Finished in Carrara White over a Sea Blue interior, this 2006 Porsche 997 Carrera S Cabriolet comes equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission and was generously optioned from the factory with additional leather trim, Porsche-crested headrests, 19" Sport Design wheels, the Bose High-End Sound Package, Sport Exhaust System, and Custom Tailoring (special wishes requiring further communication). Currently under the care of its second owner, this well-appointed Carrera S is now being offered for auction out of New York showing approximately 23k miles on the odometer.
This 997 is finished in Carrara White with a Metropol Blue convertible top. Compared to a base Carrera, the “S” model received red-painted brake calipers and quad exhaust outlets. This example rides on factory 19” Sport Design wheels, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The Sea Blue interior is appointed with optional supple leather seats including Porsche-crested headrests as well as additional leather covering the instrument surround, gear lever, and dashboard trim strip. Other options include heated front seats, Power Seat Package, a three-spoke steering wheel in leather, the Bose High-End Sound Package, and Navigation for PCM.
Up to 355 HP and 295 lb.-ft of torque are sent to the rear wheels from a 3.8-liter flat-six engine paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. The optional Sport Shifter reduces gear lever throw for quicker shifting and the Sport Exhaust System provides a more aggressive tone from the tailpipes. The seller states an oil change was recently completed and the CARFAX report shows maintenance history including a previous 15k-mile service by a Porsche dealer in 2013.
This sale will include a clean title.

Bid in the amount of $35,333
@Porscheguy1947 no issue
@Love3pedals no issues with the leather…and no paint on the bumper…sorry for the short explanation but have other comments to address
There is a significant difference in paint thickness between fenders and hood .
Please explain, confirm paint is original!!!
@Love3pedals pic 40 appears to be an aberration. Pics 8-11 show the backside to be unblemished
@G2NY I appreciate that, but I'm looking for a definitive answer from you. Is that an imperfection depicted in photo #40, yes or no. Explain please. No explanation no bid.
Bid in the amount of $35,000
@Love3pedals photos don’t tell the proper story of this car!!!
@G2NY can you explain what I am seeing in pic#40
@G2NY. I have interest in this car. 1) The drivers seat seams to have a lot of stretching/wear for a 23K car. Can you offer insight. 2) I note discoloration at the left rear bumper. Am I seeing that correctly? Are there any other body imperfections. If so can you note the pic #'s.
Final hour!!! Good luck!! If this is you first porsche..good for you! Bid with confidence!

@G2NY - IMS was a potential issue until the 2009 997.2 entered the market. There are several good IMS retrofit options (engine-in, so lower cost). Shouldn't deter a buyer ,who wants own this beautiful car!
Where would you estimate the clutch life to be at???
Bid in the amount of $27,750
@Holmesjc3 I am not aware of this model having this issue. The car has the original IMS bearing.
Bid in the amount of $27,500
Bid in the amount of $25,000
Can you speak to the status of the IMS?
Did I miss the build sheet somewhere? @g2ny just to be clear - no records available, what you see is what you get, correct?
@Tedwardo Oil changes were done with my local mechanic.
Something is up with suspension, no way that is stock sitting that low in front, we are not blind lol
umm.. the carfax? more inspection and reg than oil changes>?

Happy to clarify anything to the best of our knowledge.
Good luck bidders!
@griffinj2 Thank you. Car is sitting on stock springs.
Great looking example! Can you describe the suspension set up? Looks very low in the front as if lowering springs have been fitted. Thank you!
