This 2006 Dodge Sprinter van was originally purchased new in 2006 and was converted into a luxurious mobile office in 2007 at a cost of $350k by Becker Auto Design of Oxnard, California. The European tan leather upholstered interior has been fitted with two leather reclining seats, and two sets of leather sofa-style bench seats, to accommodate up to 8 adults. The roof features custom burlwood veneer trim that extends to the side consoles, bulkheads, and sliding door. The rear cabin features aviation-style power window blinds, controlled by Rolls-Royce switches, illuminated by dimmable aviation-style LED lighting. A complete Crestron audio/visual/computer system has been installed including a printer, 2 headrest monitors, and a main 30” LCD display in the front, as well as a satellite television tuner, a custom sound system, and a DVD player. The suspension has been upgraded with a custom independent rear end, heavy-duty upper control arms, custom aluminum bearing hubs, Fox shocks, Hypercoil springs, and the drivetrain has been customized with a 9” Ford differential and modified driveshafts. Showing 169k miles on the odometer, this custom Becker Jet Van is now being offered at auction by the seller based in New York.
This Jet Van is finished in Brilliant Silver Metallic (744) with a high-top roof and 158” wheelbase. Exterior equipment includes upgraded 18” W463 G-Class wheels, a custom front bumper, custom fender flares, and custom side steps, powder-coated to match the exterior of the vehicle. A custom automatic electric sliding door by Becker has been installed, integrated to operate with the factory locking system, and can be controlled by remote, a switch located in the cabin, or by the driver.
The front cab was reupholstered in black European leather with matching Wilton wool carpeting and door panels and features a powered glass partition, a Pioneer AVIC N2 flip-out touchscreen navigation system with XM radio, a rear-view camera, a control panel switchboard, a Becker custom intercom system, and a Hewlett Packard 450 desktop printer in the center console.
The rear cabin has undergone an extensive conversion, starting out with a frame and substructures made from birch hardwood, including the side walls, ceiling, window trims, and electronic control housings, and the installation of sound deadening and insulation materials. The floor is upholstered with Karastan wool carpeting, with matching floor mats for the main seating area and cargo floor, and the walls, ceiling, door panels, and rear armrest fixtures are trimmed in tan European leather. Custom highly finished burl wood veneered trim spans from the roof to the side consoles, front overhead bulkhead cover, and sliding door. Seating can accommodate up to 8 adults, featuring a second row rear-facing 3-person sofa-style bench seat, custom-built third-row reclining rear bucket seats with electric leg extensions, back and seat heaters, and back massagers, in addition to a fourth-row sofa-style bench seat with power operation and 3 positions of reclining.
This Jet Van features a long list of amenities, including a rear high-output dual air conditioning and heating system with carbon filtration, folding trays, a side console refrigerator, dimmable aviation-style LED lighting, and aviation-style power window blinds with electronic control, operated by Rolls-Royce switches. A custom mounted Crestron audio/visual system with a 6.4” touchpanel controls a suite of multimedia features, such as a desktop computer with a mobile internet router and an integrated wireless keyboard and mouse, a KVH A7 Direct TV satellite television tuner, a Kenwood DVD player, the main 32” LCD monitor, 2 headrest-mounted screens with wireless headphones, front and rear view cameras, and a custom sound system, consisting of a Pioneer head unit, a JL Audio 6-channel amplifier connected to 6 Boston Acoustics 6” coaxial speakers, and a Guitammer Sub Bass Generator with a 500w JL Audio mono amplifier. All electrical components utilize color-coded wire looms, electrical distribution blocks, and individual component fuse blocks and circuit breakers, and power is derived from a custom dual-battery setup, a 200-amp Mercedes-Benz high-output alternator, and a 2000 watt Pure Sinewave power inverter.
Due to the added weight of the interior, a custom independent rear suspension configuration was built by Becker Automotive design with a heavy-duty housing, nodular iron case and pinion support, custom aluminum bearing hubs to accommodate the rear brakes, modified driveshafts, and a custom-built cast aluminum section housing a Ford 9” rear differential. Heavy-duty upper control arms, Fox shocks, and Hypercoil springs have also been installed. Power comes from a Mercedes-Benz 2.7-liter inline-five-cylinder turbo-diesel engine, which produces 154 horsepower and 243 pounds-feet of torque, driving the rear wheels through a 5-speed automatic transmission. The seller reports all maintenance to be up-to-date, and this Sprinter is in excellent running and driving condition.
This sale will include a clean title.

@Selo Height 103.6 in.
Length 263 in.
@Selo Thank you for asking, the rear bench can go back into a deep recline and can be moved back and forth (for more leg room vs. luggage room) and up and down (because why not?). No seats in the JetVan fold flat to make a bed. The middle row captains chairs (2) have foldable armrests and allow the footrest to be fully extended and adjusted up and down. These two seats are where you want to sit & can go into a very deep recline, massage, and have heat function + you’re facing the larger TV & the main controls are at your fingertips. You can comfortably sleep in these chairs, but not a bed per se.
What are the dimensions of the vehicle - specifically, how tall and how long?
Bid in the amount of $21,000
Seems like I read somewhere in the comments or description that the seats fold flat into kind of a bed. Is this the intent? Is there more than one sleeping spot?
Bid in the amount of $20,000
@mikelaca Thank you for your question. The Crestron system is working perfectly as intended and controls all systems in the vehicle. Does not need to be reprogrammed. I believe we have all documents relating to that, will go out to van now and confirm it is with it.
Does it come with the full crestron programming files and all passwords, otherwise the system would have to be reprogrammed from scratch by a Crestron programmer.

Thank you bidders and watchers for your interest as we enter the final hours of the auction. I will be standing by to quickly answer any questions you have. Good luck!

@Abuong01 Thank you for your question. We averaged about 22mpg on this between city, highway, and idling. The diesel engine paired with 5 speed automatic is quite efficient and can cruise at the highway at 75 mph.
Any estimate on MPG for this van

@Luxuryaircrafts Hi Guys- That make sense- I couldn't believe there was a hole in that part of this van with the cost of building it
Thanks a lot, Rob
@robmsales The “hole” in the drivers footwell is actually just the rubber floor liner worn down and is purely cosmetic. These sprinters didn’t have typical carpet and whoever was the driver previous to our ownership must have had a heavy heel. It was never an issue for us or our driver but could be addressed with a new/used factory rubber piece for next to nothing or a set of mats.
Hi, can you tell me more about the hole in the driver's floor?
I have tried the figure out what is going on there, and I come up without knowing what happened or why this wasn't addressed before listing a nice Van
Rob
@CJWRacing33 that’s exactly right! Becker Automotive was inspired by the Bombardier Global Express for their Jet Van build. This particular example currently resides in a hangar with a few private jets.
wow this is like a really really slow private jet. I love it
This aint your "regular" sprinter conversion. If you're not familiar with Becker Automotive Design, they are the foremost name in Luxury Sprinter conversions and no expense is spared on these builds. Becker Automotive has been awarded Robb Report's Best of the Best for the past 15 years in a row. This van was $355k in 2007 which is $485,915 in today's dollars! Please let me know if you have any questions at all. Thank you for checking out our Becker "Jet Van" and good luck bidding!
