Finished in Basalt Black Metallic over Sand Beige full leather upholstery, this 2006 Porsche 997 Carrera S Cabriolet pairs a 6-speed manual transmission with its 3.8-liter flat-six. It was configured with a Sport Shifter, Sport Chrono Package Plus, Power Seat Package, Bose High-End Sound Package, Makassar interior appointments, and more. Modified with a Fabspeed exhaust, this open-top Carrera S is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Florida with approximately 135k miles showing on the odometer.
This 997 comes finished in Basalt Black Metallic with a black power-retractable soft top. It can be distinguished as an “S” model from the standard Carrera by its quad-tipped exhaust outlets and upgraded red-painted brake calipers. The car rides on aftermarket 19” five-spoke wheels. Minor blemishes are noted on the front bumper and hood. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin presents Sand Beige full leather upholstery with matching floor mats and optional Porsche-crested headrests, a Makassar rear center console, and a Makassar multifunction steering wheel. Additional options consist of a Sport Shifter, the Power Seat Package, the Bose High-End Sound Package, a Sport Chrono stopwatch dial, and self-dimming mirrors. The seller notes that an aftermarket head unit has been installed to replace the original unit, which was damaged.
A naturally aspirated 3.8-liter flat-six engine produces up to 355 HP and 295 lb.-ft of torque which is sent to the rear wheels by way of a 6-speed manual transmission. The optional Sport Chrono Package Plus includes a Sport mode button for the drivetrain as well as adjustable stiffness settings for Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM). A Fabspeed exhaust system has also been fitted. Service in 2022 is said to include a comprehensive $18,000 major service at Parkhaus1, addressing ignition coil replacements, AC evaporator repair, belt tensioners and rollers, and a complete suspension overhaul for both the front and rear, followed by an alignment for optimal handling. Additionally, a new battery and alternator were recently installed.
This sale will include a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “Experience open-air driving in this 2006 Porsche 911 Carrera S Convertible, finished in Basalt Black Metallic over a luxurious Sand Beige full leather interior with elegant Makassar wood trim. With 135,350 miles and a clean Carfax showing no accidents, this car has been exceptionally cared for and thoughtfully upgraded.”

Would it be possible to upload the CarFax? The link above only provides access to photos of the car.
IMS shouldn't be an issue in a 2006. The IMS in this engine is most likely the bigger, more robust, one. Known as the "unservicable" bearing. This is a good thing.
Failure rate is nil.

@gboyer101 Hello, we have no records showing an IMS upgrade on this car.
@211Broadway Hello, the wheels look certainly amazing on this car, unfortunately, we don't know the manufacturer or model name
To Seller: I'll ask the obligatory question about any IMS bearing replacement? Thx.
To Seller: Great looking car ! Who made the wheels? Manufacturer name?
