Up for auction is this 2006 Porsche 997 Carrera Coupe finished in Arctic Silver Metallic. Equipped with a desirable 6-speed manual transmission paired with a 3.6L flat-six engine, this 2006 example also came factory optioned with a special Black and Stone Grey interior, the Power Seat Package, and Bi-Xenon Headlamp Package. It was purchased by the current owner in 2018 and has covered only a few hundred miles since while always being garage-kept. This 997 is now being offered for auction by its owner out of Connecticut while showing just over 19k miles on the odometer.
The Arctic Silver Metallic finish received new Xpel paint protection film in 2018 over the front hood, bumper, fenders, and in front of the rear wheel arches. The brake calipers were also custom powder coated in red during this time and the car has seen very minimal use ever since, detailed images are provided in the photo gallery along with paint meter readings and a clean CARFAX report. This 997 is equipped with optional Bi-Xenon headlamps and rides on factory 18" Carrera wheels that come dressed in Michelin Pilot Sport tires which were installed within the last 500 miles.
Inside, this Carrera features a very nicely presented Black and Stone Grey interior with the optional Power Seat Package. All factory specifications have been retained and all gauges and accessories are reported to be fully functional.
Power comes from a naturally aspirated 3.6L flat-six engine featuring an upgraded EvoMS air intake. As much as 325 HP and 273 lb.-ft of torque stock are sent to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission, allowing for a 0-60 time of approximately 4.8 seconds and a top speed of over 175 MPH. Some history of maintenance is provided on CARFAX and the seller reports that a fresh oil and filter change were carried out in late 2020.
This sale will include two keys, original owner’s manuals, and a clean title. A nicely preserved and low-mileage 6-speed 997, this 2006 Carrera is an excellent choice for any discerning driver.

@choeglund Hi, those were before I owned the car.
Could have been a miss when shifting. The car has never seen a track or bad weather and looks as good as new so there definitely was no abuse, it was very well cared for and shows as such. Thanks
Looks like there were some range 3 and range 4 over-revs about 24 hours ago (~800 miles) can you explain what happened there? Missed shift? Track Day? Thanks.
Hi, I have not changed it and don’t believe it has ever been an issue with 997 cars. As far as I knew the IMS problem was with the 996’s. Thank you.
I don’t know if you answered this question but has the IMS bearing been changed? Tx

Hi, thanks for checking out the car. That is a question I can't honestly answer but could investigate. The car has had the CT emissions inspections and passes each time while I've
owned it.
@Tok50 thanks, beautiful car. Would it be a good assumption, that the car would pass CA smog, but may need the original air box, unless this one is CARB approved?

I am not aware of any other modifications. The car is in pristine condition in and out,
would not have purchased it otherwise. Thanks
Any other modifications that you know off?? Thanks
Hello, thanks for writing. The intake on the car was installed already when I acquired it-the
stock unit was not included. I have never chipped the car and to the best of my knowledge,
it hasn't been chipped. Let me know if you have other questions.
Does the stock intake come with the car?
Ever chipped?
