Equipped with a naturally aspirated 3.8-liter flat-six engine paired with a 6-speed manual transaxle, this 2006 Porsche 997 Carrera S Coupe is presented in Guards Red over a Black full leather interior. Sold new in Georgia at an original sticker price of over $94k, it came factory-equipped with the optional Sport Chrono Package Plus, Sport Exhaust System, 19” Sport Design wheels, Bose High-End Sound Package, Adaptive Sport Seats, and Guards Red seatbelts. Cared for by three prior owners and with less than 29k miles showing on the odometer, this Carrera S is now being offered for auction out of Pennsylvania.
The exterior is finished in Guards Red and features bi-xenon headlights, fog lights, heated power mirrors, an electric sunroof, a speed-activated rear spoiler, quad Sport Exhaust tailpipes, and red Porsche-branded brake calipers. The car rides on optional 19” Sport Design wheels with Continental ExtremeContact Sport 02 tires, showing 2023 production date codes, and 9/32” of tread depth. The seller notes a small ding on the driver’s side quarter panel above the wheel well and some minor chips on the lower front bumper. The front bumper, hood, fenders, and rear bumper are said to have been previously refinished to a very high standard. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a CARFAX report noting minor damage in May 2019.
The interior features premium Black full leather upholstery, optional Adaptive Sport Seats, Guards Red seatbelts, a three-spoke leather steering wheel, a Sport Chrono dashboard stopwatch, and an Alcantara headliner. Other accessories include automatic climate control, cruise control, stainless-steel door sills, the optional Bose High-End Sound Package, and Porsche Communication Management (PCM). Normal signs of wear are indicated on the driver’s seat bolster.
Factory-rated at 355 HP and 295 lb-ft of torque, the naturally aspirated 3.8-liter flat-six engine is paired with a 6-speed manual transaxle. The car comes equipped with an aftermarket Fabspeed air intake kit, Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), the optional Sport Chrono Package Plus, Sport Exhaust System, and fixed 4-piston brakes with 13” cross-drilled discs at each corner. The seller indicates a service will be completed before delivery for the next owner, including a safety inspection, brake, clutch, and coolant system flushes, a new cabin air filter, new wiper blades, and wheel balancing.
This sale will include owner’s manuals and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “We had this example for the 1st time in 2018 when it had 5k miles on the odometer! We were recently given an opportunity to bring back to our showroom once again. This example is packed with enthusiast options such as red belts, full leather, sport chrono, adaptive sport seats, sport exhaust, and sport shifter.”

Hello @e2532 As a follow-up to your question regarding number keys that come with the car - We DO have 2 keys! Both will be provided to the new owner. Thank you
Hello all, we have added a cold start and driving video to the gallery. You should see those live in the listing momentarily. Thank you!
Hello @e2532 I would say the gaps do not appear to be off in person. If they are, it is extremely minor. The hood does sit flush with the bumper.
@udrive Thank you -- I must have stopped that video a few seconds early, I see the wheel now. Regarding the hood and measurements, would you say the hood is flush with the front bumper, as is normal?
Hello @e2532 We have answered your questions below
1) Is there only one key? - There is 1
2) Can you provide close-up images of the center console and driver seat wear? Also, any curb rash, if any.
Will ad pics of console and driver seat. There is a scuff on 1 wheel as we have shown in the video. The other 3 are clean.
3) Can you provide measurements of the left and right gaps between front hood and side panels? they don't look centered.
We will add pics with a measuring tape.
4) It looks like there have been only been two oil changes in 20 years, are you aware of any other services or maintenace? Not all service facilities report to Carfax. With that said we were were no provided with service records.
5) Have there been any mechanical inspections since you've had the car in your possession?
Yes, the service completed was based on an inspection by Leading Edge Auto Sport. Feel free to call them, as I am sure they would be happy to share their thoughts. We will post the inspection in the gallery. We are also happy to allow a PPI during the auction period.
6) 📈 It seems the second owner crashed it immediately and performed no maintenance before selling it 😢. Could you provide a current DME over-rev report with operating hours and ranges 1–6?
We will post a DME
7) You mentioned no service records, but what about _any_ knowledge of coils/plugs, water pump, coolant tank, AOS, PASM struts, or bore scoping?
We will posy the inspection report. There are no leaks from the struts, no notes on the AOS and we did not have a bore scope performed. We are happy to allow that during the auction period.

@udrive If possible, when you shoot the cold-start video(s) can you please have mic near/in the rear left wheel well?
Thank you!
Hello @td7 The car was in an accident, but it was not "wrecked". The front end and rear bumper have been painted. We do not have service records other than the upcoming service mentioned and what is on the Carfax. We were not provided with receipts for repairs or pics of the car after the accident. We will provide a cold start and driving video next week. We are happy to allow a PPI or personal inspection anytime next week from Monday - Friday. All electronics work. The only mod is FabSpeed cold air upgrade kit shown in the pic of the engine.
Are invoices available for the bodywork after the car was wrecked?
Any pics of the damage?
Any service records?
Are all electronics including seat adjustments and sunroof fully functional?
What mods have been done?
Can we get a cold start video of the exhaust?

@Mjc23 This 2006 911 has the more robust IMS bearing from the factory. It is not serviceable.
Any information on IMS bearing?
