. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a CARFAX report noting damage in November 2013.
Inside, the driver is greeted with Black standard leather upholstery. Optional equipment includes Black floor mats with Porsche lettering, heated front seats, the Bose High-End Sound Package, a remote 6-disc CD changer, and self-dimming mirrors. Standard amenities consist of Porsche Communication Management (PCM), automatic climate control, and cruise control.
A naturally aspirated 3.6-liter flat-six engine delivers up to 325 HP and 273 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels by way of a 6-speed manual transmission. Acceleration from 0-60 MPH takes place in approximately 5 seconds while stopping power is handled by fixed 4-piston brakes and cross-drilled discs at each corner. Service performed by the previous owner is said to have included an oil change, new air filters, and new brakes.
This sale will include a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: "This car is in excellent shape for an 18-year-old car. The clutch feels very strong and the clutch engages right when you lift your foot off the clutch pedal in the lower range. Usually that is an indication there is a lot of clutch life left. There are no shaking or squeaking noises anywhere."

Good morning fellow car enthusiast.
Thanks for showing interest in my Porsche 911.
I will be available to answer any questions you may have about this car.
I purchased this vehicle from a lady in Las Vegas whose son builds drift cars for his customers.
I met the son at the time of purchase he was in process of building two Nissan 240zx drift cars.
He had maintained this vehicle for his mother during her ownership.
I purchased it to instal a 4 liter engine that I have owned in the vehicle but the car is so clean and it is in such good condition that I refrained from modifying it and I recently purchased another 2006 Porsche 911 online with 58,000 miles and bad engine that I am In process of replacing the engine and installing my 4.0 liter engine in the other 997 I purchased.
I have posted a YouTube video of Vehicle Data showing this car so far has 1435 hour of engine operation and it has had no significant amount of time where the engine was accelerated above 7000rpm.
By the numbers in DME data the engine has never reached 7000 rpm.
