Finished in Guards Red over a Black interior, this 2006 Porsche 997 Carrera Cabriolet features a 6-speed manual transmission paired with its 3.6-liter flat-six engine. It came factory-equipped with the optional Power Seat Package, heated seats, Porsche-crested headrests, the Bi-Xenon Headlamp Package, Bose High-End Sound Package, and 19” Sport Design wheels. The car was acquired by the seller from its original owner in 2014 with under 10k miles and has been garage-kept ever since while undergoing routine annual service. Showing approximately 22k miles on the odometer, this 997 is now being offered for auction out of Texas.
This 997 is finished in traditional Guards Red with a black convertible top and optional 19” Sport Design wheels. Other equipment includes optional bi-xenon headlights, fog lights, a speed-activated rear spoiler, dual exhaust outlets, and optional colored Porsche crest wheel center caps. The car rides on a set of Michelin tires showing production date codes from 2019 in the front and 2022 in the rear. The seller adds that the car has been kept in a garage beneath a cover throughout their ownership and has always been hand-washed. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report
Inside, this Carrera features Black standard leather upholstery with optional heated and power-operated seats. Other equipment includes the optional Bose Surround Sound System, power windows and mirrors, automatic climate control, cruise control, and Porsche Communication Management (PCM). The seller notes some signs of wear on the radio volume knob and slight scratches on the plastic center console trim.
A naturally aspirated 3.6-liter flat-six engine delivers up to 325 HP and 273 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels by way of a 6-speed manual transmission. Acceleration from 0-60 MPH takes place in approximately 5 seconds while stopping power is handled by fixed 4-piston brakes and cross-drilled discs at each corner. The CARFAX report shows 17 maintenance history records including two new tires in 2020, a battery replacement in 2021, and an oil service in January 2024. The seller adds that routine maintenance is up to date and the convertible top mechanism was replaced in 2018.
This sale will include owner’s manuals, the original window sticker, a Porsche cabin wind deflector, and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “Beautiful, well-kept 2006 Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet ready for a collector.”

@JohnCol I apologize, I didn't respond to the first part of the question. When I purchased the car, the owner was more of a car enthusiast than I am even and he kept the car covered and in his garage just as I do. He was meticulous with the maintenance and told me that the car had never even been rained on. Since I've owned the car (purchased in 2014) it has been rained on one time. Additionally the previous owner stated than no one else had even driven the car besides him and since I've owned it no one has driven it besides me. So not only is the car a two owner vehicle but it appears that it has only been driven by two individuals ever. I am only selling the car because I will be downsizing from my home to a condo this spring when my child graduates from high school.
@JohnCol Paint is in great condition and my son and I hand wash it a couple of weeks ago. We don't have ceramic or PPF on the paint.
@AK9eleven Yes, everything works mechanically with no issues that I'm aware of. I just had the annual maintenance and inspection done and nothing was reported. Tire tread is 8/32 on all four tires.

Does everything work mechanically? Any issues ? Tire depth ?
Is there anything else you can tell us about the car other than what's in the description? Paint looks great is there ceramic or ppf on it? Are there 2 keys?
