Finished in Black over a matching interior, this 2006 Porsche 997 Carrera 4S Coupe is equipped with a 3.8-liter flat-six engine sending power to all four wheels by way of a 6-speed manual transmission. This example comes equipped with an optional Sport Shifter, bi-xenon headlights, heated front seats, Bose High-End Sound Package, and more. Showing approximately 72k miles on the odometer, this C4S is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Michigan.
This 997 Carrera 4S is presented in Black and showcases wider rear bodywork compared to the standard Carrera model. It equips bi-xenon headlights, integrated fog lights, auto-dimming mirrors, a sunroof, a speed-activated rear spoiler, and quad exhaust outlets. It rides on 19” Turbo wheels with a set of tires with less than 2k miles. The seller adds that a full-color correction was performed in 2021 followed by an application of partial paint protection film and a ceramic coating. Additionally, a slight imperfection is noted on the right stone guard. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin features heated power-adjustable front seats in Black leather upholstery. Amenities include the Bose High-End Sound Package, metal door sills with model insignias, a sport shifter, automatic climate control, cruise control, and an aftermarket Alpine head unit and charging port. All gauges and electronics are reported to be fully functional. The seller notes the left door latch has been replaced.
Power is derived from a naturally aspirated 3.8-liter flat-six engine that delivers up to 355 HP and 295 lb.-ft of torque to all four wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission. The car achieves acceleration from 0-60 MPH in about 4.5 seconds with a top speed of 180 MPH. Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) is included as standard. A comprehensive 60k-mile service is said to have been conducted in July 2022.
This sale will include the owner’s manuals, a spare tire, the OEM wheels, the OEM stereo head unit, a car cover, a battery charger, sales brochures, and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “Thanks for visiting my auction. I have owned the car for 3 years and it looks and drives as a Porsche should. Always stored in winter with annual maintenance in the spring. The car has 997 turbo wheels, included in the sale are the original lobster forks. Absolutely thrilling to drive.”

Bid in the amount of $37,750
Can anyone give an indication what that squeak sound is on start-up video? Doesn't sound normal, but could be a simple fix or maybe not. It is a beautiful car though. Thanks.
Reserve has been removed. Good luck all bidders. Someone is getting my baby today.

Wow! Go bid FSWEET! lol
Yeah…that was a typo…sorry all…
@amakuch not sure of the squeak. Yes, car is in MI - moved in August. Clean OH title.
What is that squeak in the startup video? Car is located in Michigan but has an Ohio title?
Less than 2 hours left! I'm available for any last minute questions.

@bigs964rs photo #78 Larchmere receipt in the bottom right corner documents the driver door fault and replacement as well as the passenger door bulb.
@bigs964rs Yes. It was resolved by Larchmere during the July 2022 service. The hard fault was the drivers door latch which was replaced and solved the issue. A new OEM battery was installed in October of 2023.
@chann Has the electrical drain issue reported by Larchmere been resolved? Any documentation of such resolution?
@ADunk670 66,979. No PPI - not likely to happen in the next 18 hours.
@chann Roughly what was the milage in July 2022? Also, has anyone performed a PPI yet? I know we are out of time to have one before the auction closes
@Mcomito not under my ownership and no record of prior replacement. It was checked by Larchmere Imports in July of 2022 and reported as "plenty of life left".
Has the clutch been replaced?
@DATGTS Michigan
The two pictures with the red stiching is clearly just that, a car with red stiching and oh by the way a painted center console which you're car also dose not have. Clearly not your pictures. Is the car in Cleveland Ohio as the plates would reference or Michigan.

Bid in the amount of $1,250
@thigg12 There is also a red glow coming from the rear seat in 95 & 96. I did not take noe upload the photos so not sure if it's a light or filter. Stitching is white - will upload a photo in garage. No PPI or borescope, open to having either/both performed.
@chann pictures 95 & 96 clearly show seats with red stitching. Not a reflection. Were these incorrect photo uploads? Separate question, has a PPI and or borescope ever been performed? If not, are you open to having those done?
@userabc123 I can see that in some photos......in picture 11 the washer is completely symmetrical. Not broken nor indented.
@userabc123 stitching is white - car was on red brick for photo shoot and may just be a reflection.
Whats with the windshield washer below the frint headlight drivers side in chrome. Seems depressed. Is it broken?
There are pictures of the interior without red stitching then 2 pictures with seats with red stitching. Can you explain?
Thanks for checking out the 997.1 - last of the analogs. My stewardship has been a great pleasure, the car brings a smile each time I look at it. Feel free to ask any and all questions.
