The M400 is a track-focused sports car built by Noble, a low-volume British sports car manufacturer founded in 1999. It comes equipped with a mid-mounted twin-turbocharged Ford Duratec V6 tuned by Rousch producing 425 HP paired to a 6-speed Getrag manual transmission, nestled in a lightweight steel tube chassis with plastic composite bodywork. Weighing around 2,400 pounds, the M400 offers a power-to-weight ratio of approximately 400 HP/per ton, allowing for acceleration from 0-60 MPH in just 3.2 seconds. Said to be one of only 75 examples produced, this rarely-seen Noble is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Virginia showing approximately 4k miles on the odometer.
The plastic-composite bodywork was manufactured by High-Tech Automotive of Port Elizabeth, South Africa, and then shipped to the Noble factory in Leicester, England, for final assembly. The exterior is finished in red and features a front spoiler, side scoops, an integrated ducktail spoiler, a rear diffuser, twin oval exhaust tips, a carbon fiber rear wing with matching red end caps, black brake calipers with white Noble logos, encapsulated headlights, and a vented hood. Staggered-width 18” multi-piece wheels wear M400 center caps and are mounted with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires.
The interior of the M400 features Sparco racing seats upholstered in black Alcantara with embroidered M400 badges and 5-point black and yellow racing harnesses, in addition to 3-point standard safety belts. The track-focused cabin is equipped with a factory roll cage, a fire suppression system, a three-spoke Noble steering wheel with carbon fiber trim, red horn buttons, and a quick release hub, an aluminum handbrake handle, push-button ignition, and optional air conditioning. Instrumentation includes center-mounted boost and oil pressure gauges, and the driver is supplied with a 200-MPH speedometer, an 8k-RPM tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The passenger side dash is fitted with an Alpine radio and a 5.8” Alpine LCD monitor.
The mid-mounted 3.0L Ford Duratec V6 is tuned by Rousch and produces up to 425 HP and 390 lb.-ft of torque. Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a Getrag six-speed manual transaxle and a Quaife limited-slip differential, which allows the M400 to accelerate from 0-60 MPH in 3.2 seconds and reach a claimed top speed of over 200 MPH. The M400 has no anti-lock braking system, stability control, traction control, or airbags.
This sale will include owner’s manuals, some service documentation, a Noble-branded storage bag, and a bill of sale.

@Lstepp4re No the car would just be titled as normal car it’s not a track car by any means and no these are not track miles the car has never been tracked, again I’ve titled six of these all titled as normal cars
Seller ..track miles of 4400 vs street miles is a real question and will greatly influence the bidding process..
Not sure how to comment here..tried to tag the Seller… but, looks like I actually tag myself..my apologies for being a Newbee..Question still stands?
Bid in the amount of $36,000
@Lstepp4re If never titled ,therefore not street legal..is is a fair assumption ..that all the miles are track miles?
Bid in the amount of $35,000
@prmnorton1 understand and thx for the prompt response
@Lstepp4re These cars actually do not come with titles in order to title them in your state they come with a Bill of sale, most states can do it, No this particular one has not been registered or titled anywhere I titled six previously and it’s not a difficult process but it does take some time for them to process everything

I need some more room!!!!!! Tyler Hoover might have "Car Issues" but I really got "Car Issues" I will be keeping my eye on it and see where we go with it. I got a feeling that no one at any cars and coffee will have a Noble if you bring this!!!!!
Great Info!!!! Thank you!!
@Handsofstone yea they are awesome you want be disappointed, some of the funnest cars I’ve ever driven
@amaliesdad48 Yeah George is actually really easy this car is 15 years old so all you need in Georgia is a bill of sale and they give you what you call a transferable registration which is actually the title and then you can you know whenever you sell it you just give that transferable registration title, which is the title, George is actually the easiest and quickest
Love these cars. In reality I haven't seen one in person or sat in one, but........been plenty of cars that I have bought before ever driving one!!!!!
Question to seller. My dad lives in Georgia. He is looking into it now to see about if with just bill of sale there can be a title made up.My question is what happens if whoever buys the car cannot get it titled or registered. This car is as-is with that or is there some sort of guarantee you could give us.Thanks.
Bid in the amount of $16,000
@ferakobv I have two others and I registered them both as a 05 and 06 noble so I guess it just depends on the state
Don't these have to get registered as kit cars? Has this one never been registered in the US?
@JimBo986 yea these cars are awesome, so fun to drive, this one is like new, it’s flawless, and yes I can explain and help the winning bidder register the car no problem, I have a close friend in ca that did my last one for me, took some time but he got it done
@prmnorton1 Thank you for your reply. It is an amazing car. I currently have a M12 and a Q1 and previously had a M400. So to say the least I love these cars and know them very well. After dealing with the CA BAR I can tell you I know them pretty well also. So if you have a way to register these cars in CA, I want to know you too. Again, thank you for your reply.
@JimBo986 They are dealer tags , I have three of these I’ve registered them and titled them in California Vermont and Montana it’s not a difficult process it just takes about 3-6 months
@prmnorton1 just curious, you say that it has never been titled but the car is pictured with CA plates on it. How or why is it pictured with these plates? Also, let's be clear that if it has never been registered in CA, it is impossible to register it now. Also, without the MSO or title it will be nearly impossible to register it elsewhere.
@beachedferrari yes correct no title, i bought it form first and only owner, he lost the certificate of origin and purchase information, car has never been tilted, you can get it titled in Georgia, Vermont or Montana, California and a few other states with just a bill of sale, Vermont and Montana you just mail in info and they send title and plates
To confirm the title status of bill of sale... this has no title, is that correct? Is the seller aware of it ever being titled previously?
I've been repairing all cars and trucks for years, and that Engine is the best V-6 ever made. 2.5 and 3.0 are indestructible as long as they have oil and water. GL
Lets get it started!!!!
