Finished in Black over a Sand Beige full leather interior, this launch-year Porsche 997 Carrera 4S Coupe features a 6-speed manual transmission paired with its 3.8-liter flat-six engine. At an original sticker price of over $102k, it came optioned with Sport Chrono Package Plus, Sport Exhaust System, Power Seat Package, Bose High-End Sound Package, Porsche-crested headrests, and auto-dimming mirrors. Purchased by the seller earlier in 2024, it was refinished in Black under prior ownership and fitted with 19” RPK036 wheels. This C4S is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Virginia with approximately 54k miles showing on the odometer.
As a 4S model, this Coupe features wider fenders than a standard 997 Carrera. It was refinished in its original Black color in January 2022 and rides on silver 19” RPK036 wheels with Bridgestone Potenza tires in front and Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires at the rear. Equipment includes xenon headlamps, fog lights, an electric sunroof, a speed-activated rear spoiler, quad exhaust tips, and red Porsche-branded brake calipers. The seller notes the passenger side mirror and switch were replaced in 2019 and some curb marks are present on the wheels. The Sand Beige full leather interior features a matching Alcantara headliner and optional heated power seats with Porsche-crested headrests. Other accessories include a three-spoke leather steering wheel, black carpet floor mats, automatic climate control, cruise control, a Sport Chrono dashboard stopwatch, auto-dimming mirrors, Bose High-End Sound Package, a 6-disc CD changer, and Porsche Communication Management (PCM) with navigation. The seller indicates aftermarket LED interior lights have been installed, the CD changer was repaired, and the passenger vanity mirror was replaced. Some wear is noted on the driver’s seat bolster, imperfections on the PCM screen, and a scratch on the inner rear driver’s side panel.
Rated at 355 HP and 295 lb.-ft of torque, the naturally aspirated 3.8-liter flat-six engine delivers power to all four wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission. The car is equipped with the optional Sport Chrono Package Plus and Sport Exhaust System. The seller states engine-out services were performed in 2006 and 2007, the spark plugs and coil packs were replaced in 2018, and the front axle boots were replaced in 2019 along with the clutch and flywheel. If you haven’t seen it, I highly recommend it! That’s where my love affair with the black Porsche 911 began. Over the years, I’ve admired these cars from afar, and the 911 Carrera 4 body style truly captured my heart. This vehicle brought all those dreams to life. When I purchased it, I knew I had found my dream car, but due to life’s changes, it’s now time to pass it on to someone who will cherish it as much as I have. This car is incredibly fun to drive and remains in outstanding condition, especially considering it is 18 years old. It’s been an absolute joy to own, and it performs exactly as you’d expect from a vehicle of this caliber. There are two tiny rock chips on the front bumper, which are visible in the pictures (though they were difficult to capture due to the reflection). Other than that, the paint is impeccable. From what I’ve learned, the previous owner had the car in Hawaii, where it was exposed to the sun and eventually needed a repaint. The result is a fresh, well-executed paint job. Since then, the car has been garaged and hasn’t seen winter weather. In fact, I even avoid taking it out in the rain. The car consistently turns heads, and people often ask what year it is—they can hardly believe it’s 18 years old. The classic wide-body design and flawless paint really make it stand out. All, relevant to this auction, I am working to get new tires installed on this vehicle in the next couple of weeks. It will come with brand new front and rear tires. Currently looking at putting Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S tires on front and rear.
@GT4Driver I don't have pics, but they were replaced in 2019 by prior ownership. I'll see if I can get the car jacked up enough today to get some pics.
@whitti do you happen to have pics from underneath showing inner wheel components ie cv boots?
The vehicle has not shown any of the symptoms that would have led me to do a bore scope. I ran a DME using a Bluetooth odbii scanner I have and there were no codes. It runs and sounds fantastic.
Beautiful 4s! Has there been a DME/overrev or bore scoping report on this recently that @seller can share?
