Now available for auction is this 2006 Porsche 997 Carrera Cabriolet finished in Carrara White over a Sand Beige interior. This first-generation 997 features a desirable 6-speed manual transmission as well as the optional Sport Chrono Package Plus, Bose High End Sound Package, and Exclusive Porsche crested headrests. It was reportedly under the care of the original owner and his son up until 2016 when it was purchased by the seller at 85k miles. Several notable service items have been dressed in recent years including the installation of a new clutch, direct oil feed IMS bearing, convertible top hydraulics, and ignition components. This 6-speed 997 is now being offered for auction for auction by its seller out of Florida while showing just over 89k miles on the odometer.
This 997 is finished in nonmetallic Carrara White with a brown cabriolet soft top. The seller reports the car to have always been garage-kept and covered. New 3M clear protective film was applied ahead of the rear wheel arches in 2020, detailed images are provided in the photo gallery along with a clean CARFAX report. This example rides on factory 19” Carrera III wheels dressed in Bridgestone Potenza RE980AS tires installed in 2019 within the last 2k miles.
Inside, this Carrera sports a Sand Beige interior with a black center console. Notable facotry features include Exclusive Porsche crested headrests, the Bose High End Sound package, self-dimming mirrors, and the Sport Chrono Package Plus which adds a functional lap timer to the center of the dashboard. Some signs of wear are noted on the shift knob and handbrake lever as well as chips on the ignition surround. The convertible top hydraulic pistons were replaced in 2018 and the seller confirms all gauges and accessories to be fully functional.
This first-generation 997 carries a naturally-aspirated 3.6L flat-six engine rated at up to 325 HP and 273 lb.-ft of torque, which is sent to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission. The optional Sport Chrono Package Plus allows the driver to optimize performance and suspension characteristics with the press of a button. Under previous ownership, the car is said to have been serviced through Porsche of Melbourne and Werkshop Melbourne of FL. Under the current ownership, the car has been serviced through Tune RS of Coral Springs, FL. A direct oil feed IMS bearing upgrade was carried out in 2018, the spark plugs and coils were replaced in 2019, and the clutch was replaced in November of 2020.
This sale will include the orignal owner's manuals, a set of two keys, a car cover, Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, and a clean title. With a coniderable amount of service addressed in the last few years, this 6-speed 997 Cabriolet is just waiting to be enjoyded by a new owner.

@Tomstoy No paint work has been done to this vehicle
@Tomstoy Thank you @Tomstoy, this was my first Porsche and was not aware of the sticker. The car does not have one. All I found black plate with general information. I would be happy to send it to you. After some research on the Porsche rennlist.com not all 997 have it under the hood, it is up to the dealer. The good thing is while looking in the maintenance book, which is a alternate location; I found additional service records from the original owner. (Thank You). On your second question, the lower center council was replaced with a black OEM. I went with the back to work with the black floor mats. The original sand beige was showing ware and tare. The work was completed when I replaced the 2 hydraulic pumps for the convertible at - https://tunersmotorsports.com/
@Ramy11 The garage under my car is the cleanest spot in the garage. In all seriousness the vehicle has no leaks. If your review the short video in the post it goes through a start up which was recorded on 6/13/21. Zero lights on the dash, as systems normal.
Any leaks, lights on in dash? Does it burn oil?
couple of things. has the car been resprayed/repainted? I see the options sticker is missing under the hood.
Is the Black Center console plastic or leather? Is it original?

@Espaillat This is good! A big bearing IMS car with a direct oil cooler is about as solid as you can get thanks for clarifying
@Dcatista Installed:

Hi - beautiful car here. Can you please clarify "including the installation of a new clutch, direct oil feed IMS bearing," does this mean a new IMS bearing was installed or was it just a direct oil feed that was installed? Amy chance you have a copy of the service invoice?
@Espaillat no nothing in particular. Just sone nice overall pictures. What you might usually see for undercarriage pics.
@Rarsenault I can pull it out of the garage in the morning (It is pouring in South Florida) and post some images. Is there any specific angle or location you would like?
Can we get any undercarriage pictures?

@Skindoc The vehicle can have one mounted, I never owned one.
There is no windstop with this vehicle.
@Adoptagreatpet The a/c runs cold, would be happy to run a temp check.
Does the A/C run cold? Thank you
Hello, looks like a very well kept 997. I don't see any mention or pictures with the windstop noted on the options list? Thanks GLWA
Welcome, please review and do not hesitate to reach out to me if you have any question.
The car is running great and a dream to drive.
