Up for auction is this 2006 Porsche 997 Carrera S Coupe finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over a black interior. This Carrera S was configured at an original sticker price of over $89k and comes equipped with Sport Chrono Package Plus, a 6-speed manual transmission, the Power Seat Package, Bose High-End Sound Package, exclusive stainless steel exhaust pipes, and more. This three-owner 2006 example was acquired by the seller about one year ago and has been recently serviced and inspected by the professionals at RAC Performance in preparation for sale. Currently showing approximately 64k miles on the odometer, this 997 is being offered for auction by its seller out of Texas.
This 997 comes finished in Arctic Silver Metallic and features exclusive stainless steel exhaust pipes. The factory-applied rear stone guards remain in place and some minor cosmetic imperfections are depicted in the photo gallery. The CARFAX report shows minor damage to have occurred to the rear end in 2019 and the seller reports the rear bumper to have been refinished as a result. The factory 19” Carrera S wheels come dressed in a set of Michelin tires dated from 2018.
Inside, this Carrera S features a black standard leather interior fitted with an Alcantara headliner, heated and power operated front seats, self-dimming mirrors, a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), the Bose High-End Sound Package, and a remote 6-disc CD changer. The optional Sport Chrono Package Plus also adds a stopwatch dial to the center dashboard. An upgraded Pioneer touchscreen Bluetooth head unit has been installed and the carpets have been protected by genuine all-weather floormats. Minimal signs of wear are noted, and the seller reports a broken plastic tab on the driver's seat.
This Carrera S is equipped with a naturally aspirated 3.8L flat-six engine that sends up to 355 HP and 295 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a desirable 6-speed manual transmission. The optional Sport Chrono Package Plus is equipped while aftermarket upgrades include RSS Performance engine mounts and an LN Engineering oil filter adapter with a removable-style filter. The CARFAX report highlights services dating back as far as 2014, and the seller notes an inspection was recently performed by RAC Performance. Recent service includes the replacement of the front brake pads, windshield washer pump, and ignition switch.
This sale will include the original window sticker, owner's manuals, and a clean title (lien). If you have been in search of a 997 Coupe, this 6-speed Carrera S is not to be overlooked.

Today is the day! I’m excited for someone to get a really great car. It’s a perfect example to get on the road and use, high enough mileage that you don’t feel bad adding a few miles but low enough to have tons of life left. I’m going to miss it but I’m happy it will go to a fellow enthusiast which is why I wanted to see it on PCAR!

guessing the passenger front fender was the accident mentioned in the carfax, paint/clear coat doesn’t match in the sunny pix
@luis.seneriz The report along with everything they identified is now posted in the photos. Its not a formal letter, just the DME report and a list of everything they found that they would correct if they sold the car for me. They require literally every little thing to be sorted before they will consign. I have also posted the list of the work that I had done which was almost everything on their list. The few items not done are items that I never noticed when using the car over the past year so I didn't think it made sense to do them...nothing that affect the usability of the car.

@jvanburen I'm not sure on the duplicate titles. I will have to ask a dealer friend. From what I know, the car had an original from new until about 2015 and then 2015 to 2020 when I purchased it.
For me, its a "car I always wanted but I couldn't afford it back then thing". It's a great car. I have NOT been disappointed. I just decided to go back to school and I have two small children so I'm cutting back on extra expenses. Plus, I have a new Bronco on order (here middle of next year) that will work better with the kids.

6 duplicate titles issued under the previous owner. Is there something unique to Texas that would explain that? Seems like a relatively short period of ownership under current owner. Curious why you would be selling so soon.

It is an AVH-X2600BT. No CarPlay. It does have both bluetooth and a usb connection though that I use for Pandora on my iPhone. It would be easy to upgrade to a newer Pioneer unit if you wanted too. I'm including the original manual for the system with the sale as well.
