@singvold I just uploaded the screenshot of their diagnosis. We OK'd this work, though the quote I believe ended up being a bit higher than the total. I will have to dig through to find and invoice because its was all paid online.
That screenshot was the work done. Thanks

Hi, are you able to upload the documentation form the Kelly Moss rebuild? Thanks
Bid in the amount of $16,000
@Boozer28 @jnduda @997.2seeker
Okay, please disregard the earlier notes, I found the shop notes and invoice from Kelly Moss and here is what they told us.
Cylinder #4 and #5 had piston to cylinder wall scoring, and they had also found the IMS shaft bearing had internal failure.
They then disassembled, machined and rebuilt to a 4.0L that features all new gaskets, hardware, water pump, timing chain, guides, a complete IMS rebuild and update, new lifters, and stem seals, new pistons and cylinders (4.0L), all new fluids, and an oil change and filter. Total on the work was just over $30,000.
@Boozer28 please refresh your page, video and photos of the engine build are up on my screen.
@targahawk unfortunately they have not posted them yet.

Any list of items that they may have upgraded on the build? Plenum, Throttle Body etc?
@997.2seeker, No mention of any IMS issue during the rebuild, should be in good standing order. Driving, walk-around, and startup video was just sent to the Pcar guys, you should see it shortly!
Nicely optioned 911. Was the IMS bearing ever addressed? Any vids of car idling or acceleration? Thanks
@cbherring @Boozer28 I have sent those photos to PCar. Hopefully they will have them up soon!
@wine6262 The new spec gives a 25 hp gain, and a 25 lb ft of torque over the original is what I have been told.
Would also like to see the engine work done by Kelly Moss ^
You mentioned that you would post the paperwork/receipts regarding the engine work done by Kelly Moss. Do you still plan on posting that information?
Punched out to 4.0 maybe the best way to correct a bore score yet!!!
Bravo for the Kelly Moss Mod. This probably makes a killer daily driver or maybe if someone works downtown and wants a 911 they can easily drive in the bustle.
Do you have estimate of the specs of the new engine?

@GTSCL Thank you, makes perfect sense. I was a dealer for 20 years. GLWTA!
@GTSCL I am a dealer, I bought the car to resell, it had the engine problem so I mended it before putting it on the market.
@Boozer28 I will get that stuff posted.
I just wanted to clarify that you sent the car to Wisconsin for the rebuild. I didn’t see the receipts or work record for the rebuild in your photos. Can you please post them?
OK, have to ask. After committing to spending for a 4.0 rebuild, why are you immediately selling the car? Thank you and GLWTA
If you look at the paragraph just below the photo of the engine in the listing, it states that Kelly Moss in Madison, Wi did the build in 2023. Since then I have put break-in type miles on it, and have changed the oil.. I would estimate roughly 100 miles or so.
When was the rebuild done, what shop performed the rebuild and how many miles has the car been driven since the rebuild? Thanks
