Initially delivered in California, this example has spent time in Oklahoma and Montana before recently reaching New Jersey. Showing approximately 34k miles on the odometer, this meticulously maintained 997 is now being offered for auction.

This example is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic and features the optional Bi-Xenon Headlamp Package. Equipment also includes an electric sunroof, fog lights, a speed-activated rear spoiler, dual exhaust outlets, silver Porsche-branded brake calipers, and 18” Carrera wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires from 2022. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.

The naturally aspirated 3.6-liter flat-six engine is factory-rated at 325 HP and 273 lb-ft of torque, driving the rear wheels through a desirable 6-speed manual transmission. Standard performance features include multi-piston brake calipers with cross-drilled and vented rotors, Porsche Stability Management (PSM), an automatic brake differential (ABD), and Anti-Slip Regulation (ASR). The seller highlights an oil change in April 2025, and the CARFAX report shows a total of 10 service history entries.

This sale will include a clean title, owner's manuals, a toolkit, and an air pump.

The seller would like you to know: "One of the nicest condition, low mileage 911 Coupes that I have come across.  Extremely original, well-cared-for car that has been serviced at the dealer."

@Djsee23 I have uploaded the engine serial number to the photo gallery. I was confused when you asked for the engine code which is different from the serial number, thanks for the clarification. Please see it in the gallery.

With all the mention of bore scoring I thought I would chime in here. The base 3.6 is less prone; of course, never immune as any car. I purchased my 2005 Carrera 3.6 with 54k miles here on Pcar, then had it bore scoped - all clear. I specifically sought out the 3.6 and have been nothing but impressed with it. Feels more powerful with its torque than my 991.1 3.4. These are the best value in the Pcar world right now IMHO. And way more engaging and soulful than my old 997.2.

  • Djsee23 (registered bidder) 5 days, 5 hoursago

Bore scoring, yes would be good to now that as well.

@ambassador-auto there's a engine serial number. The engine serial number can be located on the lower edge of the engine’s integrated dry sump as shown below.

Don’t worry about IMS failure on these cars. Literally not worth sweating over. Now bore scoring….thats real. There’s a reason why 997.2 cars are worth double the price of the 997.1. But…life is too short to worry about such trivial things. Get a deal on this car and wring it out!

  • Ambassador-Auto (seller) 5 days, 6 hoursago

@Djsee23 I am not sure what you are referring to when you say engine code.

  • Djsee23 (registered bidder) 5 days, 7 hoursago

Do you have the engine code available?

@BR356 Hello again. Please see the link below to the cold start video.

@BR356 thanks for the question. I will have a video uploaded within an hour. We have not done a bore scope.

@Kevozzi66 If you are referring to the third iteration larger single row bearing that cannot be serviced (as its too large to fit through the case)? This went into the 997.1 starting in mid 2005. And you are correct, the failure rates are below 1%.

  • BR356 (registered bidder) 5 days, 10 hoursago

cold start video? According to many, it is the low mileage engines that bore score also dependent upon the oil that has been used. Mobil one not being a favorite even though factory recommended in the past. Has a bore scope been done to check cylinders?

Very few 997s experienced IMS failures after Porsche's factory upgrade in 2006.

@SAMIOT thanks for the question. Unfortunately we have no documentation regarding the IMS Bearing. Told it was done, but don’t have confirmation with documentation.

@Janmac331 Unfortunately we do not. It happened with the owner prior to the individual I got it from. I can say, it runs as well as any 997 I have ever driven.

  • Janmac331 (registered bidder) 1 week, 4 daysago

Any details on why the engine was removed at 10k miles?
