Up for auction is this garage-kept 2006 997 Carrera S Cabriolet. After having spent most of its life on the road in Hawaii, this Cab is now being offered in excellent condition out of California with only 27k miles on the odometer. 997’s are becoming highly desirable among Porsche enthusiasts for their mechanical drive systems and visceral feel. A naturally aspirated flat-six engine, cabriolet top, and low mileage, make this car perfect for spirited driving year round.
The beautiful Atlas Grey Metallic paint is stated to be all-original and in excellent condition with only minor blemishes. The owner did a great job at showing the true condition of this vehicle's exterior. Due to a cosmetic flaw, the owner states that the rear bumper was professionally resprayed at some point. The black convertible top is in excellent condition and operates smoothly. The 19" wheels are wrapped in a brand new set of Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires.
The black leather interior of this cab is in excellent condition with only typical wear to the front seats. Exclusive factory options include headed front seats and navigation. The seller states that the speakers are currently not working although the deck is functional.
Power comes from a 3.8-liter flat-six engine that produces a hearty 355hp and 295 lb-ft of torque. This power is delivered to the rear wheels by way of its desirable 6-speed manual gearbox. Regular services and inspections can be traced back to the time of purchase. The car handles, shifts, and accelerates smoothly.

@BlackSlacks IMS has not been addressed. Car has never been tracked or driven hard. It’s more a sunny day leisure car. I have a couple M cars for spirited driving. No I don’t have an over rev report... does that have to be done at dealer machine? The only thing not working as it should is the stereo speakers. I believe they need to be replaced but I haven’t done it coz I don’t listen to the stereo on this car as convertibles don’t have good acoustics with the top down which is what this car is for. I really don’t even turn it on. Asides from that the car is perfect. New Michelin’s have under 2000 miles and 5 months old. Also did a 20 hour detail with paint correction at Detail Innovations in Fremont. Paint now is perfect with zero swirls. Tires and alignment cost 1700$ and Detail was $1000. Thank you!
I am assuming that the IMS has not been replaced. Has the car been tracked? Do you have an over rev report? does it need anything as it sits? anything NOT working as it should? Thanks!
All, I welcome anybody to come see the car live if interested.
