This Carrera S was delivered new in Tennessee where it remained up until 2013 before moving to its current location in Louisiana. This 997 is finished in Midnight Blue Metallic and rides on Exclusive 19” Carrera Sport wheels featuring optional colored center crests and Continental ContiSport Contact 3 tires dated from 2017. Signs of road-going wear are noted on the front bumper and lower front hood as well as some chips on the windshield. CARFAX also shows front-end damage to have occurred in 2009 and the seller believes the front bumper to have likely been refinished as a result. Detailed images are provided in the photo gallery along with the CARFAX report.

The seller reports normal signs of wear on the door sills, steering wheel, door handles, driver’s seat, and shift knob. All gauges and accessories are said to be fully functional.
This first-generation 997 Carrera S is equipped with a naturally aspirated 3.8L flat-six engine that sends as much as 355 HP and 295 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a desirable 6-speed manual transmission. Acceleration from 0-60 MPH is achieved in approximately 4.5 seconds with a top speed of over 180 MPH. The optional Sport Chrono Package also allows the driver to adjust engine mapping and suspension characteristics for optimal performance. Routine maintenance has been carried out by the seller at NolaSport since 2013 as well as a recent major service including replacements of the clutch, rear crankshaft seal, and battery. Corresponding service records are provided for reference in the photo gallery along with a recent Porsche Multi-Point Inspection Report.

@KCnSF Ah, sorry. Yes, looked it up and you are correct.
Still it's been 1000h since range 4 and 5, so it's been a quite while since the last time.
Sorry Fourty7, I will stop commenting and let you all keep on with the auction. GLWTA
Evening/morning to all bidders! The over rev report was requested and has been supplied. It is a 100K mile 911, please do not forget this. I'm not sure anyone knows what a 100K mile over rev report on a 997 is supposed to look like anyways! What I can tell you is that the auction has nothing to hide with all records, photos and videos showing how flawlessly the car runs and drives! This car has been around our family/shop for quite some time and we are overly confident in it, take a look at the most recent invoice where we invested thousands into the car in preparation for the sale. Go take a look at the videos and photos and proceed to bid with confidence! If there are any other questions please send me a private message or comment as I'll be monitoring carefully over the last hour of the auction! 996&997 prices have gone insane, don't miss out on your chance to own this fine example. Good luck to all!
@castorHama. If I'm not mistaken (which I could be) 2705hr is the last time (out of ~3731hrs) it hit that range.
@luis.seneriz To be fair, it was >2700h since the last rev in the 4 and 5 range. That probably some 80000-90000miles ago, so the over revs most likely happened when the car had its first owner. If no problems have occured since I don't know if the over revs would be to blame for any engine failure. I believe Porsche warranty said something about no problems within 200h from range 4 and 5.

There are 747 hits on range 4. That’s 7900 to 8400. The red line on this car is 7300. I own a 3.4 996. With a tune red line goes from 7200 to 7500.
@luis.seneriz looks like a possible glitch with scanner since to have only one or 2 revs in a field it is an anomaly. either way, seller did a nice job presenting
Bid in the amount of $17,750
I just spoke with my two mechanics. According to ref h we DME report this car has consistently been over rev, Factory red line is 7,300. This thing has hits in the 8400 category. Could be that this car has a tune, \If anyone needs me to post the over rev categories I would gladly do so.

@luis.seneriz responded!
Forty I send you a message did you received it?
@AutoGuy62 Over rev report has been sent to the auction manager and will be added to the gallery.
@luis.seneriz correct new clutch and RMS.
Is there an over rev report. The dealership should be able to provide.
@luis.seneriz agreed. The lack of having one done is really the only thing keeping me on the fence about bidding. Other than that, it looks like a perfect drivers car
Just to be clear the Porsche inspection was done and then the rms, the clutch etc were changed??
Bore scoring will be the only concern with this car. Out of the M96/97 engines the 3.4 score less lokasil one, then the 3.6, the 3.8 are the most likely to score. This car has been driven so hopefully that’s not there. It’s a crapshoot. GLWTA, I’ll be sending you a message.
@skrzastek no, sorry. And will definitely not be able to get that done with the holiday weekend.
@Nolasport @Fourty7 has the been checked recently for bore scoring?
An additional video has been added to the gallery to show just how good of a car this thing is despite the mileage as well as how good it looks going down the road!
Bid in the amount of $9,971
Nice looking car. Saw a couple of line scratches in the paint like in photo 51. Also why wasn’t the interior reconditioned re died? I believe a real good car detail artist can make it look a ton better. You sir being a dealer have access to these type of detailers. I’m looking for one not necessarily this higher mileage one, but I will be bidding on it at the right price.
@CastorHama My feelings are hurt, I thought it looked pretty good considering what a 100K mile 997 could look like! All jokes aside, the car has certainly never been smoked in and has no scent of any kind. All discolorations are presumed to be from touch alone, as opposed to a black or darker interior that would hide the discoloration a bit better. Hope this helps!
Interesting car. Has the car been smoked in? The reason I ask is because there's a lot of wear and discoloration of the interior. Any idea what may have caused this?
A new video has been added to the listing page.
@Nygator09 cold start video has been sent to the auction manager and will be uploaded, the car is currently in my showroom but will try to get it out for a driving video if we can work around the rather bi-polar weather here in Nola. No rust of any kind being a Southern car, it's rare we see any of that down here. No leaks of any kind as well being that the oil pan was resealed and the rear main seal was done under the most recent service. Everything that was found in the inspection in preparation of the auction was indeed carried out. This thing is a driver, rides out like any other 40K-50K mile 997! Good luck to all bidders, let me know if anything else is needed but the service history and professional photos should just about show it all!
Hi Seller - nice looking 997. Could you please post a start-up and driving video?
Any signs of rust or oil leaks?
