Finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over a black interior, this 2006 Porsche 997 Carrera Coupe features a 6-speed manual transmission and factory-optioned Sport Shifter as well as 19” Carrera Classic wheels, Sport Chrono Package Plus, and heated seats with Porsche-crested headrests. It was fitted with an OEM Aerokit front bumper under current ownership and rides on upgraded Ohlins coilover suspension. Routinely serviced and with just over 50k miles showing on the odometer, this 997 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of California.
This Coupe wears an Arctic Silver Metallic finish as well as optional Bi-Xenon headlamps and 19” Carrera Classic wheels with colored center crests. A genuine 997 Aerokit front bumper was professionally painted and installed under current ownership before receiving a layer of clear paint protection film. The wheels are mounted with 7mm/10mm spacers, extended bolts, and Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires. Some rock chips are noted on the front hood and the exterior is described to be in otherwise excellent condition overall.
The black standard leather interior features optional heated and power-operated seats with exclusive Porsche-crested headrests. Driver amenities include automatic climate control, a Porsche Communication Management (PCM) infotainment system, Apple music streaming with Mobridge module, and a lap timer stopwatch on the center dashboard equipped as part of the Sport Chrono Package. Some scuffs are noted on the driver’s inner door sill and the seller confirms all accessories and instrumentation to be working properly.
A naturally aspirated 3.6-liter flat-six engine delivers up to 325 HP and 273 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels by way of a 6-speed manual transmission with an optional Sport Shifter. An upgraded Ohlins coilover suspension has been installed in addition to a high-flow BMC air filter. The transmission fluid, spark plugs, and front brakes were replaced during service in October of 2020 and the seller states routine oil changes have been completed during their ownership every 5k miles.
This sale will include a clean title.

@KCnSF Correct, IMS is original and not serviceable.
@sl430 So just to be clear, the IMS is the original and has not been replaced?
Bid in the amount of $32,500
@castel32 Yes, there is a tint but your local tint shop would have a better idea on removal.
If there is indeed a tint in the rear windows, is it possible to be removed easily?
@dcfate4x I believe they are and have no reason to think they are not.
Is all the glass OEM?
@eatonr53 It's probably the sunlight but it matches.
The front bumper appears a completely different color than the hood and fenders
If the color that far off ?
Hello Bidders, just wanted to point out the Ohlins is 3,000 and Aerokit bumper is $2000. These together is worth 5k uninstalled and unpainted. Bumper totally changes the look and Ohlins improves ride quality by a lot. Happy bidding!

@jntyoon I do not have a borescope report but I attached a PPI I performed from when I purchased the car.

Realize it's last minute, but any recent (or old) DME report or borescoping?

@stupendous It has the larger IMS bearing for this model year which is not serviceable. Oil filters during oil changes have been clean.
@jntyoon Yes, it's available and will go with the car.
Have to ask. Has the ims been replaced? And before everyone chimes in about the low failure rate, I personally know of someone who had to rebuild his 997,engine due to an IMS failure, hence the question. Thanks!
Hi there, are stock springs available?
Just added a photo of the Carrera emblem.

@ClayMan Paint is original. I went to several stores to try to get a paint meter but couldn't find one. I'm ordering from Amazon and hopefully I can get it in time. I have the emblem which the previous owner took off but I never put it back on since it never bothered me. I will post a pic of it.
Is the paint original other than the front bumper? Can you post paint meter readings? What happened to the rear emblems?
Bid in the amount of $12,000
Hello SlickWilly, the stock bumper was in pretty bad shape with rock chips and was the reason I switched it to the Aerokit. The stock bumper was sold.
Is the stock front bumper available by chance?
