Benefitting from a clutch replacement performed by an authorized Porsche dealer, this Carrera S is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Canada with approximately 54k miles on the odometer.
This 997 is finished in Seal Grey Metallic and can be identified as a Carrera S model by its red-painted brake calipers, quad exhaust outlets, and 19” Carrera S wheels. Other equipment includes a speed-activated rear spoiler, a retractable black cabriolet roof, and wheel center caps with colored Porsche crests. The car rides on new Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires and the seller describes the exterior to be in very good overall condition. The black interior features optional heated seats, a Sport Shifter, and a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel in leather. A lap timer stopwatch is also mounted on the center of the dashboard as part of the optional Sport Chrono Package Plus. Other equipment includes automatic climate control, cruise control, power windows and mirrors, power-adjustable seat backrests, and Porsche Communication Management (PCM).
A naturally aspirated 3.8-liter flat-six engine produces up to 355 HP and 295 lb.-ft of torque which is sent to the rear wheels by way of a 6-speed manual transmission. The optional Sport Chrono Package Plus includes a Sport mode button for the drivetrain as well as adjustable stiffness settings for Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM). Acceleration from 0-60 MPH takes place in less than 5 seconds while stopping power is derived from fixed 4-piston brakes paired with 330mm cross-drilled discs at each corner. An invoice shows the clutch to have been replaced by Porsche Lauzon of Quebec in October 2020 at 81,995 kilometers (50,949 miles).
This sale will include owner’s manuals, some service records, and a clean title.

@DgTx57 The speedometer(speed dial is in miles) The digital odometer is in kms….but can be switched to miles in 15 seconds. Back spoiler/ vent open and close perfectly. No Drama / Just Wow.

I attempted to arrange a PPI on a deal tank listing by this dealer. Curiously, before any such inspection is permitted a prospective buyer must pay the dealer $300 for his time which will be refunded if the car is ultimately sold.
