Finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over a Black interior, this 2006 Porsche 997 Carrera 4 Cabriolet features a 3.6-liter flat-six engine driving all four wheels through a 6-speed manual transaxle. It was sold new in California, where it remained registered through the current owner’s purchase in 2013. The prior owner is said to have invested over $18k worth in high-end modifications, including H&R Street Performance Sport Suspension, a Borla stainless-steel exhaust system, and custom 18” ZONE three-piece wheels. Recently serviced and with approximately 48k miles showing on the odometer, this 997 is now being offered for auction out of Nevada.
Featuring wider bodywork than a standard rear-wheel-drive Carrera, this Carrera 4’s exterior is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic with a black power-operated convertible top. Equipment includes the optional Bi-Xenon Headlamp Package, fog lights, heated power mirrors, a speed-activated rear spoiler, and quad exhaust tips. The car rides on custom 19” ZONE three-piece wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. The seller indicates the rear tires were replaced within the last 1k miles. The CARFAX report shows minor damage in October 2023, which is said to have resulted from a broken taillight and minor cosmetic damage sustained from a scrape in a parking lot. The taillight has been replaced, and the bumper was refinished. Noted imperfections include paint chips on the engine compartment and some signs of road-going wear on the front bumper. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a full CARFAX report.
The Black interior includes optional heated and power-adjustable front seats, a three-spoke leather steering wheel, automatic climate control, cruise control, a remote central locking system, and Porsche Communication Management (PCM). The seller adds that the car has been garage-kept with seat covers installed throughout their ownership.
The naturally aspirated 3.6-liter flat-six engine was factory-rated at 325 HP and 273 lb-ft of torque. All four wheels are driven through a 6-speed manual transaxle. Under previous ownership, the car was modified with H&R Street Performance Sport Suspension and a Borla stainless-steel exhaust system. The seller notes that all maintenance is up to date, including a recent service with an oil and filter change, a brake fluid flush, and new CV boots.
This sale will include owner’s manuals, a toolkit, a car cover, and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “Thank you for visiting my auction. I have owned the car for over 13 years, always garaged, and never driven in the elements. It is a one-of-a-kind Porsche with incredible handling, speed, and acceleration. All maintenance per Porsche requirements is up to date. Nonsmoker, heated seats. Looks and drives as new.”

@2000996 Trophy Performance did all the work on my 911 since i moved to Vegas. German Motors did the work when i was in San Diego. everything shows up on the CARFAX with each service that was performed. last service was in 2023 ) oil filter, oil change, 4 wheel alignment). Next big service reqd by Porsche is at 50k.
Which shop in LV did the recent service? Thx.
@SurferGab yes, mine is also the 997.1 with the good ims
@brudomen unfortunately the 2006 gets a bad rap cuz the first half of the year was the 996 model as they slowly transitioned to the 997 during 2006. The 996 had a lot of issues w the IMS bearing and the design made it a tough cookie to work on. This is a 997 model so a lot of improvements over the 996
@SurferGab I have an ‘06 base Carrera cab and absolutely love it. So many smiles/mile. I’ll keep it forever! Best bang for the buck around. Come on folks LFG!! GLWA
@brudomen i am as perplexed as u Brudomen. i get more offers 4 my car just driving the car around town...ha ha a lot of views and saves so maybe the true lovers of this car are waiting for the last few hours to bid on it. It is a one of kind 911 w great curves and the great Porsche sound( enhanced w the upgraded exhaust). The unfortunate thing about an auction is one cant drive this 911 and feel the unbelievable handling since it is a Carrera 4 w wide soft tires that are like glue on the road to take those corners and curves. I have owned many Porsches since 1992 and easily the best handling Porsche i have owned
Why so little activity on this beautiful car??
Bid in the amount of $10,000
Hi future. Past or Present Porsche owner, my name is Jess, the owner of this 911. With only a few days left in this auction i wanted to let u know I will be around to answer any questions anyone might have. I think the CARFAX does an excellent job covering the excellent love and car i have given this CA Porsche from day 1. I Hate to sell it but i have 2 Porsches and 2 SUV's...and for a recently single guy i need to thin the herd so someone can enjoy driving this beautiful handling machine. Only driving it 100 mi/mo is not enough for this one of a kind car. I will be standing by for the next few days to address anything on this 911. Thank you for your attention on this matter
