Showing approximately 81k miles on the odometer, this example is now being offered for auction by its seller out of North Carolina.

This 997 comes finished in Black with a matching power-retractable soft top. It can be distinguished as an “S” model from the standard Carrera by its quad-tipped exhaust outlets and upgraded red-painted brake calipers. Optional equipment includes 19” Carrera Classic wheels with colored Porsche center crests. The seller notes the rear tires from 2020 remain in good condition, although the front tires from 2012 require replacement. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a CARFAX report showing damage in November 2019 which the seller states to have been minor.

The cabin presents Stone Grey standard leather upholstery with matching floor mats. Additional options include heated front seats, the Power Seat Package, the Bose High-End Sound Package, a remote CD changer, and a module for Telephone PCM although the seller notes the PCM screen requires replacement. All other gauges, electronics, and accessories are reported to be working properly.

A naturally aspirated 3.8-liter flat-six engine delivers up to 355 HP and 295 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels by way of a 6-speed manual transmission. Acceleration from 0-60 MPH can be achieved in less than 5 seconds, continuing onto a top speed of nearly 180 MPH while stopping power is derived from fixed 4-piston brakes paired with 330mm cross-drilled discs at each corner. The CARFAX report shows a total of 31 service history entries.

This sale will include a clean title.

@no1tmorrow No leaks or damage to the top, Check engine light discussed in the comments, Nothing going on with the clearcoat I think you may be seeing a reflection. No leaks or issues and do not have documentation as the owner passed away and no one can find a file on the car. Obviously it has been serviced as noted on the Carfax but sorry we just don't have specific receipts.

    Thanks

@VaheA Yes, it is an estate car so has been idle for 6 months or more. It is a misfire on 6 which caused that .. Most likely needs to be driven to clear but it could be a faulty coil. I store cars for a living and I can't tell you how many 911's have this misfire issue after they are started to use for the summer

  • tehan2 (registered bidder) 1 monthago

@tehan2 nevermind. I see it in the video, didn't see in the photos

  • tehan2 (registered bidder) 1 monthago

@VaheA I believe that's the "brake warning light" on a 997... Which makes sense because the e-brake is up in the other photos

    Hello there
    beautiful car
Any information on why the check engine light is on?

  • no1tmorrow (registered bidder) 1 monthago

    Good Morning,
Does the top leak or have any damage?
At the end of the video it looks like the check engine light is on?
Not sure if it is my computer screen or what but is there something going on with the front bumper by bother headlights, like clear coat issue?
    Any leaks or issues?
Do you have any documentation with car, besides the carfax?
Also looks like "Asvertes" gets first dibs becaues he has same license plate, that the rules of the road.
