Available for auction at no reserve is this 2006 Mercedes-Benz W220 S430 finished in Cubanite Silver Metallic over an Anthracite leather interior. The W220 was the flagship Mercedes-Benz S-Class sedan produced from 1998-2005, with the S430 model carrying an M113 V8 engine. Cared for by two prior owners, this final-year example was purchased locally by the seller in 2021 and comes equipped with the rare AMG Styling Package, 18” AMG wheels, and has recently undergone a major 100k-mile service. It is now being offered for auction by its third owner out of Missouri showing approximately 103k miles on the odometer.
This S-Class comes finished in Cubanite Silver Metallic and features the optional AMG Styling Package which includes side skirts and more aggressive front and rear fascias. The W220 received a mid-cycle facelift for the 2002 model year which included a more upright grille, transparent headlamp housings with sealed-beam projectors, and revised taillights. The front bumper is said to have been previously refinished to address road-going wear and the seller reports only minor cosmetic imperfections throughout the exterior, additional images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report. The car rides on a set of pre-facelift 18" AMG monoblock wheels dressed in Lionhart Atlas tires dated from 2019.
The cabin is trimmed in Anthracite leather with Burl wood accents on the dashboard, center console, and door panels. Amenities include the COMAND system with navigation, Bose audio, automatic climate control, cruise control, heated power-adjustable front seats, the Memory Package, an electric rear window blind, Parktronic park assist, and a sliding sunroof.
The 4.3L M113 V8 sends up to 275 HP and 295 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels by way of a 7-speed automatic transmission. A lower-mileage replacement engine was reportedly installed at 101k miles. A recent 100k-mile service is also said to have included new valve cover gaskets, a breather cover reseal, new spark plugs and wires, fluid flushes, new brakes, engine mounts, a new starter motor, EGR valve, and air conditioning compressor. The CARFAX report includes 23 service records dating as far back as 2005.
This sale will include the original owner's manuals and sales literature, some service records, and a clean title. With its rare AMG Styling Package and major recent service, this S430 presents a value that is not to be missed.

@rath1 Can you upload the detailed receipt from all these services? I want to bid with confidence. Thanks
@nobrakes Ride level feature works great, the previous owner had the air compressor replaced. The car does not sag when it is left in garage.

Hi. What is the status on the ride level feature? Has it been serviced? Does the car sag after time in the garage? Thanks
Bid in the amount of $2,750
@TomBuddTX I purchased the engine from Eastern Automotive. Prior to install, I had it serviced with new water pump, thermostat, fluids, filters, ac compressor, starter, valve cover gaskets, breather cover resealed, spark plugs and wires. I have already submitted paperwork for this to the team and should be posted later today.
@rath1 Thanks for the upload of Cold Start... really cold at 28 degrees.
You state the Replacement Engine had 83K miles and was "serviced" . Where are the details of the services? I won't be the only one asking this question. Where did the Engine come from?
@rippler Thank you! I've definitely taken care of mine and you're right the W220 was a piece of art for sure. There are no aftermarket modifications, the car is all original.
Bid in the amount of $2,500
The W220 is my favorite S-Class! They belong in a museum. Looks like you’ve got yourself a very fine example of one. Are there any aftermarket modifications done on it?
@msobilo Yes no problem, I don't have much other than the tag that came with the engine. It had 83k miles on it. It was completely refreshed prior to install with: new water pump, thermostat, fluids, filters, ac compressor, starter, valve cover gaskets, breather cover resealed, and spark plugs and wires. I have submitted this to the team and should show up soon.
@TomBuddTX I have also submitted video of the cold start as requested. I have not noticed any abnormal noises coming from the engine. It is mechanically sound and runs perfectly normal. I have a very sensitive microphone on my DSLR camera that amplifies sound in front of it that could've mad it sound louder than it is.
@TomBuddTX Yes, I have submitted receipts from the parts purchased and labor to the team.
Any paperwork on the history of the new engine?
Can you supply a cold start video? Car seems very noisy when shown running in your videos. Thanks!
Can you post details and receipt from 100K Service? I want to see details. Thanks.
