This 2006 Ferrari F430 Spider presents a traditional combination of Rosso Corsa over a tan leather interior and comes factory-equipped with a highly desirable 6-speed gated manual transmission as well as Daytona-style seats, carbon fiber trim, 19" Challenge Stradale wheels, and more. Initially delivered at Ferrari of Central New Jersey, this F430 Spider benefits from a recent annual service and is now being offered for auction out of California showing approximately 20k miles on the odometer.
Finished in Rosso Corsa, this F430 Spider is equipped with optional 19" Challenge Stradale wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires from 2020. Also factory-optioned are red brake calipers and Scuderia fender shields. The seller reports that the underside of the front bumper has been repainted due to scraping and that paint protection film has been applied to the front hood, fenders, mirrors, and rocker panels. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
Inside, this Ferrari is upholstered in tan leather and features electrically operated Daytona-style seats with black inserts, matching leather-wrapped rollbars, and special stitching. This car was also specified with a rear bench in leather and the optional HiFi sound system with a subwoofer as well as carbon fiber trim adorning the driver zone, steering wheel, door sills, lower cabin zone, and shift knob. The seller indicates the sound system has been upgraded with an Alpine head unit along with aftermarket Kicker speakers between the seats.
Powered by a 4.3-liter 32-valve V8 paired with a gated 6-speed manual transmission, the F430 spider produces up to 483 HP and 343 lb.-ft. of torque and can accelerate to 60 MPH from a standstill in approximately 4 seconds. Standard equipment includes adaptive suspension and an E-Diff electronically controlled differential. The seller states a factory-recommended annual service was recently carried out including new spark plugs, valve cover gaskets, fluids, and filters. The seller adds that there are currently no outstanding maintenance items.
This sale will include the owner’s manuals, a window sticker, a toolkit, a spare tire, an air pump, a VIP book, and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “This car originally came from the East Coast and was then sold by us to the most recent owner. The current owner has taken very good care of the car, always servicing and maintaining every aspect of the car. This car comes with the real original window sticker and all the accessories including the rare spare BBS wheel and tire. this car was also optioned with the exclusive subwoofer in between the seats, although this one is aftermarket. All of the sticky buttons have been cleaned and or repaired in the interior. this car also has all the interior carbon fiber options including the steering wheel and carbon fiber shift knob. It also has the Challenge wheels, the leather-wrapped roll bars, and a leather upholstered rear bench. Obviously, the big sell for this car is that it is the last mid-engine manual Ferrari since everything new is automatic. Not sure how many were made in manual, but a little research shows possibly less than 10% of all F430s were manual. We have recently completed a service on the car including a factory-recommended annual service including spark plug replacement and valve cover gaskets including all fluids and filters, but we do not have any previous service records.”

@oc23 the dash leather is still in good condition. The stitching lines surrounding the windshield defroster vents is a little wavy which would lend to the idea that the leather has shrunk a bit since brand new. However, the leather in those areas is not split, nor is the material underneath the leather showing around those air vents. All other stitch lines and panels on the dash are straight and smooth.

In pic 99 and some others it seems like the leather above the glove box is a little wavy/warped? Any other areas where there are leather issues, such as on the top of the dash coming off or anything like that?

@Munich911 the F430's are chain driven engines. The days of the dreded belt services ended with the 360. We just completed the manufacturer's recommended annaual maintenance (fluids & filters) including the spark plugs, and also replaced the valve cover gaskets (due to oil sweating).
When were the belts last replaced?
@Thejadeway yes, this Ferrari has most recently been registered here in California and just completed/passed a California emmissions test after we completed the annual maintenance last month. This Ferrari is ready to roll!

I apologize; I see the carfax at the end.
Is this registered in CA or passed the CA smog test?
@Tmort we have called our local Ferrari dealership and unfortunately they can only see the warranty work, recalls, and campaigns that have been completed on a vehicle. Each dealer cannot see customer pay work completed at other dealerships. The exhaust manifolds are not listed under any warranty or campaign services completed to this particular VIN#. This being said, it does not mean the manifolds have not been replaced, but without any records, we would have to assume they are the originals.
Any idea if the exhaust manifolds have been replaced? I know you said exhaust seems to be original.
thanks very much, Seller. if they are both straight it must be an optical illusion. I appreciate the response.
@Jimbuoy thank you for the question. Measuring the emblem height from the above body line, the PF emblem does not seem to be crooked. Maybe its the picture angle, or the clear bra lines cut around the emblem that are making it look that way in the photo. Looking at all the normal areas such as the door jambs, under the fuel door, under the front bonnet, and body panel edges, there are no indicators that there has been significant paint work on the body panels. This being said, we had the lower portion of the front bumper re-finished due to some scrapes underneath. We do not have a paint meter on hand, but if we can get ahold of one before the auction ends, we will be happy to take some readings aroud the vehicle for you.
one more question on this:
I had asked about paint meter readings because i've never seen the pininfarina badging as crooked as it is on the driver's side. Any indicators you can see that it has been repainted?
Bid in the amount of $100,250
@wshimoon thank you for the question. We do not have any records noting that the top has been changed.
Love 430s and I love this build1 Seller: do you have paint meter readings or the ability to get them?
Thanks and good luck with the auction.
Was the top ever changed?
@BarTex the vehicle is being sold with 1 key. We would be happy to assist in ordering a second key for you at the end of the auction. Yes, the exhaust on the vehicle looks to be factory original.
Beautiful car. Do you have two keys? Is the exhaust original?
